Wow, I can't stop thinking about that new mare that moved in across the street from your apartment. I found out that her name is Ice and that mane and coat really represents her name. A mixture of black and white with a bright white coat like fluffy snow. Anyways, I find myself again staring out my second story window at her leaving for work once again. Never being able to even just say hi to her when I cross paths on the street, or anywhere... I'm a little shy... okay, scratch that, VERY shy. My name is BlueFire, I'm just your average Pegasus. A nice blue coat with a light green mane, I make it look like that one DJ's mane, Vinyl Scratch. I sigh and start to get ready for work. I leave for work a few minutes later and go throughout my day, just a normal day, boring as usual. after work I get home exhausted and go straight to bed, at least tomorrow is Saturday, my only day off. I sleep for a few hours before waking up in the early afternoon. I slowly get out of bed and into the kitchen, sit down and make myself a small breakfast. After maybe a half an hour there is a knock on the front door, probably another door-to-door pony trying to get me to buy something Either way, I get up and make my way over to the door and take a peek through the peephole. I see the black and white mare that you watch every morning. I quickly back away from the door and try to think why reasons she would be on the other side of your door, I start to panic if I should open the door and talk to her or pretend I'm not home. Another glance through the peephole just to make sure it was her. Yes, it is defiantly her. I could tell by her nice blue eyes. Taking a big gulp I slowly unlock the door and crack it open, looking through the crack at her. She notices and look back at me "um, hello?" she says quietly but just enough for you to hear her. Her voice is soft and gentle, a little bit like Fluttershy's but a little different. "H-hi..." I manage to choke up.

"sorry to bother you, but I was wondering if you had any sugar. I know how stupid that sound but the market is pretty far.. and I've noticed you a few times in the mornings when I'm going to work." My face goes slightly red, but she doesn't seem to notice. I nod in acceptance and trot back into the kitchen and take out a small container and fill it about half way with sugar and take it back

over to the door. "oh thank you, it really means a lot" she says as she takes the small box. "here, take this" she opens a small saddle  on her side with her mouth and put the sugar in and takes out a small bag that jingles slightly, obviously being a bag of bits. "Oh... umm.." She places the bag in my hoof, still holding out from giving her the sugar, I look down at it and by the weight it feels like about 10 bits. "I can't take this..." you extend your hoof back over to her. "No, I insist." "No, really I don't need it" You step a little closer to her and put the bag back into her saddle. She looks back at you for a moment before giving you a slightly smile. I slowly smile back at her. "Thanks again, you are really nice" "Anytime." I quickly respond. She trots down the hallway and down the stairs. I close the door and smile again "I think I'm in love..."
