A month after Twilight Sparkle's coronation
"I'm tellin' you Flare, if we keep this up we'll never be able to achieve our goal" stated a grey pegasus with a black mane "You'd think that we'd eventually reach the border by now..", another pegasus turned around to face the other pegasus.
"Will you shut up already? I've had enough of your whining, ever since we left for the border all I can hear is 'Are we there yet?' 'I'm thirsty' and 'Did you bring any food?' it's unbelievable how my ears are not bleeding from your moaning.".The grey pegasus backed down after hearing his leaders rant.
"Sorry, it's just that we've put so much hope into this, and we all want to see Equestria go to war, especially after the Purple Maniac rose to power.." the grey pegasus said "I know that we have a lot resting on this Clove, but if we don't pick up the pace and get to the border then we'll never see the day where Equestria is no longer in a screwed up hierarchy". The grey pegasus, named Clove,perked up and opened his mouth to say something, only to be silenced by his leader, Flare. "You hear that Clove?" the steady flapping of wings could be heard in the distance, Clove decided to speak up, "Think that's the cavalry,Flare?"after a few seconds of silence Flare answered his question "It is..".
Canterlot
Princesses Celestia and Luna both sat on their thrones, waiting for some random pony to run into their throne room and exclaim "Your majesties! Something has gone terribly wrong!" only for it to be right once the Princesses arrive. "Will we ever get a break dear Tia?" Luna questioned "We are getting tired of this boredom..", Celestia was about to reply when a unicorn burst through the doors, this unicorn was none other than Blueblood "Auntie!" he exclaimed "Shining Armour and Princess Cadence have arrived!". Celestia's ear twitched when she heard this, "Excellent, tell them we shall meet them at once". Blueblood ran back through the doors to inform the leaders of the Crystal Empire that they could converse with Celestia. "At least we have company now".
Griffin Kingdom Border
"Ah, here is our team" Flare said as a squad of pegasi landed in front of him "You all know what you're here for right?", the squad members nodded and looked at him, a white pegasus with a royal blue mane stepped forward. "Lightning Strike at your service" the pegasus spoke "What are our orders?" Flare trotted over to him "You are to infiltrate the Griffin Kingdom and do as much damage as you can while keeping your squads casualties as low as possible, understood?" Lightning Strike saluted as he strode back to his squad "You have your orders! move into an echelon right formation and await further instructions!" he barked. Each pegasus started to hover as they formed a diagonal column ending at the right with Lightning Strike as the pegasus at the front end.
"A question sir, how will we do damage without weapons?" he asked. Flare stood up and motioned to Clove to follow him. In Clove's mouth, there was a bag with a bunch of spears,slings,crossbows and rocks inside.
"You have your weapons, take your pick and go as soon as you choose one" Flare said. Lightning Strike picked up a spear while his squad mainly picked the slings. "Do we have the all clear?" Lightning Strike questioned.
"Yes, but before you go" Flare picked up a Royal Guard badge and gave it to him "Wear this, in case one of your comrades gets killed, the Griffins have someone to blame, and will think the princesses ordered an attack on them" Flare explained. "Smart, nice scapegoat" Lightning Strike complimented "but now is not the time for romance now is the time for action!" "Then go!" Flare shouted. In an instant the pegasi took off and flew to the Griffin Kingdom, eager to start Equestria's next war.
Canterlot
"..So I tell them 'don't you snobby-flank nobles have something better to do?' and he started wetting himself!" Shining Armour jokes while Cadence looks amused, Blueblood gives Shining a disapproving look while both Celestia and Luna mind their own business
Blueblood shot his aunt a confused look "Why should we care about those pigeons anyway? all of them are warmongers and long for blood at their claws".Luna shook her head at Blueblood's comment "You shouldn't judge someone on their lifestyle and habits nephew, remember the incident between you and Generosity?"
Blueblood looked away from his aunts "That cretin does not deserve to hold that title, somehow the gods felt sad for her pathetic life and gave it to her!". Luna dropped the glass of water she was holding in her magic aura while both Cadence and Shining look at Blueblood with their jaws on the floor "How foolish of you my dear Blueblood, the honour was not thrust upon her because of her life, but it was bestowed upon her when she fought Nightmare Moon" Blueblood huffed and walked away from the group.

