A Trip To CloudsDale

The orange mare took in a deep breath feeling the wind rush though her coat. Her mane attempted to flow freely in the breeze, but it was tied down by the red ribbons wrapping around her straw locks. Up top her head an old Stetson held firm on to its owner complementing the three luscious apples on her flank. Applejack straightened her posture, adjusting the saddle bags up atop her lean back as she ran toward the doorbell to the most luscious mansion in Cloudsdale. Her stomach was filled to the brim with anxiety wondering if her best friend, Rainbow Dash was alright. After a few deep breaths she mare pressed the lightning bolt formed doorbell and hoped for the best.

It all started when the weather started going haywire in the small town of Ponyville. The sun would shine for one moment, and then there were tornado watch warnings! One of Cloudsdale's main weather workers Rainbow Dash was preparing a downpour, only to disappear for the next couple of days. Being one of her best pony pals, Applejack decided to visit the Pegasus and discover what was troubling her. After acquiring the spell that allowed her to walk on clouds from a certain alicorn princess friend and packing her saddlebags with supplies, Applejack was ready to discover the mystery of the disappeared pegasus.

Asking another favour from Twilight Sparkle, Applejack hoped into her hot air balloon that lifted slowly into the sky. Form down below Applejack could see Twilight widely mouthing good luck to her as Spike belched out a letter shouting it straight into her opened pie hole. The alicorn spit it out as she scolded him with her magic taking out her anger on him like a stress ball.

From up in the sky the cowmare could see all of Ponyville from her farm all the way towards the old abandon castle of the two princess sisters. The clouds peacefully rolled by as a swift breeze directed her straight towards her set out destination. She lowered the sandbags onto the plush cloud and with a bit of courage leaped on to the plush surface being shocked she didn't fall through.

Applejack gaped her mouth at the sight of the large structure in front of the home to her best friend. Large, sturdy clouds held firm the mansion with columns perfectly aligned as a spectrum of a liquid rainbow waterfall poured down over top. The cowmare had seen her friend's house before from the ground but she had never seen it up close from the clouds it stood upon. The orange mare couldn't wait to see the likely luscious interior imagining that of Celestia’s throne room.

Applejack rang the doorbell, then waited a few minutes, but there was no answer as the doorbell chime sounded through the palace.

“Rainbow it’s me Applejack, you in there?” the orange mare knocked her hoof on the polished door frame.

“Go a-away!” Applejack heard her friend shout in a muffled tone.

She knew the brash pegasus was stubborn and that she wasn’t getting anywhere unless she got underneath her skin.

“What if I told you I brought some sweet apple cider?” the earth pony bribed taking on a sultry tone.

“How in the hay did you even get up here? It doesn’t matter just…just get out!” Rainbow Dash snarled with a weak breath.

“That’s it, I’m breaking in!” Applejack firmly shouted as she attempted to buck down the door.

“Ahhh, do you know how expensive that door is? I got it from the Crystal Empire!” the cyan pegasus pleaded with sniffles throughout. “Fine, give me a minute I'll let you in.”

Before Rainbow Dash could say another word Applejack let out an accidental last kick mashing a hole through the center of the crystal door. Applejack sheepishly peaked inside only to meet the furious eyes of her friend from across the room. The pegasus cursed a few hushed words to herself as she limped towards the door.

Applejack tapped her hooves impatiently as she began to hear odd noises from the other side of the door as Rainbow had begun to unlock all the locks on the place. From what she could hear there was a padlock, hoof scanner, pass code, and security cameras. Knowing the one and only Rainbow Dash though Applejack could understand why she had such high security, even though it made her feel uneasy. Finally the last click was heard as the door swung itself open, Applejack entered the fancy mansion in the clouds. Tiled floor greeted her hooves as a statue of the wonderbolts stood in the center of the room made of soap stone. In the back was a trophy display of all of Rainbow’s medals, crowns, and memorabilia. Finally, a flat screen the size of Applejack’s dining room table hung above a plush cloud sofa where a more then blue looking Pegasus laid.

“What was that all about, you okay sugarcube?" Applejack raised her fore hoof reaching out to take the blanket that covered her friend with the wonderbolt logo on it.

“I’m fine, now just get…o..ou-t!" Rainbow Dash coughed as she let out a roaring sneeze knocking the blanket off of her, revealing her cold ridden body.

Rainbow Dash’s mane was tangled and messy along with her droopy tail. Her muzzle was a pale red and her eyes lost their gleam with large bags surrounding them. Tissues dirty and clean surrounded her along with empty take out containers of stir fry and pizza. Daring Do novels sprawled out on the coffee table in front of her with a glass of lemonade completing the picture.

“Oh honey your just sick, you had all of Ponyville worried!" Applejack chuckled to herself loving seeing her friend get worked up for nothing.

