Dark Turn

"SLAM!!!"

"CLICK!!"

Fluttershy looked up from the sudden echoing sounds that caused the candle beside her to go out. she turned around to be greeted with only darkness which meant

the door had somehow shut and lock had made its signature click sound. which told her two things, one she was not alone and two she was trapped.

"um. Twilight is that you?"

"..."

"come on Twilight you know I hate pranks."

"Twilight seriously I don't like this joke, now please open the door and turn some lights on so we can forget this ever happened."

Fluttershy was scared but knew Twilight wouldn't hurt her or anypony for that matter. but in the back of her mind those horrifying instructions kept echoing into her mind.

"Twilight?!"

"..."

fear was the only feeling she could feel but she knew if she tried to run she would only trip on something or get lost in the darkness, or even worse bump into whatever or whoever shut the door. now silence was Fluttershy's only weapon and thought if she stayed completely quiet she would be practically invisible in the dark and silence of the room.

then she noticed something. a noise that had been echoing in the background ever since she arrived.

"drip,drip,drip"

she looked around for the source of the liquid sound effects. but could still only see darkness. she could only listen to the noise while her eyes adjusted to the darkness she could tell the noise wasn't moving but she couldn't tell where and what was making the unknown noise.

beginning to hate this painfully long silence the only sounds where the drips and her very uneasy breathing. for a very quick second she even thought the wind could have shut the door. but she very quickly gave up that idea so she wouldn't let her guard down.

after three terrifying minutes her eyes finale adjusted. and she was staring at a pair of eyes with little to no pupils and almost red from how bloodshot they looked while tears flowed from them. and a huge grin that split her face in two. a monster that could only be Fluttershy's true love Twilight Sparkle.

"EEEEYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!"

Fluttershy jumped straight into the air and started blindly flying and hit a bookshelf face first causing her eyes to loose any progress they had on lighting up the room.

"OUCH!!!"

"Twilight! oh my goodness are you scared me please don't do that."

"now can you please light your horn so we can see."

she laid on her stomach rubbing her head from its recent impact with two very large books and waited for the purple glow her friend was asked to make. but nothing happened only a dreaded silence filled the room. but this one was different the drips where gone.  then she remembered the horrifying way her love looked and the tears flowing from her almost vacant eyes and the notes warnings.

Just then Fluttershy realized her what kind of situation she was in.

"Twilight please let me help you."

suddenly a light appeared behind her she recognized it immediately as Twilight's purple magic. and turned around just in time to see the biggest book in all of ponyville flying towards her head at an unbelievable speed.

"Goodnight my sweet little angel."

BAM!! CRACK!!!
