Chapter 4 The Mark Inside

Twilight says “We should move on before something shows up.” Fluttershy says “What about Angel?” “I can’t just leave him like that.” Thunderstorm says “I got it Flutter.” “Yall can go.” “I’ll take care of Angel.” Rainbow Dash says “What about me?” Thunderstorm says “Ratchet carry her.” Ratchet says “Are you crazy?!” “She’ll break my back!!” Rainbow Dash says “Excuse me?” Thunderstorm says “Well if your to weak to carry a mare then…” Ratchet says “No.” “I’ll carry her.” Ratchet puts her on his back and barely

stands up. Thunderstorm says “Be a stallion.” David says “We don’t have your strength Thunder.” “We’re not sons of a Dark King.” Thunderstorm says “No excuses.” “Now get out of here.” They all leave. Thunderstorm looks at Angel and says “Goodbye my friend.” Angel catches on fire and it spreads to the walls. Thunderstorm says “No pony will miss this place.” He leaves the cottage and catches up to the others. Fluttershy says “You buried him that fast?” Thunderstorm says “Um….yep.” “Magic is great to have.” He

smiles at her. She smiles back and says “Thanks Thunder….for always being there.” Thunderstorm frowns and says “Sure Flutter.” David says “What’s wrong?” Thunderstorm says “Nothing.” Applejack says “Is that smoke?” Thunderstorm says “Don’t be crazy.” David says “Uh guys.” Thunderstorm says “What?” David says “We’re still miles from the marker right?” Thunderstorm says “Twilight?” Twilight says “Yep.” “Why?” David points forward and says “That’s why.” They all look forward. a few feet away from them. Thunderstorm says “Buck there’s two.” “I’ll take care of it.” SHING!! Armor appears on Thunderstorm’s wings. He starts walking to the marker. Princess Luna steps in front of him. Thunderstorm stops and says “Mother?” Princess Luna says “Why did you let me die?” Thunderstorm says “You’re dead?” Princess Luna says “I would’ve come to you if I wasn’t!” “You know I’m dead!!” “Why did you let me die?!!” Thunderstorm says “I’m sorry mother.” “I didn’t know what was going on.” Tears

go down his cheeks. He says “I didn’t know that you needed me.” Rainbow Dash says “What is going on?” “Luna isn’t there.” David says “Oh buck.” “Thunderstorm!!” BOOM!!! Thunderstorm faints. David says “Oh no.” Rainbow Dash says “What is going on?!!!” David says “You might want to sit down before I tell you and try to stay calm since you’re pregnant.” Rainbow Dash sits down and says “I’am calm.” “Now tell me before I break your face.” David says “You are Thunderstorm’s wife.” Rainbow Dash smiles and says

Her eyes glowing and says “Don’t worry son.” “We will be whole soon.” Thunderstorm says “Huh?” “M…Mother?” “What are you doing?” She grabs his neck and says “Making us whole.” Thunderstorm says “Mother….I can’t breathe.” “Mother….Mother please.” Princess Luna says

David says “And that’s it.” Rainbow Dash says “Oh Luna.” “Please make it Thunder.” Pinkie Pie says “The blue thing on Thundy’s back is now yellow and dropping.” “It changes colors!” “Cool!!” David says “What?!!” Rainbow Dash says “What’s wrong?” David says “It’s his health!” “It’s dropping!!” “He’s dying!!” Rainbow Dash says “What?!!!” In Thunderstorm’s head. Princess Luna screams “Raaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!” She lets go out of pain. Thunderstorm says “Get out of my heeeeeeead!!!” SHING!! He stabs his armor through her chest. Back to David and Rainbow Dash. Thunderstorm’s eyes slowly open and he stands up but stumbles. Applejack catches him and says “Whoa partner.” “Just slow down.” “You’ve been through quite a rodeo.” Rainbow Dash runs to him and

hugs him and says “Thunderstorm!!!” She kisses him and says “I’m so glad you’re ok.” “I was so worried.” “Your health was dropping.” Thunderstorm shakes his head and says “I’m…I’m fine Dashy.” She smiles and hugs him. Thunderstorm thinks “I saw Aunt Celestia behind mother.” “I’m alone….the last of the royal family.” “My family is gone.” “Father is probably dead to but my reason to fight and keep on is hugging me now.” “Together we stand and together we rise.” Thunderstorm says “David.”