Griffin Kingdom
Lightning Strike and his squad commenced their attack and flew in with their slings and spears, destroying anything that could be destroyed, the majority of the targets were market stalls, since buildings couldn't be taken down by his squads weapons, but of course, the stalls were not the only things that they could attack.
"Kill as many as you can!" Lightning shouted as his squad began slaughtering the Griffins, screams of pain and despair were emitted wherever Lightning Strike's squad flew as the massacre would not end.After damaging most of the market district, the pegasi moved onto the middle district, where the heart of the Griffin Kingdom lay, the Griffin Palace towered over the majority of the kingdoms landscape and could be seen even from the border.
The squad swooped over the citizens, throwing their slings at them and the rocks impacting their faces, and in the aftermath of each strike, many beaks were lost. "Target the Palace!" Lightning barked "Leave none alive!", as the squad soared towards the palace, many of them started being shot out the sky by something.
It was at that point Lightning realised that they had been intercepted by the Griffin Air Force and they were throwing spears at them from above, "Scatter!" one of the squad members screamed before a spear went through his chest and his once alive body dived towards the ground.
With seven squad-mates left, Lightning Strike told them to go evasive, and that they would not be able to get to the palace in shreds, many of them listened while a few continued flying onwards, those few had became mere corpses after 10 seconds.
A few minutes later, Lightning Strike landed on the Palace's balcony, and welcomed himself in by bucking the balcony door open, with 3 team mates left, they knew that they would not make this one out alive, after a speech by Lightning Strike, and a few more broken doors, the squad had reached the throne room, only to be fired at by arrows and bolts, 2 of Lightning's team mates died while the remaining one was injured, the injured one, however, rolled his spear to Lightning Strike and pointed at the Griffin King and rasped "Finish it.." before dying from blood loss.
With one chance left, Lightning Strike rushed to a pillar and stood on his hind legs, he took aim and threw, unfortunately, Lightning Strike had ran into the open to take his shot, and after he threw his spear, an arrow impaled itself into his neck and he heard a loud roar of pain, and that roar of pain was not from him, but from the Griffin King himself! the spear had hit its mark and impaled him through the stomach.
In Lightning Strike's final moments, two griffins walked up to him and one exclaimed "He's a royal guard! he must have been on an assassination mission against King Maximus!" "Well looks like he did his job.. the Kings dead." before finally losing himself to the final unknown.
Luckily for Lightning Strike, that unknown was not death, for he woke up once more with a bandage around his neck and chains around his arms,he tried to struggle but it was to no avail. "Don't bother" a voice said "Struggling will only make you weaker".
Lightning tried to talk, but the only noises coming out of his mouth were "Ooo errr yeww" and other forms of nonsense "Who am I?" the voice said, "Why, I am your captor of course!". Lightning moaned some more before he started to struggle again "Oh shut up your moaning is becoming a bother!" and a fisted talon hooked him across the face. Lightning moaned again, and got punched again, "Now, you will tell me who sent you, and since you're a royal guard it won't be hard to figure out".
Two griffins walked in and removed the gag from Lightning's mouth "I'll kill you! I'll kill all of you feather-brained fur-balls!" he screamed.One of the griffins punched him right in the muzzle. "T-That all you g-got?" Lightning taunted, before receiving a fist in the gut and another fist to the face. Lightning spat blood out at the griffins face and gave it a cocky grin "Y-You hit l-like a f-filly!" The griffin looked like he was about to throw another punch but was silenced by a bellowing voice "ENOUGH! " the voice blasted "Now that you have your voice, care to tell us who sent you?" the voice asked "Your mother sent me..." Lightning murmured "What was that? I didn't hear you with that fist in your face" the voice said "What fis- AUGH " another punch thrown at is face.
