After a while, he heard footsteps that caused him to inhale sharply before holding it, careful as to not make any noise. It was then that a shadowed figure went past the alleyway with a sharp pointed tail. He knew it was 'her'. It had to be. There was no other living being in this void other than him and 'her'.

Thinking the coast was clear, he heard a voice that made his blood run cold as he shivered in fear.

'The fuck..?' Mike asked himself as he exhaled slightly, causing him to regret it as he heard her claws scratch on the black brick wall painfully, causing his ears to hurt slightly. He then heard her demonic laughter once again which caused his eyes to dilate.

He was terrified right now. With him firmly seated on the ground in fear as death stood in front of him, waiting to claim his life. Her claws were now razor sharp as her teeth and her scales seemed to ooze out some sort of black smoke. The ghastly gash was now fully bleeding out the same black substance, with it forming into more tendrils.

Mike tried to inch further away from the demon. But with every inch back, she took a step forward, her grin never leaving her face. ‘Come on brain. Think!’ he thought to himself.

He had to get away from her. He just had to. Otherwise, there would be no telling what would happen to him in this black void. The only thing he could think of as of now was to try and run away from her, all the way till the other side of the alleyway where the exit was his only salvation. Lucky for him, she was quite distant from him, so if he ran fast enough, he may just have a shot. ‘May’ he thought to himself.

It was now or never.

Wishing himself with the utmost of luck, he quickly stood up and ran, causing the demon Barb to let loose an ear piercing screech before she gave chase.

He ran as fast as he could as the exit was now within his reach. But he then felt something tug him really hard on his left leg, causing him to impact the floor really hard face first. His body ached so much at that moment.

And so, he painfully shifted himself up slightly, seeing the exit just in front of him, probably an arms length away. But he knew he was doomed as he felt himself being dragged further and further away, an demonic giggle could be heard from behind him. He tried to grab anything that he could and hurl it at the demon, only to be rewarded with more giggles.

The princesses didn't reply as they only stared at the scene.

The minutes fly by as the entire group were still in the room, waiting for the purple dragoness to stop. However, it seemed that, no matter how much time they waited, Barb was still in the same broken state. It definitely pained so much to see in so much hurt.

Then, they heard the door behind them open as hoofsteps could be heard. A moment later, a male voice questioned, "Hearth...Why are you back here?"

The nurse turned back to her colleague and frowned. "Well...Breaking the news to them..." she said softly, scratching the back of her neck.

And then, in just one sentence, the entire room became quiet. In just one sentence, the entire group, turned their heads and stared at the doctor as if he was mad, insane even. However, the doctor wasn't fazed by their looks whatsoever.

"What do you mean? The're not his friend as far as I know. Heck, I don't think Silver Chrome even knows them"

As said before, the room became utter silent as the females turned to look at him with a crazy look. However, the one that broke the silence was the, previously crying dragoness, who was now staring at the doctor with tears still runner down her face and her emerald irises having a tinge of red.

"...Wh-Wha...What...?" Barb questioned, stuttering slightly as she sniffed.

"Like I said ma'am, this body belongs to Silver Chrome. A stallion who at the age of 33 died in the Everfree" The doctor simply stated, crossing his arms as he gave a small frown.

Barb felt that she was hallucinating, hearing things that were not real. Her mind screamed at her, telling of how it was all an elaborate trap and that he was truly dead. But even so, there was a small nagging feeling that he was telling the truth. She just had to find out!

"...Where is he..."

The doctor's ear moved slightly, catching the sound of something. "Pardon me but did you say something?" The doctor asked

The dragoness' face never left the sight of the floor as she slowly stood up clenching her claw and rolling it into a ball. "I said..." she breathed in for a moment before yelling at the top of her voice.

"WHERE IS HE!?!?!"

The doctor recoiled from the sudden outburst and quickly tried to compose himself. "..A-Ah!..Y-Yes...Erm..The..The human...I..I presume..." he stuttered as Barb slowly walked to him with an angered expression, much like the ones every female, except the nurse, was holding at the moment.

"...Now...Tell us where he is and if he is fine or not...Otherwise...Your life will be a living tartarus" Eris said as she was now behind the poor doctor who was quivering like crazy.
