Ok, so quick recap.

The summary was 1 month ago and junk but yeah.

This is when stuff gets crazy emotional.

Luna stood on her ivory terrace, dreading the soon-to-be events.

She glared at the ground, wishing to switch places with her sister, sleeping the night away.

She backed up some and galloped towards the balcony, pushed of the railing with her front hooves, and soared into the sky.

The moon followed in her mane's starry wake, just like always. And, just like always- ponies rushed to their homes, making the oth nocturnals her only company. She did not notice Celstia on her own golden terrace watching her sister's teardrops fall like stars themselves.  The white pony scowled and stalked back to her bed.

'What's she so sad about, I only get one big star to work with, heh! She gets thousands of tiny ones and a giant glowy rock.' The usually angelic pony nastily scowled in her thoughts.

A cloud of swirling reds, blacks, and purples wandered into the sky, disguising itself in the stars, and glared at it's origin, a tree stump surrounded by a burnt clearing, dotted with glowing sapphires. It looked like the night sky itself. The stump, was carved with craters and crevices much like the moon, glowed a brilliant white, mimicking the one orbiting the planet. The cloud scowled and sunk into the darkness of night.

Our favorite princess of the night glided back to her room, face drenched with tears of sorrow. She settled in at her desk and brought out her quill and diary.

Dear Diary,

today was like always. My sister was praised for getting up after she stumbled, but I received no kind words for not falling in the first place.

I only received dozens of glares, each one suspecting that i had tripped her myself.

Diary, why is it only me that hate? My father also brought the night, yet he is loved and so were his creations.

My mother was not treated any better than him as a child.

People seem to think that I was in alliance with Discord. But, i helped defeat him, yes, i nearly destroyed our old castle with a flurry od meteorites, but it worked, Right?

Someone is knocking, I have to go.

Thank you, diary.

~Luna

I walked to the door and grimaced when i saw what was before me. A drawing of a beast with sharp fangs and cold eyes roared from my terrace at the kingdom. I galloped back to my terrace and blasted ingot he ever free forest. The moon rose in a jolt with my burst of my magic. I skidded into a clearing and sobbed on a stump, not noticing that i was sitting on the night sky's replica.

A static voice cackled, "I bet you wished they loved your night as they love her day, don't you?"

not bothering with the petty -i don't think i should say..- i practically screamed, "Yes! I want to be loved as much as her, i want the night to be loved more that day ever will be!"

I wiped tears from my eyes and saw i was standing on sky.

I twirled around the scorched circle of midnight.

"This is beautiful!" I exclaimed.

"Indeed. "

THe sound of static screamed in my ears and vanished as quickly as the kingdom's laughter at dusk.

I looked at my stars filled with melancholy.

I dipped my gaze to forest around me and saw something for only a split second.

I couldn't tell what it was so i brushed it off a flapped my way back to the ivory terrace i have come to love.

I did not see a beast with sharp teeth and turquoise silted eyes peering at me before it turned back into a cloud and vanished to my night sky.

No, I didn't, but a strange little black and white filly did.
