Chapters "F?! How did I get an F!? Oh, hi there. What? N-no! Please-help! AAAAAAHHHHHHH!" Twilight screamed, jolting awake from her troublesome slumber. "Phew, just a nightmare." She said, wiping her forehead with her front hoof.
She tried to go back to sleep, but so many thoughts were stirring in her mind. Different parts of the nightmare flashed through her mind and she tried to push them away, but failed. Giving a distressed groan, she got up out of bed and began to go downstairs toward the kitchen to get a glass of water. As she lifted the glass to her mouth, her eyes widened and she froze. Dropping the glass, she stared at her hoof in terror. It was just a lavender outline, black inside. As she looked closer, she realized that the inside wasn't just black, it was hollow. She was just an outline. She tried to touch her arm, but her hoof went straight through the black. She yelped in horror, hyperventilating and sobbing as the world around her began to deteriorate into pitch black emptiness. Fog came from her eyes, vanishing as soon as it appeared. Fog formed underneath her hooves and rose up to her knees.
She could hear the word "magic" echo around her once, before there was complete silence. Realization overcame her as she sat, defeated. It wasn't a nightmare after all. Tears began to stream down her cheeks. She was empty. She was a failure. She was soulless.

"Here you go Angel Bunny, a nice, jucy carrot." Fluttershy said, placing a carrot in front of Angel.
He pushed it away. Fluttershy suggested a few more things.
"What do you want? Some fresh berries? Lettuce?" Angel just thumped his foot. "I don't understand. Wait...I don't understand. I can't understand you! Angel? What are you doing? Angel no! Stop it! PLEASE STOP! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!"
At that moment she woke, breathing rapidly. She brushed it off as just a bad dream and decided to check on Angel. when she got downstairs, she looked around in the living room. There, what she saw horrified her. Angel was eating the remains of what looked like...Fluterhy's body! But...Fluttershy was right there. She stared at Angel, unable to speak or even scream. She looked at herself, but saw not the pastel yellow fur, but outlines. Her mane, tail, eyes, and cutie mark were the same. Her eyes had no pupils and there was fog flowing from them. She was terrified as hell as the world around her dissolved into never ending black nothing. Smoke came up around her legs. She curled up and sobbed as the word "kindness" echoed around her.
She was lost. She was forever quiet. She was soulless.

"Are you enjoying the party?" Pinkie asked a pony in a hyper tone.
"Sorry to say this Pinkie, but the party's a little bland. Why don't you try spicing things up a bit. Try something new." The pony repllied, as politely as she could manage.
"O-oh, um, o-ok, I'll try to improve." Pinkie said, disappointed.
Well, what was one pony? Maybe the others were enjoying it. She asked a few more ponies, but got the same response every time. When she was sure she'd asked everypony, she went upstairs.
"They're right you know. Your parties are lame." A voice in her head stated.
"N-no they aren't! I just need to try some new techniques, that's all!" Pinkie said back to the voice.
"Face it Pinkie. You'll never be as good as Cheese Sandwich, or anypony for that matter. Get your head out of the clouds and find something you're actually good at. If you can!" The voice taunted her mercilessly.
"Stop!" Pinkie demanded.
The voice began to laugh hysterically. Then more and more voices joined in. The laughing grew louder and louder and more insane by the second.
"Please just make it stop! Please please please please please!" Pinkie sobbed, but it grew louder. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!"
Pinkie Pie woke up terrified. The voices were now gone, and she was alone in her room. It was just a nightmare. She didn't speak, but had a very confused expression laid across her face. She was curious about the nightmare.
She walked downstairs to get a snack; nightmares tend to make her hungry. As she reached a hoof out to open the fridge, her jaw dropped and she froze. Her hoof was black, with just a light pink outline around it. That was what her whole body looked like, including her mane, tail, eyes, and cutie mark. She was shocked and confused; her body was completely hollow! How could she be alive? Was she even alive at all?!
She shook her head, knocking herself out of her daze. She looked to her left, where she thought she'd seen something. Or somepony to be exact. As she looked though, the world around her turned as black as her hollow body. She began to grasp what was happening. Her hair flattened out and she sat. A few tears ran down her face and she began to sob quietly. She could barely hear the word "laughter" echo around her.
She wasn't happy. She wasn't excited. She was soulless.
"No-wait! I can do better I swear! Please no no NO! AAAAAAAHHHHHH!" Rainbow Dash screamed, waking up in a cold sweat and breathing heavily.
It was just another nightmare. Rainbow took a deep breath and brushed it off. But something just didn't feel right. She slipped out of bed onto the soft, cloudy floor, barely making a sound against the soft white puff.
She walked into the bathroom and looked into the mirror. What she saw devastated her. In the mirror was her reflection, but hollow. Just the cyan and rainbow outlines remained, leaving pitch black emptiness inside. Her eyes were the same violet color, but had a transparent, ghostly white fog flowing from them, and there were no pupils.
"N-no. It can't be-it can't...No!" Dash sobbed as the world around her turned as black as her hollow reflection. The same fog appeared around her, reaching up to her knees. She got up, tears still streaming down her face, and looked around. Everything was black and empty. There was nothing. The word 'loyalty' echoed around her quietly for a short second. She stared, defeated. She was gone. She was nonexistent. She was soulless.

