My Little Final Destination
After Vision
Previous ChapterNext ChapterHere's the second remade chapter. Enjoy...I guess.
Suddenly, a bright flash blinded me for only a split second. I blinked for a few seconds. What just happened?
"Y-You did that on purpose, didn't you?" I heard a voice next to me. Wait, I know that.
I quickly looked to my left. Twilight was...sitting next to me?
Was I just...dreaming? I couldn't have...it felt so real...maybe...maybe it wasn't a dream. Maybe it was a sign. A sign to get off.
I quickly looked out my window. Luckily, we were still at the train station. I began to sweat. If that vision's coming true, I'm not sticking around here to wait.
"Thunder? Are you okay?" Twilight asked next to me.
I quickly looked at her.
"C'mon, Twilight. We're getting off," I said to her.
"What? Why?"
My voice became shaky for a moment. "The train's gonna crash."
"What?" Twilight became confused. "Thunder, you're scaring me."
I quickly unbuckled my seatbelt and got up. Once I was in the aisle, I quickly unbuckled Twilight's seatbelt, and grabbed her hoof.
"Hey! Thunder! Let go of me!" Twilight yelled to me, before slapping my hoof, causing me to let go of her.
I looked back to her. "We need to get off now, Twilight," I said, nearly yelling.
"Thunder," Twilight looked into my eyes, "I'm worried about you. Please, just...tell me what's going on."
After she said that, two train officers walked into the cabin.
"Is everything alright in here?" One of them asked.
I quickly walked to them.
"Sir, we need to get everypony off this train."
One of the officers put their hooves on my shoulders. "Sir, why don't you just sit back do-"
I cut him off by hitting his hooves off of my shoulders.
"No, I will not sit down! These ponies are in grave danger! I saw it! I saw the train crash! It fell off the mountain-side! The cabin exploded! Everypony died! I saw it!" I yelled in his face.
"Sir, I will remove you from this train if you do not calm down!"
"Why won't you listen to me?! I'm trying to warn you here!"
Finally, the officers grabbed and dragged me out of the train. The whole time, I was yelling to the passengers to get off the train. They didn't bother listening to me.
A few minutes later, I was placed into the lobby of the train station. The train sat just outside the large window.
"Don't move," one of the officers said to me.
"Sir, you don't understand! That train's going to crash!"
"That train is one of the most safest moving locomotives in Equestria. It is perfectly safe."
After that, the officers headed out the door we came in. However, one officer stood next to the door. I just eyed him for a moment.
I sighed and slumped in my seat. As I did, I could hear the whistle of the train, and I saw it start up.
Wait, am I forgetting something?
I gasped. Twilight! They're still on the train!!
Just then, the doors of the lobby opened up. I looked to see Twilight and the others standing there, looking at me.
I quickly ran to Twilight and hugged her tightly.
"Oh, thank Celestia you're okay!" I said to her.
Twilight didn't reply. Instead, she gently pushed me away and looked at me.
"What happened back there?" She asked, looking at me like I was a complete stranger to her. I don't blame her. It's not everyday your boyfriend - excuse me, stallionfriend - suddenly says he has a dream about a train crash.
Slowly, I head back to the seat I sat in and sat back down. I was silent for a few moments before I finally spoke up.
"I...had this...dream...or premonition...vision...whatever you want to call it. Anyway, it was about us. And the train. Something happened, and the train..." I paused, "the train crashed. I don't know how, or why, all I know is that the train crashed with us on it, and we all...died."
Rarity was the first to respond to me.
"Darling, it was simply a dream. There's no need to get riled up about it."
"But...it felt so real. Not real like a lucid dream or anything, but it felt like I was actually awake," I responded to her.
I stopped and remembered what I thought earlier.
"What if...what if it isn't a dream? What if it was a warning? A warning to me?"
It became silent as the girls exchanged glances.
Suddenly, laughter broke out as they all laughed at my question.
"Oh-ho, man! That is the most redic-" Rainbow was cut off.
*CRASH!*
The windows of the station lobby all shatter, causing us to cover ourselves and scream.
"What was that!" Twilight demanded to know.
We then looked out the window. Our eyes widened, Rarity began to tear up, and I sat there speechless.
The train, not too far from the station, was burning and falling down the hill at a high speed. Flames completely scorched the train, possibly from an explosion in the cabin.
While we saw it falling, we all sat there, speechless.
After a few moments of silence, Rainbow Dash managed to ask me a question I still haven't yet answered...
"How did you know?"
Short, yes, but it's better than the original chapter. I critique my own stories. But hey, don't we all?
All I gotta say at the moment.
Oh yeah, in English class today, we watched WALL-E. We're looking for how it relates to "The Last Book in the Universe."
:D I'm the most random brony you'll ever meet. EVER.
