Epigraph : A Timeline

Before I delve any further along my life's story, I would like to explain something to the reader.

I would like you to know, this journal entry is for clarification purposes only. Skipping it will not subtract from my life's' account.

First off, I would like to iterate that I have lived for more than eighteen thousand years. In contrast, Celestia and her sister Luna have lived for a mere nine thousand or so.

With that fact now firmly established, I now feel the need to summarize the relative direction this epic timeline is going to take. This trope will allow readers to wrap their mortal minds around just long my life really is.

So far, I have segregated my life into precisely 18 sections. Each one is 1000 years in duration, and I will refer to each of them as Epochs; by the nomenclature of: 1st Epoch, 2nd Epoch, 3rd Epoch, 4th Epoch, etc. I have labeled each one with its own unique title, according to the events that transpired during it's duration. I will now list them; including sub divisions of time (estimated):

1st Epoch - The Kindling of New Fire

2nd Epoch - The Age of Adolescence

6th Epoch - Age of Warring Nations

7th Epoch - The Fall of Civilization

Triumph (300 yrs) | Entry into the Last Song (700 yrs)

8th Epoch - The Last Song

9th Epoch - Age of Silence
