The Weather Mare

I couldn't sleep at all. I just laid in the bed, thinking. Something about the mare caught my eye. She was....special. I tossed and turned at the thought. My gaze turned to out the window. The storm had picked up again, this time it was terrible. Some of the street lamps had been knocked over.

"Oh wow..." I said.  Lightning struck and the power went out. "Great." I muttered under my breath. I sighed and tried to get to sleep. That's when my door opened. Misty was standing there, tears streaming down her puffy red face glistened when the lightning struck.

"R-R-Rispin?" She stuttered through her cries.

"Hmm?" I said pretending to be tired.

"C-can I sleep with y-you?" She asked. I looked at her shocked but not against the idea.

"What?" I asked.

"I-I know that i-it sounds foal-ish but....I-I'm scared..." She confessed. The look on her face made my heart flutter.

'What are you doing?!' I thought to my heart. I moved over in my bed and lifted the blanket to let her lay down.

'What are YOU doing!?!?' I thought to myself. She laid with me and was forced to be pressed against me, due to how small the bed was. She blushed. I blushed as well and hugged her.

'STOP!' My thoughts said lingering in his mind, but my heart had taken over. I cuddled with her, realizing how cold she was. She smiled and cuddled with me.The storm started to calm down.

"Your the nicest pony I've met in a long time." She said smiling. I smiled and looked her in the eyes. She gazed back into mine.

I was gone by then. My heart had been revived from it's cold chasm and was in full control. I smiled and slowly leaned in closer to her. She didn't even notice until she felt the heat of my breath against her muzzle. I tilted my head to the side, closing my eyes and slowly making contact with her lips. She closed her eyes and kissed me. A rush of feelings and emotions came running back to me as I pressed deeper into the kiss. She put a hoof behind my head and pushed into the kiss. I put a hoof around her waist and brought her closer, keeping the warm kiss going.The kiss was forced to be broken when we need air. We both panted as we looked at each other.

"W-.....wow..." She panted.

"Wow...." I replied.

She cuddled with me, smiling happily. I smiled an cuddled with her.

I drifted off to sleep, smiling as I knew, I had found love.