David says “Yeah?” Thunderstorm says “I’ve done enough for one day.” “You can destroy the marker.” David says “Ok.” Fluttershy says “No.” David says “I’ll be fine.” “Don’t worry.” He starts walking to the marker. David says “Cheerilee?” Cheerilee says “You hug them and look at me like you care about us.” Tears go down her cheeks and she says “But you let them die and you….shot me.” “Ha huh.” “I thought you loved me.” “We had four kids together.” “The way you held me and looked at me.” David says “I do love you but you were gone and you were about to kill Thunderstorm, Sweetie Belle, and Rainbow Dash.” “I had no choice and I couldn’t get to you kids.” “I’m so sorry.” Cheerilee walks up to him and says “Do you

want us back?” David says “More than anything.” Cheerilee’s and the kids eyes glow and they say “Then make us whole again.” The kids squeeze tighter and tighter. David says “I…can’t….breathe.” Cheerilee says “You want to join us.” “Just hold still my love.” “We’ll be whole soon.” David’s bones start cracking. David screams “AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!” Back to Thunderstorm and Fluttershy. Fluttershy says “His health is dropping!!” Thunderstorm says “Dang it

the ground an inch from Ratchet’s neck. Thunderstorm’s eyes glow red and he looks in Ratchet’s eyes and says “I dare you to finish that sentence.” Ratchet closes his mouth. Thunderstorm says “Thought so.” SHING!! Thunderstorm pulls his armor out of the ground and walks away from Ratchet. Fluttershy says “David’s health is blinking red!!!” Thunderstorm says “He’ll make it.” “He has to.” In David’s head. David says “Let…..go…….of………me.” Cheerilee smiles. David barely manages to pull out his plasma

cutter. POW!! Sourcan goes down. POW!! POW!! POW!! Beryllee, Sandstorm, and Cheryl go down. David takes in big gulps of air. Cheerilee says “Raaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!” David points the plasma cutter at her. Cheerilee says “You’re going to shoot all of us because you don’t care about us.” “We’re your family and you let us die.” “You cold hearted monster.” Tears go down David’s cheeks and he says “Just….go away!!!” POW!! Fluttershy. Fluttershy says “Please.” Thunderstorm says “Wake up.” David’s eyes slowly open and he tries to stand up but falls back down. Fluttershy runs to him and says “David.” David smiles and says “Heh.” “Hey Fluttershy.” Fluttershy kisses and hugs him. Thunderstorm says “Twilight.” Twilight says “I’m on it.” She runs to David and uses a medical kit on him. His health goes back to full. Thunderstorm smiles and says “Thank you Twily.” Twilight smiles and says “Happy to Thunder.” Thunderstorm walks up

to David and says “Cheerilee?” David nods and says “Our kids to.” Thunderstorm says “I wish I could’ve helped you.” David says “I know.” “Ow.” Thunderstorm hits David’s shoulder and says “That’s for scaring all of us.” David smiles and says “Sorry.” Thunderstorm says “I don’t need to lose one  of my best friends.” A voice says “Best friend!” “That role is already taken Thunder and you know it.” Thunderstorm says “Firefly?” Firefly smiles and says “Hey Thunder.” Thunderstorm says “Is it really you?” Firefly says

“It’s really me.” “Aint no stupid aliens killing me.” “Not easily that is.” He laughs. Thunderstorm says “Aint that the truth.” They both laugh. They do a secret hand shake then hug. Firefly says “So how is my best friend?” “Still causing trouble wherever he goes I’m guessing.” Thunderstorm says “Pretty much.” They both laugh again. Thunderstorm smiles and says “it’s good to have you back Fire.” Firefly smiles and says “It’s good to have you back to Thunder.” “Is Applejack with yall?” Thunderstorm says “Right

over there partner.” Firefly says “Thanks bro.” Firefly walks to Applejack. Applejack says “Firefly!” She hugs him. Firefly hugs her back and smiles and says “Hey cowgirl.” Applejack says “What about Jam Apple and Applesauce?” Firefly says “We were attacked and….I tried my best but…..ha huh……they’re dead.” “They told me to run.” “That I couldn’t save them.” Tears go down Firefly’s and Applejack’s cheeks. Firefly says “I wanted to stay….to die with them but….I remembered you and I knew I couldn’t

do that to you so I ran….to find you.” “They died fighting cowgirl.” “You’d be proud.” Applejack cries into his chest. Firefly holds her. Thunderstorm looks at them then at Rainbow Dash. She’s rubbing her belly. She looks at him and smiles. He smiles back and thinks “I will do everything to protect her.” “They won’t take my family from me.” End of Chapter 4
