Daring Rescue To Doo.
W
Previous ChapterYou start walking down the corridor with the water emblem. There doesn't appear to be any form of torches on the walls, or any other way to make light. You reach up with your hoof and flick on the headlamp. That momentary lapse in concentration and stability cause you to loose balance when a rock in the corridor gives way beneath you. You fall face first, and looking up you are just in time to see the entrance closing off.
With the exit shut the only source of light is your headlamp. The sound of rushing water is now coming from cracks in the walls and ceiling. You got up and are now running down the corridor in hopes of salvation from whatever trap has been sprung.
You see a turn in the hallway. After taking the turn all you see is a wall. A short corridor with a wall at the end. A dead end, you now realize that the dead end, is your end.
Water is now pouring out of the cracks in the wall. The water that is filling the tomb you have been sealed is rising, and not as slowly as you would like. After mere moments the water has covered your hooves. A few more moments pass and the water is halfway up your legs. You franticly try to find any way to escape, pressing on various rocks on the walls and floor.
Now the water is up to your head, you are having to tilt your face up to continue breathing. As the water rises further you now have to tread water to continue breathing.
The water is now almost at the ceiling, you will only have a few more breaths before all the breathable air is vacated. Now it is only your nose above water, touching the ceiling. you breath in deeply one last time.
Your subconscious only lets you hold your breath for so long. Eventually you lose the battle of holding your breath, and intake water. Unaccustomed to having your lungs filled with fluid you try to cough it up, but only water is there to take it's place. Your senses are now dimming.
Followed by nothing.
