Lyra's Brony Presentation

The following morning Lyra woke up from her sleep. Her mind was filled with the memories from yesterday. Today the class didn't need to go to school. "Okay Colgate, here i come," Lyra said, remembering what she promised her.

Colgate was wandering around her house, waiting for Lyra. It seemed like time never passed, or that it took extremely long for Lyra to come to her house.

Colgate saw Lyra come in the distance.

"Oh hey Colgate," Lyra said to the blue Unicorn. "What's up?"

Colgate looked like she were having many of thoughts in her mind.

"Lyra, can i tell you something?" Colgate questioned.

"Sure, what is it?" Lyra questioned.

"There are some ponies searching for you," Colgate answered. This made Lyra curious. Who really searched for Lyra for what seemed like a normal day like this one?

"Who are searching for me?" Lyra questioned.

"Well, it is Roseluck and Carrot Top," Colgate answered to the mint green unicorn.

"Um, why are they searching for me?" Lyra questioned the blue unicorn.

"Well, i don't know. Maybe you should ask them," Colgate answered.

Lyra thought for some time. She did know where they lived. "Okay I'll do it Colgate".

After trotting some time, it felt like she were being watched by somepony. Lyra went to Roseluck's House, noticing that the door opened.

"Hi, Lyra," Roseluck said.

"Hi, Roseluck. Is Carrot Top here too?"

Roseluck trotted out of door, followed after by Carrot Top.

"I guess that answers my question then," Lyra said. "Colgate told me you were searching for me."

"Yes, we were," Carrot Top answered. "We had to thank you".

Lyra thought for a moment. "Thank me? For what?" Lyra questioned. She did not understand what Roseluck and Carrot Top were talking about.

"For showing us the show," Roseluck answered.

Lyra didn't understand what she meant at first, but realized what Roseluck was talking about. "So what you're saying is...?"

"We're bronies now, thanks to you," Carrot Top said. "After the presentation you had yesterday, we wondered what the show really was about".

"We also learned a few things of the fandom," Roseluck added.

Lyra didn't know what to think of this, other than two new ponies in the fandom. "Um, thank you, i guess," Lyra said.

"Other than that, there's nothing more much to say," Roseluck said.

There was one question Lyra wanted to ask Roseluck and Carrot Top before leaving.

"Hey, do wanna come and play with Colgate?" Lyra questioned the two ponies.

Roseluck looked towards Carrot Top before answering Lyra.

"Sure, what are you going to do?"

"Well," Lyra said. "It will mainly be hide and seek or finding out what Colgate's cutie mark would be," Lyra said. She thought of her own cutie mark, a musical instrument.

"We'll come and play, then," Roseluck said.

"Yeah, me too," Carrot Top said.  Even though she already had her cutie mark, she could still help Roseluck and Colgate earn theirs.

"Okay, meet up at Colgate's house," Lyra said.

After playing some time, the fillies asked each other questions to get to know each other.

"Roseluck, what do you think you will be doing when you grow up?" Lyra questioned the filly.

"Well, i think it will be what my parents think i should do," Roseluck said. "They want me to open a store at Ponyville".

"Well what about you, Lyra?" Carrot Top questioned the unicorn filly.

"Well, i just think about watching the show MLH: Technology is Science, I'm really focused with it and think of me as a special fan," Lyra said.

It wasn't just the show itself she liked. She felt connected to the characters themselves, almost as if she were to study them the rest of her life, needing to know everything about them.

The time the fillies spent together turned out to last a few hours, but after that, they all went home.

Lyra went into her bedroom. She were full of thoughts in her head. Neither Colgate or Roseluck earned their cutie marks today, but that didn't really matter much to them.

Lyra thought about the questions they asked together. She realized the interest she had for the show. She wasn't just a normal fan, but Lyra knew for sure that she were something more than that.

But would that define her future?
