School

So far, schools been... nice, actually. No ones said anything, no ones been mean, nothing. I think karma, is being nice today. Either way, its only the first half of the day, and lunch, is around the corner.

Sitting in the third row from the left, i notice something. Or someone. I knew it was luck, or karma being slow, but i have a funny feeling, stuffs going to happen. Without turning my head, i could see two colts and a dragon looking at me. The dragon was a big, bulky looking guy, with a big scar on his left eye. His scale hue, was that of baby blue, maybe skyblue. His eyes, they look to be maroon. Odd.

The two colts, i could tell where brothers. They had the same mane and looked to be around, sixteen? So, either ninth graders or tenth. Either way, they looked at me like i was a peice of meat. You know, the carcases the butcher gets and they have to pound the meat to make  it tender? Yeah. I was that, to them. Hopefully, there wont be a fight, but if so. Ill gladly show them their place.

After the bells rings, i exit class and head for my locker. Never thought I'd need one, but since im 'royal', the school insisted. So, i arrive at my locker and open it, a letter falling out. Rolling my eyes with a sigh, i put my bags in and pick up the letter. Surprisingly enough, the hoof writing was elegent and nice.

"Weird... must be from someone else then." See, back at my old school, i would get threat letters, all the time. And it got to a point to where, i dont have to look at the hoof writing to know whos its from. But this letter, was different, somehow. Opeing the letter, slowly, i pull out a paper.

No biggy, right? Wrong. On the paper, is a mares hoofwriting. My heart stopped. A mare? Already? I havent been at this school for two years yet and already? Wow. I must be doing something right. Heres what it said, to a key.

Dear Aurora,

I finally got the courage to write to you. Though, my words mean nothing to you, probably. Sorry, i get self concience and, i get nervous. Anyway, i really would like to meet you face to face at lunch today, by the pond. Please, dont disapoint me and reject. Ive been fond of you for a while. Your admirer, Zena Alborous.

I read through it seven times before i neatly dolded the letter again and put it in my locker, in my bags. After cleaning up a bit, i closed my locker and went to the lunchroom. Looking around, i saw dragons and alicorns chatting and eating. I got a bag of gems and some meat. Yeah, im weird like that, but oh well.

Walking towards the pond, i started to get nervous. What if she didnt find me likable? What if... she found out about my secret?