"Now, care to tell me who sent you?" The voice questioned "C-Celestia and h-her student sent our team on a mission to deal with the griffins after trading went down and there were random assaults on ponies in Equestria..She said that the King was telling them to do it so that they could provoke us.." "She said that once we were provoked he would think we would want to go to war.. and that the griffins would be able to take over Equestria.." "We knew that we hadn't a single chance against the griffins, so she sent a covert team to the border to take out the King..So he would not be able to give orders to the griffins in Equestria.." "Me and my team were selected to go.. and as you can see.. we got the job done.."
"And that is where you're wrong..you see the person you were talking to the entire time,me, was your target, and I survived, but i went into shock after your spear went into me..you have a damn good throw.. too bad that you wont be able to throw again"
"W-Why do you say that?" Lightning asked, and the two griffins from earlier came in with a torch lit on fire "No! NO! please have mercy!" Lightning begged, he knew what was going to happen to him.
"...Mercy is for the weak" The two griffins put the torch to Lightning's coat, and he immediately got set on fire. "NO! PLEASE NO! HELP ME!" the griffins cut his chains around his hooves and let him burn freely
Lightning Strike flailed his limbs like a madman and slowly, Ever so slowly, his body turned black, his mane and tail missing he slumped to the floor and died.
"Lets go pay Celestia a visit.."

Griffin Kingdom
"My people, sons and daughters of Griffonia, on this day, as our enemies bodies lie broken on our streets, and their hopes crushed, we are once again reminded that ponies can never be trusted, for years we have worked away on empty stomachs, slowly rebuild our hope,our pride and our nation!, but that time has passed, we have fought the ponies who wish to enslave us! and treat us like rubbish, but no longer! no longer shall we bow down towards our oppressors who's only goal is to conquer, on this day, we shall show Celestia our true power, on this day we shall show that the Griffins are not a race to be trifled with, and with the attempted assassination mission on me, your King, we have enough evidence to justify what we are about to do, On this day, we go to war!."
Canterlot
Princess Celestia is sitting at her chambers, filing out paperwork when suddenly, a knock at her door is heard. "Come in" Celestia said."Your highness, we have grave news from the griffin kingdom!" Celestia looked up at the guard "Do tell,we have been waiting on an update between our relations"
The Guard's face turned into a frown, "Princess... they have declared war on us..". Celestia's eyes widened at this "No, that can't be right, we were so close to signing the Griffonian-Equine peace treaty.."
"Your highness, should we prepare the Guards?" Celestia kept staring at the Guard, then she finally spoke up, "Ready them, but do not send them out yet, send a messenger to the Griffin kingdom to be sure." "Yes your highness, is that all?. "Yes..that is all" The Guard bowed then trotted out the room, another figure entered soon after.
"Dear sister, what is it that the guard was talking about? war with the Griffins?". Celestia merely nodded as an answer as Luna trotted to her side "This must be a mistake, we haven't done anything to them." Celestia looked at her sister, and spoke "I have sent a messenger do deal with this, hopefully we can find out what the problem is."
"Very well, but please tell me when we get an update Tia, this will be the first time in centuries that Equestria has had to fight a war.." Luna commented, "Of course Luna, you will be the first to know of any changes." Luna smiled at her sister, who smiled back, she then trotted out of her sister's room to rest.
"There just has to be something wrong..."
Griffin Kingdom
Thousands of griffins had lined up in tandem, marching towards the border, ready to fly to Equestria. the Griffin commander called out, and told them to stop marching.
He watched as a pegasus flew into the border with a rolled parchment in a saddlebag. "After him!" the commander shouted, and the entire line had broken up with all of the griffins flying to the pegasus that had flown in.
"Think he's on another assassination mission on the King?" one griffin questioned "Probably, but I'm more interested in the parchment in his saddlebag" another griffin replied. "Alright guys, take him out before he reaches the Palace!" the commander barked out his next order, and waves of griffins descended upon the lone pegasus.
The griffins opened their talons, ready to destroy their next target, and as they closed in, the pegasus turned around and screamed at the top of his lungs, one of the griffins grabbed the pegasus by the wing, and slit his throat with his free talon.
"I got the target sir!" the griffin shouted the commander turned and looked at him. "Dispose of his body, leave nothing left, preferably, burn his body like the other pegasus that came" he said.
