Spike and the Opposite Six

Solar Flare paced back and forth on her hooves as her sister and student were there with her as they waited for the doctors to let them know of Spike's condition. After his transformation, they had to calm him down before he went and rampaged through the town. Lucky for her that her student and friends were there to help lend a hoof in calming down the dragon. Once he had calmed down, he had reverted to his original self, but was unconscious.

So now here she was, anxious to here what news the doctor had about her son.

Sunset felt bad for her teacher as all three of them waited to hear the news about the young dragon. Her friends had wanted to come, but the doctor had told them that it would be better if there was a small number of visitors at a time. He said that too many people swarming him after he awakes could cause him to shift into that unknown form they had mentioned to him. So her friends had decided that she should stay there to keep them updated.

The stallion doctor soon came through the doors and came face to face to an anxious Solar Flare. “How is he? Is he alright? Will he be OK?” asked the princess who needed her student and sister to calmly hold he r back while the doctor got room to speak.

“Not to worry princess Solar Flare. Young Spike was brought back just in time. We have him resting in a room if you would like to see him.” replied the doctor letting the three go by and down the hall before stopping at the door.

Solar Flare pushed open the door and took a peek inside before smiling at seeing her son resting in the hospital bed. She walked in with her sister and student behind her as they all smiled at seeing the little dragon alright.

Solar Flare walked besides her son and gently nuzzled her head on his cheek. Spike soon smiled in his sleep and wrapped his arms around her neck. She looked down to notice that Spike's arms seemed longer than before. She turned to the doctor and was careful not to break out of her son's grip. “Doctor, why is Spike's arms longer than before?”

The doctor grabbed a clipboard from the counter before answering. “It would seem that Spike had a growth spurt. Which is quite common in all dragons living here.”

Solar Flare carefully nodded before bringing her head up and reluctantly out of his grip and carefully rubbed the spines on his head. That seemed to stir the young dragon awake as his eyes opened and saw his mother rubbing his head. “Mom?”

“It's alright son, you're family is here for you.” replied Solar Flare as Nightmare Moon and Sunset Shimmer walked over to his other side and smiled at him.

Spike grinned and let his body relax into the pillow as his body had not fully recovered yet. Solar Flare and the other two noticed this and slowly left the room to let the young prince have his rest.

Spike seemed to have a contented smile on his face, but inside his mind was a different story.

Spike looked around in confusion as he found himself in his mind again. He stood up and saw the dark figure form before when he asked for help. “Alright, why am I here again?” asked Spike.

“Nothing serious, just to warn you about our deal.” replied the figure with a sinister chuckle at the end.

“Why would you warn me about our deal?” asked Spike who had a sneaking feeling it wasn't good.

“Just that you will want to take it seriously. What I want out of this deal is something you will have to fight for later on.” replied the figure.

“And what's that?” asked Spike seeing the figure stand up and tower over him.

“Control of your body.” replied the figure letting out a dark laugh as Spike stood there in disbelief.

He shook his head a little before looking at the figure with a glare. “What do you mean? Why do you want my body?”

The figure stopped laughing to look at Spike with a pair of menacing red eyes. “You still haven't figured it out? Perhaps this will make things more clear.” replied the figure holding a glowing white orb in his claws. He flung it at Spike and watched as it sunk into his skin and smiled at seeing the dragon begin to shake and claw at the ground in pain.

Spike could feel as though his body was burning from the inside out. He stared at the figure with hate filled eyes and could feel himself waking up. He let the darkness cloud his vision before his body soon disappeared.

The figure merely grinned before sitting down cross-legged and whispered a single sentence before he let his meditation take over.

“Won't he be surprised. They all will.”

(Real world)

We now find the spirit of chaos himself with the dark mane six as they trekked through the Everfree Forest. The creatures of the forest had all learned long ago not to mess with any of them. Less they wanted to be stuffed and mounted.

“I can't believe this! My plan was fool proof! How could that tiny dragon prince, ruin all my plans!” exclaimed Discord in anger as he continued with his ramblings. The dark mane six however, were having a similar conversation.

“I can't believe we got our buts whooped by a baby dragon!” exclaimed Rainbow Dash in anger.

“I don't know what you're all talking about. We beat them hoofs down.” replied Applejack with a lie.

“Oh please, you're just as sore as we all are.” replied Rarity who was frustrated that her finest armor was ruined.

“He was fun. I'll need a bigger trap for him next time.” replied Pinkie Pie with a crazed glint in her eye.

“He'll make a great new pet for me when we catch him. He'd be more useful then this fleabag.” replied Fluttershy pointing to the manticore that was carrying her.

“Quit wining. I wasn't having anymore luck than you all when I was facing Solar Flare's 'precious' student.” replied Twilight in frustration at having been beaten.

“I don't even know why I bother to stay around you all when I could easily take them by myself.” replied Rainbow Dash with an arrogant tone.

“Keep telling yourself that, loser.” replied Fluttershy with an impassive look on her face before Rainbow Dash gritted her teeth and tackled the Pegasus off her animal.

Soon, the other four tried to stop the fight, but only made things worse as they began to fight one another, causing one spirit of chaos to nearly go ballistic.

“SHUT UP!” exclaimed Discord as the six ponies stopped where they were at and kept quiet. “All of you just be quiet, and let me think of a plan b when we get home.” Discord turned back around as he continued there long walk home.

“Though I hate to admit it, that dragon was strong.” replied Rarity who was surprised that a small dragon could suddenly transform and defeat them with ease.

“I know. He'll be a perfect pet after I get done with him.” replied Fluttershy with an emotionless face, but a dark underline to her words.

“I still say I can take him.” replied Rainbow Dash refusing to look weak.

“Keep talking. We all love to here you speak.” replied Applejack with another obvious lie.

“Hehe, bigger trap. Bigger and better next time.” muttered Pinkie to herself in excitement.

“All I care about, is crushing Sunset and putting that dragon in his place.” replied Twilight with conviction as their figures disappeared in the dark forest.

The scene switched over to the golden oaks library as Sunset and her friends could be seen sitting in the living room. Sunset headed back home from the hospital to tell her friends how Spike was doing. All of them were relieved to hear that he was alright.

“Glad the little guy is alright.” replied Lightning Dust.

“Yeah, I felt a little scared for the squirt there.” replied Gilda resting her head on her claws.

“I'm thankful everything's alright. I can't wait til we go and visit.” replied Cherry with a cheerful tone in her voice.

“We all know why you really want to visit him. Hoping to get some alone time?” teased Trixie to her friend.

Cherry could tell her cheeks were pink before shaking her head and turning to the grinning unicorn. “Oh really? And you're not? We all know you love it when he compliments you on your magic.” countered Cherry who smiled at seeing Trixie begin to blush.

“Don't forget that me and Fleur also use magic, Cherry.” replied Sunset.

Cherry lost her grin and pouted in mock anger. All the girls just burst into giggles as they all awaited til they could see Spike. And boy will he be surprised by what they've got.
