Merciful Beats

That rythm, the beat, this beautiful music, where is it coming from? Then, I wake up.

"Ugh my fucking head!" I reach up and rub the top of my head feeling a bump.

"Yup, definatly got a not." I look around to see a forest...WHAT IN THE GOD DAMNED FUCK?! Why the hell am I in a forest!? I jump up and hit an object, this making me fall staright back down onto my ass. FUCK THAT I hold my head and sit there for what seems like hours.

Ok so first why am I in a forest...thinking..thinking...nope got nothing. I stand up avoiding the branch I hit my head on. Second, why in the fuck does this forest look so...creepy. I shiver. I might as well call for help.

"HELLO?! ANYONE OUT THERE?" Wait..there could be predators out here..I should shut the fuck up. I hear a rustling sound. shit! I instantly run towards anywhere as long as its away from the rustling.

"wait." A soft quiet whisper. I turn and look to see bush that slowly brustled. "Wut?" I thought to myself did that bush just-

"I wont hurt you." The bush spoke again.

"As fucking if!" Fuck that dude a talking bush? Just where the fuck am I? I turn and ran only succeeding in getting my face pelted with another branch. I fell on my back onto something sharp and yelped out.

"H-help!" I don't know exactly what or who I was hoping for I just needed help desperately.  My vision begins to darken around the edges of my eyes. I see a yellow blur looking at me. "What in the fuck are you?". Darkness.

"What are you?" It spoke back to me.

Where am I? Woah spooky I can hear my own thoughts like an echo...echo..heh. Is this a dream..or am I dead. Wait...I remember falling onto something sharp...bleeding. Yup I'm dead, well that was a bad way to go out. Falling on a sharp rock? A stick? I dunno but that has to suck. Bum badum bum bum.

"He can talk I'm telling you Rainbow Dash, believe me!" That voice...THAT BUSH! But wait it wasn't a bush was it...it was someone, something that was hiding inside the bush. Something yellow.

"I dont know what it is looks like some sort of hairless monkey." A new voice...WAIT ARE THEY TALKING ABOUT ME?!

"We need to get him to a hospital or something Dash."

"He is a wild animal right? Well aren't you good at taking care of animals?"

Hey wait...if I can hear them..does that mean I'm alive? Wait, am I hearing them in my sleep, or..am I awake. MAYBE I AM DYING? I can hear a gentle beat in the back of my head. Bum budum bum bum.

"Hey look at him, he is moving!" I was trying to open my eyes but I couldn't seem to.

"My eyes! What did you do?" I lifted my hands to feel my eyes but was stopped by something soft that was covering my face. Is this a pillow? I lifted it off. GOD DAMN MY EYES! The light blinded me, my eyes were still adjusting.

"Woah, he really does talk." I looked towards the voice only to see a rainbow maned pony with big magenta eyes.

"What in the fuck? Are you talking?" A talking pony..but wait that was wrong, I looked at her sides....wings. Fucking wings! It's a pegasus! Holy shit!

"And you have wings!" And what the hell was that on its ass?

"Well yeah, what have you never seen a pegasus before?" It had a girly voice that sounded a bit gruff. Forced perhaps?

"Fuck no!"

"What does fuck mean dash? He has been saying that a lot now." A quieter voice I turn to look at the feminine voice. Annnd theres another but she is yellow instead of the cyan one that stood on the other side of the room.

"Where am I?"

"Fluttershy's home." The cyan pegasus gestured to the yellow pegasus that was now hiding away from me.

"More specific like what state?" The cyan pegasus looked confused.

"County?" Same look.

"Country?" Same look still.

"What do you call this place I am at?"

"Equestria, duh." She told me this as if I would know about this place.

"Uh, where?"

"Equestria...you know where you were born."

"I am not from here!"

"Wooooah does that mean he is some sort of alien?"

"I guess?" Does that mean I am on another planet? No! That cant be!

"I have to get out of here!" I tried to get up.

"D-dont move! " her voice was almost as soft as her gentle pink mane.

"No I gotta get the fuck out of here!" I raised up and PAIN! It shoved me back down to where I was. Great. I look down to my side where it felt like fire. Bandages were wrapped around my entire waist and the bottom right of my hip had a dark maroon splotch coloring the bandages.

"Stay still!" And like that the yellow pegasus was upon me checking out my entire body, I put my head down and looked off to the side of the bed that I was laying on. Hmm they put me in a bed..they have beds..how odd. But anyways there were my clothes. My black hoodie, my dark blue denim jeans, my Nike tennis shoes and even my camo boxers. My cheeks slightly felt warm. They undressed me?

"He has a blush on his cheeks, is he sick?" The cyan pegasus looked at my with her head cocked to the side.