"Yes sir!" the griffin took the corpse and flew off,but he didn't notice the parchment that slid out the saddlebag and fell to the ground, it landed in a river, where the ink dissolved into the water and the parchment opened.
In the quickly dissolving ink, the words Dear Maximus were written and other words that could be made out such as 'Lies', 'Apology' and 'War'.
Equestria is at war once more..

2 hours later, Canterlot
Celestia looked troubled, the messenger she sent had still not arrived, and reports from the edge of Equestria had shown that the griffins were building up an army nearly 3 times the size of Equestria's Royal Guard, Lunar Guard, and Crystal Guard combined. Celestia rubbed her temples with her hooves, hoping to calm down, but a ruler of a country at war can never be calm, especially with all her Ponies lives at risk.
Celestia got up and walked to the door, she turned to the guard standing next to the door "Guard, you are to inform all the nobles, rulers, and commanders of Equestria to meet in the dining hall, it is a matter of great urgency" The Guard saluted "Yes your highness" Celestia smiled "Thank you" before she trotted off towards the throne room.
As she walked in, she noticed Luna sitting in her throne, looking bored "Ah, Tia, we have been waiting for thou, have you received any information about the status of the Griffins?" Luna questioned Celestia, "I'm sorry Luna, but the messenger has not arrived yet, we fear that he may have been.." Celestia gulped "...Killed in Action..".
Luna frowned at her sister, "Well then that is clearly an act of aggression, we must inform the Elements of Harmony about this at once!" Celestia looked back at her sister, "That is a bit of an overreaction, don't you think dear Luna? Besides, we cannot risk losing them in battle, they are a vital asset towards Equestria's protection, and most of the elements do not know how to physically fight.." Luna raised an eyebrow "What about Loyalty?, and Honesty? they can fight." Luna replied.
Luna frowned, "Well then, we should inform them anyway, they deserve to know". Celestia nodded, and pulled out a parchment from the pile next to her throne.

6 teenagers in a park are playing football, one of the boys volleys a shot which misses the goal wildly. "You were always a shit shot Yurii, you'd never hit that target",one boy with glasses said "You support Man City but you're bent as hell" the other boy, Yurii, turns to the boy with glasses, who is slightly taller than him.
Another boy with blond hair in a comb-over and zits all over his face walks up to Yurii and talks "Since you missed Yurii, you're the one who's gonna get it" the boy grins at Yurii, who frowns at him "Alfie, leave him, you know that he's not the fastest sprinter here, and besides, his powers make him pretty slow, apart from the teleportation of course." Alfie, turns around and faces another boy with black hair and orange-ish complexion "Akrit why do you stand up for everybody, besides he knows we're joking!" Rahul, who is sitting on a bench nearby spits out part of his sandwich "We were?! ,I was being serious!" Yurii growls at this and walks away "I'm goin' home! I'll see you guys at school tomorrow!"
"Christ, the guys 15 and he acts like an 8 year old" a new boy walks in, with shoulder-length brown hair and freckles on his face "You'd think that even though we're immortal he'd become a bit more mature huh Aaron?" Rahul stated "Damn right, kid needs to grow up" Aaron replies.
"Hey Hubert!" Alfie shouts "You gonna go after your League boyfriend?!" before he starts bursting into laughter. A red haired kid with pale skin turns around and stares at Alfie with his crystal blue eyes "Oh yeah? are you ever gonna get a brain?" Alfie looks at him "That hurt my feelings Hubert.. I though we were friends.." Alfie says sarcastically and puts a hand on his chest before going into a laughing fit once more.
Aaron sits with Rahul on the bench "So,you gonna go home and watch My Little Pony: French Slappers are Magic some more, Rahul?" Rahul grins and punches Aaron in the thigh, "As hilarious as that joke is, the show is actually somewhat cool." Aaron giggles some more, before muttering things like 'Brony' and 'Rainbow Splash'.
"Alright, Rahul, Aaron, me and Akrit are goin' home, we'll see ya tomorrow" Alfie says "Alright see ya guys, I'm gonna head home too" Rahul speaks up, before two rockets come out of two opening doors on his legs, and he flies off to his home.
