"Erased Shadows" is starring Star Wish, a pony with metal parts, in his journey to discover who he is, who he was, and who he's meant to be as he finds himself in Equestria, soon to be guided by the Princesses and the many creatures of Equestria including Spike, the Mane 6, Prince Shining Armor, the Cutie Mark Crusaders, Derpy, DJ Pon3, Zecora, Discord, and even the long gone Snowdrop.
Snowdrop speaks to him in his dreams. He hears her sweet voice when danger is near. She sings him to sleep. Star Wish wonders who she is and why she helps him. But what he wonders most: is he a regular pony or is he her?
Rainbow Dash is beautiful. She reminds him of an old friend. He feels something warm and gentle when he is around her. He wonders if love is real. He wonders if love is what he feels. Can a pony with a metal heart feel and love?
Prince Shining Armor terrifies him. And it's more than just sibling protection. Star Wish feels scars he does not remember. Every second near Shining Armor makes him nervous and frightened. He can only hope that unknown wounds will not open again.
Princess Luna is his eyes when he cannot see, his ears when he cannot hear, his voice when he cannot speak, his wings when he cannot fly, his legs when he cannot walk, and his heart when he cannot feel. She cares about him as deeply as Princess Celestia cares for Twilight, if not more, all the way from the beginning to the end and beyond. Nopony except Princess Celestia knows and understands why. After all, Star Wish reminds the two princesses of a filly they once knew thousands of years ago…
Slowly, long forgotten creatures are rising to take the world once more. Star Wish sees them everywhere he goes, but he doesn't see the truth of these malicious sights. He's desperate to understand, as are the other ponies, but…you can't see the starry sky when there are no stars.
Darkness lives in every shadow, but every shadow is formed by light. Secrets lie in Star Wish's heart, hiding the past that was his. His life will slowly crumble away with his foundation missing. Unless he can find his purpose, Star Wish will fade away…a star blinked out and just a simple wish that once was.
