Then there was silence, the mindscape a place for nothing. Then there was the return of logic and magic, the mindscape a place for thought. And then she thought. And she feared. Gone was the unity, gone was the comfort of the all, gone was everything and everyone she knew before the all. Then there was a quest, the landscape for adventure.
Waking upView OnlineFallout Equestria: MindscapeWaking upShe squintingly opened her eyes, lights glaring at her face. She was on a hard surface, most likely an examination table. Everything hurt, all of her muscles felt bruised and abused. She could barely bring her hoof up to her face, bringing her hoof up felt like a monumental task. She slowly moved her aching neck to get a look around the room she was in. She was what looked to be a doctors office, or a nurses clinic, or some weird fetishists basement, she couldn't really tell. The room was probably pristine white at one point in time, but the years had caught up with the room, mold was growing in the corners, and the door seemed to have been eaten away by termites over the years. She spotted a figure in the corner of the room, it was the shape of a mare, her cloud white hair matching her faded nurses uniform. She was snoring softly and by the way she was sleeping she could see the mares horn. It was then that she noticed the large tray of medical tools next to the table she was laying on. Which caused her to ponder why she was there, had she been scheduled for a surgery? Or was the unicorn holding her captive? She decided to play it safe and attempt to sneak out of the room. She took and endured pains to remain quiet as she eased her form off of the examination table. Every step felt like fire, every twitch her heartbeat caused in her muscles was agony, even breathing properly was a chore. She winced on every step in agony, and agonizing fear that the pony in the corner would awake. She almost let out a sigh of relief when she made it out the door, but as she turned to close the door on her way out she saw a clipboard, a clipboard with a name on it. It read, ALICORN UNITY RECLAMATION:TEST SUBJECT MARE, DECEASED 2 DAYS PREVIOUS TO EXPOSURE TO UNITY, MEDIUM BUILD, LOW MUSCLE, BODY DONATED TO SCIENCE. ALICORN, PREVIOUSLY UNICORN. UNITY RECLAMATION ATTEMPT: TWILIGHT SPARKLE There was more to the clipboard, but that was all she read before she passed out. ¥<

There was peace, there were happy families who lived together, foals played in the streets and the worst a pony had to fear was the day to day interactions. Ponies died at old ages surrounded by happy ponies who loved them. There were many ponies in these days. There were many, many happy families, all with needs, emothions, feelings, and wants. With wants come happiness and disappointments, disappointments give way to anger, anger leads to hate, and hate. Hate leads to war. ¥< There was a time in the land of Zebrica. There was peace, this peace was tenuous. There were many predators that roamed the land and devoured whatever they could find. Fear was a prominent feature in the daily lives of the zebras that lived there. Fear breeds adrenaline, fear fuels survival, survival fuels innovation,innovation breeds plenty, plenty gives way to greed, greed gives way to selfishness, selfishness hurts those you love, hurting those you love leads to sorrow, leads to fear, and fear. Fear leads to suffering. ¥< There was once a race of proud predators who once lived on the open seas. These creatures called themselves griffins. These griffins lived on small eyries that barely supported themselves against the rough waves of the seas. They could only roam so far from their homes for food, and eventually the food learned to avoid the eyries. Food became sparse, they built. They built ships. These ships were only small things but once they learned, they built the greatest designs for travel, they built galleys, galleons, men of war, they built trade ships, and they became masters of the seas. Food was no longer a problem, they entered a time where no griffin wanted for food, but soon they discovered that they weren't the only beings to have discovered sea travel. This other race held valuables, jewels, silver and gold, the likes of which the griffins had ever seen. The griffins took these with ease, and sold them to their bretheren. The others wanted more. The demand overcame the supply, so they stole more and more. The griffins became tyrannical rulers of the seas. They became pirates. They pillaged and plundered, pillaging and plundering led to raids, raids lead to sieges, sieges led to war, and war. War never changes.
TurmoilView OnlineFallout Equestria: MindscapeTurmoilWhat was this feeling, confusion, fear? Was it terror? No, it was too subdued for it to be terror. Maybe sadness? No still to general of a word. This feeling, like the word she was looking for was by itself, hidden within the depths of her mind. She thought. By itself... Alone, lonesome, LONELY. The word tore through her mind. Ripping through her psyche. The word thrashed as it tore through her mind, the thrashing dredging up memories. The memories were painful. She remembered and she cried, she mourned, and she flailed. She was stuck in her own misery of her own memories. Memories, memories, memories. She remembered parties, rainbows, animals, dresses, apples. None of the images made any sense, she couldn't make the connection to what they were supposed to be to. Then a fiery sensation filled her mind and the memories were gone, gone was the pain from before, this fire, this agony destroyed them all. Gone was her reprieve, gone was her identity, gone was her pain, washed away by the fiery river. Panic gripped her as she struggled to stay afloat in the rush of fire, her entire being threatened to be plucked into the aether. She then heard a voice amongst the turmoil. The voice was deep, it began as a murmur. Then the voice formed into words. The voice spoke, and what it spoke startled her "Miss, its time to wake up."