"He's showin' off ain't he?" Everybody nods their heads, Hubert joins Aaron and everyone walks home.
The Next Day
"So Yurii, feeling better?" Rahul asked as the team sat around a table in the canteen of their school "Yeah, I'm good, now will you stop asking?!" Yurii growled "Whoa, Yurii with the aggression! take a chill pill!, I'm supposed to be the one with the screwed up temper" Rahul replied "Why don't you take that temper and shove it up your ass?" Yurii said with hatred in his tone "Do you want to take a punch in the face and some plasma to your head?!" Rahul shouted as he slammed his fist down on the table.
"Guys! Guys! stop it, you're making a scene!" Akrit said in an effort to calm down the two with the most violent rivalry in their team,but he silenced himself when he saw the two M61 cannons coming out of Rahul's shoulders. "Dayum.." Alfie whispered,
In response to Rahul bringing out two Vulcan's, Yurii slid two shurikens from his blazer sleeves and held them in a throwing posture.Last time you two had a fight? They had to get a crane to pull Yurii from that crater in the school" Alfie laughed while Akrit covered his mouth with his hand to stop himself from laughing. "Yeah, they also needed 3 doctors to pull all the glass out of Rahul's body!" Rahul grimaced at the memory while Yurii looked away.
"Hey guys!" a feminine voice came from the left end of the table, a group of 6 girls had sat down next to them, the girl who talked, was Akrit's long time crush, Kasey, the two are in the same form, Walker, but Akrit couldn't man up to talk more than a sentence to her, in fact, on his birthday, the Immortals (Apart from Yurii and Hubert, they couldn't make it) ,3 of Akrit's friends and Kasey went to the cinema to watch a film, and Akrit couldn't man up enough to sit next to Kasey. They all turned to the girls at the end of the table and waited for someone to say something "H-Hey Kasey.." Akrit whimpered when she was talking to her.The rest of them just said hello or hi to them before we heard the bell ring for class..Maths..
3:15 End of school day
Rahul's P.O.V
"You should really take that off" Aaron was talking to me "It looks embarrassing".I growled at the fact that he was talking about the star I had on my sleeve, it was Twilight Sparkle's cutie mark, "How bout no? I'm proud to have it on" I grinned, I was a brony and proud of it, unfortunately I couldn't choose my favourite Pony, it was either Twilight Sparkle or Princess Luna. "Whatever, at least I'm not a wrestling fanatic" I made Aaron give me an angry face with that comment, I think I hit a Heart string,heh. "Anyway I'll see you tomorrow, I need a rest" I sighed after saying that. "Alright see you tomorrow" Aaron said.
Activate Leg jets, set a course for home, I'm tired as hell.. Confirmed, setting course.. Standby, course set, activating jets Oh, also play that one drum and bass song that I like to listen to while flying Roger that, playing media
I felt myself being lifted into the air as the jets powered up, these jets could reach Mach 2.5 if I wanted them to, but I usually flew at 225 mph so as to not scare everyone on the ground
I arrived home a few minutes later and went straight to my room,Time for some well needed MLP

"As you can see princess, the Griffins have taken Ponyville, Appleoosa,Stalliongrad, the Crystal Empire has been lost too, we have not gotten any news from Shining Armour or Princess Cadenza we assume they have died, also, Manehatten has taken major damage, but an elite team of guards has kept Hooflyn by destroying the Griffin airships, the other guards have also managed to keep minor towns near the Canterlot sector under control, but messengers have said that they are becoming overrun and that we will lose a few towns within the hour, if we do not do something quickly we will lose all of these zones, and soon Canterlot will fall, as well as this, we have news that the griffins have acquired the help of the dragons, unfortunately, the elements may not help in this war, and we only have so many guards.."
"Any solutions commander?"
"There is one..but if we put it into action..we will lose the minor towns in Equestria.."
"What is it?"
"Pool in all the guards to Canterlot, so that the defence here will be stronger"
"You know I cannot allow that commander, I will not put my little ponies' lives at risk, and even if we put that plan into action, the amount of guards we have will not be able to hold back an entire invasion force of dragons and griffins, unless you have a plan that can guarantee the safety of my citizens, I don't want to hear it.."