“Sick?" the blue mare scoffed," I’m more than just sick!” Rainbow attempted to speak as she ducked her head into a tissue. “I feel sleepy all the time, my muzzle is all stuffed, and I’m so bored!”

“Well why haven’t you told anyone?” Aj questioned plopping down on the plush couch with her friend.

“It’s so lame to be sick, makes me look weak and totally vulnerable!” Rainbow snarled wiping away a bubble of snot form her nose.

“Well that ain't nothing to lock down your house for, we all get the sick now and then shug!” Applejack played the optimism card getting a glare from Rainbow.

“You don’t understand, I have been stuck like this for days and nothing has helped me get better!” Rainbow Dash grumbled to

herself. “After I set up the storm clouds I got stuck in the downpour and now here I am being forced to feel miserable. I called Pinkie to help but all she did was fly her copter in front of my window and assaulted me with cupcakes, Twilight is too busy being a princess, Rarity is well…Rarity, and Fluttershy was barely able to knock on my door!”

“Well then what is your take on getting better, shoving boxed food down your throat as you roll around on a couch full of goopy tissues?” the cowmare sneered knowing the pegasus' lack of logic.

“What else am I supposed to do?!” Rainbow coughed harshly as she took a sip of the drink before her.

“Go see a doctor perhaps?” Applejack sighed stating the obvious.

“Gah no, I will look like a total shrimp!” The cyan mare raised her squawky voice as a smirk adorned her pale face. “But, I know someone who can make me feel at least a bit more...comfortable.”

Applejack shrank back into herself as she knew who the pegasus was referring to. As Rainbow began to seductively stare at the poor earth pony.

“I guess that’s why I came up here sugercube,I uh…what would you like?” Aj asked with a hint of worry in her eyes.

“Hmm, well let’s start off with your look!” Rainbow Dash grinned enjoying her new found power. “Head up to my room and put on what’s in the box underneath my bed okay?”

The pegasus waved her hoof sending Applejack away as the thought of something under a pony’s bed scared the cowmare to pieces. On the way to the spiral staircase the orange pony plopped her saddle bags off in Rainbow’s once stunning kitchen that had turned into an absolute pigsty, giving off a strange odor that wrapped around Applejack’s nostrils.

The orange mare trotted up the shining stairs that reflected Applejack's face as she continued up the swirling steps till the top. She walked through the long hallway that was adorned with framed pictures of Rainbow Dash and her accomplishments. At the end was a bathroom and to the right finally was the room to the famous pegasus. Her bed was made of more plush clouds with her cutie mark stitched onto her bed covers. A grand bookcase stood beside it holding every Daring Do novel imaginable along with flying tricks and an autograph book from the Wonderbolts. Across her bed frame Applejack turned and opened the closet viewing many of Rainbow’s outfits from her gala dress to her favorite sunglasses.

After admiring the decked out room, the earth pony simply glanced down and dug through the mounds of dirty clothes until she found the box Rainbow described under the personalized bed. With a swift tug applejack lifted the lid and gasped in astonishment, grabbing the strange outfit and went to change regretfully. She knew if she didn't participate in Rainbow’s stubborn game that she would be shut out and perhaps never let Aj help her recover from her sickness. This wasn't the first time Dash had pushed her to her utter most limits, but sometimes for her it was fun to see how far her mind would let her go to participate in Rainbow’s games until she snapped. Regardless she would keep her mind set on making Rainbow Dash feel better, no matter what it took.

Rainbow Dash yawned blowing her nose once or twice trying to keep warm, tucking herself into her childhood blanket. At long last she heard some hooves trotting down the staircase as her eyes widened at what she had done. Applejack came in, forcefully strutting wearing a laced up maids outfit accompanied with an apron, stockings, black pumps and a small bonnet that lay across her blonde mane.

“Hahaha, oh my gosh! I can’t believe you put it on, you’re the best AJ!” Rainbow Dash laughed as she sprawled across her couch giggling at her accomplishment.

“Rainbow Dash…why in Celestia’s name do you even have something like this!” Applejack mumbled feeling the heat of embarrassment rush to her cheeks.

“Well sometimes a pony has to have some pleasure, and sometimes those ponies who want to be pleasured like to play pretend with me.” Rainbow Dash squeaked rubbing the back of her head nervously. “Anyway, you wanted to make me feel better so you’re going to serve my every command. To start off why not fetch me a milkshake with a side of medicine please.”

“Wh-What? N-no you get it yourself!” Applejack fought back as she adjusted the odd garment on herself.

“I can’t Jackie don’t you remember, I’m sick!” Rainbow Dash sighed forcing a few coughs dramatically raising her hoof to her forehead.

Applejack still stared dumbfounded at what she had gotten herself into, and at that moment she knew this was going to be a very, very long day.