Hope you liked the first chapter! :D
"Why isn't the fire department here yet?!" Applejack exclaimed, terrified.
"Ah don't know, but the flame's spreadin' awful quick!" Apple Bloom cautioned, jumping away from the flame.
"C'mon ya'll we gotta get outta here!" AJ said, leading her family to the door.
Suddenly, a plank of wood fell from the ceiling. Flames erupted in front of Bic Macintosh and Granny Smith, blocking their path.
"Granny! Mac!" AB and AJ screamed, tearing up.
"Just go, before the flames catch up!" Granny yelled.
"EEYUP!" Big Mac agreed.
Apple Bloom and Applejack ran, the fire chasing them like a bullet. They ran out the front door as fast as they could, flames right behind them. Apple Bloom's hoof got stuck behind one of the steps and she tripped, breaking her leg. She let out a howl of pain, alerting her sister. She tried to run back to the steps and help her sister up, but the flames caught up before she could reach her, engulfing the poor young filly. A long, bloodcurdling scream was all that came from the flames as Apple Bloom was burned alive.
"Apple Bloom! No! Nooo-o-o-ooooo!" Applejack sobbed.
When the flames got to her, she didn't try to run. She let them burn her as she sobbed, defeated. It was as if she couldn't feel anything.
All of a sudden, she woke up. She was too tired to open her eyes at that second. After a few minutes, she finally did. She gasped at what she saw. Everything was burned. Nothing remained but ashes. It wasn't a nightmare. It was all real. As Applejack began to raise her hooves to her face to sob, she froze. Her hooves were black, with nothing but an orange outline. Her whole body was like that. Even her eyes and cutie mark. She turned her head in the direction of the hallway; something had caught her eye. It was only for a split second that she saw the pony's face before a world of black surrounded her. It's skin was white. Yes, skin. Not fur, skin. It had no yes, just black, gaping sockets with blood streaming from them, but it seemed as if it was looking straight at her. It had no mouth, but rather stitches where the mouth should be, forming a chelsea grin.
Now, the pony was gone. Applejack was alone in a world of nothing. As she looked ahead, she saw nothing. Only black. It was as if she was blind. Fog streamed from her eyes and formed around her legs and up to her knees like the flames that had engulfed her home and her family. She heard the word "honesty" echo around her. She stood, unable to speak. She just stood there, staring into the eternal nothing.
She had nothing. She was nothing. She was soulless.
This was it. Rarity's debut solo fashion show in Washinghoof. She was nervous, but also excited. She would be showing her newest and most gorgeous line ever: Sunset Blush. She was also going to be walking the catwalk with the first outfit, only increasing her anxiety.
"Rarity! It's time to begin!" Her new assistant, Coco Pommel called from the other side of the room.
"Ok!" Rarity called back.
She gulped, then slowly waited for the royal purple curtains to be pulled open. She took one deep breath before the curtains opened for the whole of Washinghoof and more to see. She began to walk down the lighted aisle, preparing for when she got to the end. Everything was going just fine until suddenly, she tripped. Everypony began laughing and saying mean things.
"What an oaf!" Called one blue pony, giggling.
"How disgraceful!" Scoffed another, turning his head as not to look in Rarity's direction.
Rarity couldn't say anything. She just ran off stage to cry. She hid in her dressing room and cried. She couldn't do anything to fully build back her reputation; nearly three cities had come to watch that show.
She gasped, waking up. It was a nightmare. Probably just jitters for the show. She got out of bed and went to look at her designs. When she got to her design room, she found that the dresses were gone. Just the plain white manikins that they rested on just hours before. Rarity touched one of the manikins to see if her eyes were just playing tricks. When her hoof touched it, she stared in shock. Her hoof was black, with a white outline.
She looked in a nearby mirror and stood, slack-jawed. Her whole body, from her horn to her hooves, was just outlines of the colors that it should be. Fog came from her eyes. Normally, the overly-dramatic unicorn would've fainted at such a sight, but found herself unable to do so. She turned away from the mirror and looked around the room once more before everything turned as black as herself. For a split second, she thought she saw a face on one of the manikins. The face had no eyes, just empty, bleeding sockets. It also had stitches from where it's mouth should be to the highest point on it's cheek bones, forming a disturbing chelsea grin.
Rarity searched the black emptiness before her with her eyes. The only thing there besides her was an eerie fog rising up to her knees. She was frightened, but remained a calm composure-until she heard the word "generosity" echo around her from an unseen force. She began to sob, realizing that there was no way out.
She was a disgrace. She was dishonorable. She was soulless.