"Yes Princess"
"Commander, do me a favour and bring the elements in"

The door opens and each of the Elements of Harmony walk in with frowns."Princess, you called for us?" Twilight asked "What is it you need?", she asked again. "My faithful student, I regret to inform you.." Twilight looks down at the marble floor "Shining Armour and Cadence are no longer with us.." Each of the Elements gasped at this and Twilight fell onto her haunches with tears brimming in her eyes "A-And how do you know this princess?" Twilight asked. "I was there at the fall of the Crystal Empire, it is Griffin territory now.." "N-No! they have to be alive, it can't be true.." Twilight moaned, on the floor lay a broken mare, once one of the happiest in all of Equestria. "I'm sorry Twilight."
"Elements, we have no time to mourn the..unfortunate losses of Shining Armour and Princess Cadence, most of Equestria's territory has been lost to the Griffins, and now that they have formed an alliance with the dragons, victory for them is even more likely, so I have brought you here so that the guards may take you to the chambers beneath the castle, none of the Griffins will be able to attack you since the lock can only be undone with my horn, so if I fall in battle, rest assured that nobody will be able to hurt you.."
"Princess! you cannot be serious! we are the Elements of Harmony! we must play our part in the war for Equestria!" Rarity begged
"Princess, you did the right thing." the commander spoke up. "Did I commander? or have I shown that every ruler breaks at one point?" The commander frowned "Princess, every ruler DOES break at one point, your breaking point is when your ponies are hurt, but it shows how far you are willing to go to protect your citizens" Celestia smiled at the comment "Thank you commander, but before you go.. may I ask.. can we evacuate the ponies in the towns before they are overrun?".

This is Crossbar, we have received reports of the griffins teaming up with the dragons, We wish you the best in your efforts to defend Hooflyn, we know you can do it. We have sent catapults in response to the Dragon Alliance, these should help with bringing the dragons out of the sky, Glassman,Dwarf,Carriage,Icicle,everybody from Manehatten is counting on you to deal with the threat, once this war is over hopefully you won't get deployed as much. Our pegasi reconnaissance has show about 3 dragons heading for Hooflyn now, and will enter your airspace soon enough, good luck stallions, and Celestiaspeed.

I know that there isn't a chance that we will win this war, the Griffins are to powerful, and with our Guard count falling by the minute it won't be long till the Griffins break through the our defensive line.
Me and Maximus used to be friends you know?
I know that what I am about to do will not work, but I would give it all for the safety of my ponies.
This is our last hope, and if we do not get any help, then Luna and I will take on the griffins ourselves, and as unlikely as it is that we will win.
"Ah, sister, you have finally arrived!" Luna smiled "Yes Luna, but let us not forget why we are here, and the objective at hoof." Luna returned to her normal neutral face."We suppose that you had a lot of stress on your mind Tia, but know that the reinforcements that we may get from the distress signal will help us dearly". "I know Luna but.. what if there are no reinforcements? and that the distress signal is not picked up by anyone?" I sighed.
"To whoever can hear this
A flurry of lights flashed around our horns and a beam of light was shot into the sky, that beam of light is pony-kind's last hope.
Outer rim of Canterlot
A light shot into the sky and into the far reaches of space, all of the ponies watched in amazement as this light sped off and slowly twinkled, many ponies thought than it was a firework,but why would anypony be firing fireworks at a time like this? Equestria is at war, why is anybody happy?.

"We have lost the objective, I repeat we have lost the objective"
'Damn, just took that one too'BORING , still, at least I have something to do. I used to be a regular watcher of the show, but after a few episodes of season 4 I kinda lost interest, well, I spent too much time reading Fanfics,really.that was ANOTHER drawer, but this one held less use to me than the others, this drawer contained my video games, last time I counted, I think I had 15? 16? I dunno, on top of that was stuff like cream, a smaller drawer (too many, I know) but that one had nothing I really needed, so I left it there to die.
My phone started buzzing for some reason, I had a smartphone that came out in '11 but I got it last November because the other phone I had was just.. ugh.
