I looked up into another dark sky, thinking death was upon me. In a flash of bright light, I awoke to the morning light. I lay there, limp and heavy as stone. I couldn't remember anything after the fall. Letting my head rise itself, I looked around to see my surroundings. I was in the same, yet a different environment from where I was last. I was still in the Crystal Empire, I could see that, but the castle didn't look as dark. It wasn't very bright, but it was in a better state.

I shakily stood up, and felt my nose start to bleed. At least it was a sign I was still alive. A rainbow-maned pony flew above me, looking down. ''Hey Miss, are you okay?'' she asked. Miss? I thought. Last time I checked, I was a little filly. There was a small puddle of water next to me. I went over to it to look at my reflection, and what I saw shocked me. Standing there, where I was supposed to be, was a beautiful young mare with a brushed blue and light blue mane, and a white flank. I stepped back and shook the image out of my head. It wasn't possible! It couldn't be.... but I couldn't deny the truth, I was a full grown mare.

The rainbow Pegasus still hovered over me. ''Hello, Miss? Do you need something?'' she grumbled impatiently. I looked at her in fear. Was I supposed to be here? I quickly snatched up my Moongrazer flower, which looked more shriveled then before, and I ran. I ran as fast as I could, crying all the way. Why am I here? Why am I not dead? I thought as dark thoughts invaded my mind. But most importantly... where is my family?

Many hours later, the night grew over the horizon, and the sun was put to sleep until the next day. I was exhausted from running all day, and thousands of questions ran over in my head. I stopped on a hill overlooking a small town, tomorrow morning I would investigate and keep my head low, I hoped no one would notice. I lay down to the comfy grass, taking in the sounds of the night. And soon I rested my head upon the ground, and sleep enveloped me.

I awoke to the sound of morning birds, chirping softly to announce the awakening of the day.  I yawned and stretched, feeling the grass beneath my hooves. Drowsily, I looked up, taking in the sight of the small town below me. A sign was posted on the outskirts, saying Ponyville I had never heard of this town, so I wondered how they would treat me.

I walked into town, taking in the sights as I did, enjoying the view as I went. This city... just game me a feeling of positivity, not the strain I had on my back throughout my travels. A pony with a white and blue mane and approached me with a smile. "Welcome to Ponyville!'' She said positively, I forced a weak smile. "I'm Colgate! And you are..."

"Rabbit." I replied shyly, wiping away any dried blood on my face. "Well you're new here, aren't you?"  I nodded and Colgate yelled, "PINKIE PIE! WE HAVE A NEWBIE!!!'' Before I could do anything, a pink streak ran up to me at top speed. "Heyi'mpinkiepienicetomeetyouyouarenewhereright?!" She said excitedly. I just stood there and blushed, and soon other ponies came my way. One purple, one orange another white with a purple mane, one pink and yellow and one...rainbow-maned...It was the same pony she met at her home. She was certain to recognize her.

"Hey you!" She said.

Oh-no... well, there goes my stay at Ponyville...