"No I'm fine!" I was blushing.

"No lay back and relax, You're hurt and I will help you, please you have to trust me!" Her voice was slightly louder but now it contained sincerity. I nodded to her. I relaxed and shut my eyes. I have a lot to think about now.

She began to work on my bandages but I kept my eyes shut, I didn't need to see the damage, I am pretty sure it will leave a bad ass scar though.

First, Pegasi are common here, in Equestria? Second, they talk. Third, I am in another planet? Another dimension? All that mattered is that I was no longer in Earth. Fourth, I have no way back home so there goes that. Fifth, I can barely even remember home. And finally...what is that rhythm I keep hearing? Bum budum bum bum.

It was the next day, in the morning if I had to guess..i could hear the birds chirping...playing there music as loud as they can. Even in this world birds still made there happy music. A knock on the door.

"Come in?" It was more of a question then an actual answer.

The door opened and out came the yellow pegasus named Fluttershy but I call her Shy for short. She looked inside the room, her face was hidden behind her own hair.

"So...uh-uh youre gonna be find mister?" She hang on to the last word, I guess she wanted my name...wait what was my name. Uh...shit. I cant remember, I am unknown even to myself...an anonymous human..I am anon.

"Anon." She squeed..like an actual sound..kinda cute, as she squeed her hair fell out of place revealing her face she, she was smiling. She looked so excited.

"Ok Anon, my friend Twilight is coming over to see you, she wants to know what you are."

"I am a human." She looked confused.

"Just wait till she gets here ok then explain it all to her." I nodded to Fluttershy.

An hour later I was staring at a purple unicorn named Twilight. A. Fucking. UNICORN!

"So you're telling me you're from another planet, you're the only kind of race here in Equestria and you have no idea what this place is?" I nodded to her.

"In my world we had legands about the kind of things that live here...Unicorns..Pegasi. All legend..all little kids tails." I was staring at her horn. This was all so much to me, way to quickly, my brain was having difficulty processing it all.

Not to long after talking to Twilight she began to give me a lecture about this world. About there cutie marks, there history, there Princesses, how they raise the sun, moon, and all of the stars. Crazy. After many hours of brain fucking Twilight finally took a break.

"So do you think you have a decent understanding of our world." I nodded to save my brain from turning to mush.

"Great! Now I must go back home its getting late. I looked outside and it was already dark...holy fuck I spent the hole day learning about another world, I didn't even notice that hours have blown right past me.

"Is it ok if he stays here with you Fluttershy?" The yellow pegasus nodded.

"Perfect! So tomorrow I will bring my friends and we shall teach you all about Equestria! Don't worry though we ponies are all very accepting.

"Yeah, sounds good." I sighed, the purple unicorn turned away and headed for the door.

"Hey Twilight....thanks for helping me fit in." I smiled at her and she returned it then left.

I couldn't sleep but on the good news the fiery pain has now subsided to a dull throbbing, I dint know what Fluttershy did but damn was it working. I kept tossing and turning slowly on the bed, my feet hung off the end but I don't mind, the fact that she didn't even know who or what I am and yet she still wanted to help me. If it wasn't for her I would probably still be lost in that forest.

I smiled to myself. "Thanks Fluttershy." A squeak.

I looked out into the darkness of the room. "Hello? Is someone in the room?"

"I-I'm sorry, I was just checking up on you." Her voice was quivering a bit.

"No problem and thank you for being here and helping me out it really means a lot to me."

"O-oh." Sounded like I hit a soft spot.

"Are you ok?"

"Yeah, it just. Nopony ever thanks me for anything I ever do." There was a hint of sadness and yet she still seemed to be happy.

"It sounds like they should."

"Hey um...Anon?"

"Yeah 'Shy?"

"C-can I sleep in here with you..Justtomakesureyouwillbeok!" I laughed and felt her withdraw a bit.

"Of course you can." Look at me talking to this pegasus as if she was a long friend.

"yay." Oh. My. God. That was adorable.

She walked up next to me and looked at the bed.

"U-uh where should I?"

"Anywhere as long as it doesn't hurt too bad." I gave her a friendly smile. She got on the bed and laid upon my legs.

I closed my eyes and began drifting into sleep, a calm dreamless sleep...but there it is again. Bum budum bum bum.

And so thats how I Anon, arrived at this magical place called Equestria. Where unicorns use there horns to move things, teleport, and even cast spells. Where pegasi flew up high into the skies and controlled the wheather. Where ponies made food for all. Where there are talking animals and monsters. Here these ponies would gladly invite a stranger into there own homes just to talk. So trusting, so sociable. Maybe this was better than where I came from...but still something seemed to be missing.
