Final Chapter:

"Well, here is the good news, It is not as bad as i thought" David said to his lieutenant. "But there are still two Zealots and a shit load of ugly ass split jaw bastards" The ODST said as he continued to look through the scope of his sniper rifle. He knew he had to bring these elites down now, and luckily, a little raid helped save the remaining towns folk the previous night.

Lining up a shot, David took a deep breath,

-Appleosa-

"Captain, what are we doing?" a hushed whisper came from Ruby Lance.

"Well lieutenant, we are going to infiltrate the Mauritanian prison camp, rescue the towns folk, eliminate any minotaurs we see, destroy their weapons cache, and hall ass out of here before those damned abominations get here" David said in hushed tone. "Now stay here for a moment, I'll take out the guards." Slipping through the shadows, the ODST took out the sword Luna had given him and his combat knife. Now just feet away he trough the smaller blade into the throat of the further minotaur before running his sword through the closer ones neck, efficiently killing them both. removing his blades from the fallen bull men, he spoke on the radio "All clear, move forward" Repeating this process, the ODST soon found a weapons cache of gunpowder, dynamite, muskets and armor, enough to destroy most of the town, if detonated, or shot. David smiled as a plan popped into his head before he ran out of the building.

Soon finding himself in front of a cage, holding only a few of the townsfolk. "If yer here to torture me, ah hate ta disappoint ya but ah ant talk'n" a tan colt with amber hair and faded green eyes said, his jacket was warn an tattered. The young colts eyes reminded him of his own when he first witnessed the death of civilians in New Mombasa.

"I am Captain David Smith of Celestia's Royal army. We are here to save you." the soldier before he unlocked the cell. "We dont have much time, lets go" leading the last few survivors out of the town. "A-Squad, meet up, I need you to extract the V.I.P'S, I need to deal with something else."

Memorizing where the weapons cache was, David took aim, took a deep break, and -boom- fired off a round, then quickly aimed at the split elites, boom, boom, boom, three down, a hell of a lot more to go. "Spot for me lieutenant" David commanded as he found a group of minotaurs line up in battle lines through his scope, then their king commanding them "too easy" boom, boom, boom, boom. Every minotaur eliminated. Now, the hard part.

"Captain, those big things are running this way!" Ruby yelled as he started to look panicked

"Stay calm solider!" David yelled as he fired off another clip, dropping one of the Zealot Elites. "Fuck, i hate those things" he yelled slamming another clip into place, this time, taking out only two "well, one squad down" He said before firing off more rounds, taking down four more elites, slamming another clip into place, a dreaded sound made the ODST shiver "JAM! lieutenant run!" David yelled as he saw the active camouflage on the remaining zealot go on. David could see the red outline through his helmet just fine, but knew the stallion next to him couldn't. Picking up his DMR, David emptied one clip, taking down another elite, then another, and another before it too jam. "Fuck" The ODST turned to run but came face to face with the last elite, the Zealot.

"So you human filth, I figured you all had died" the Zealot said with a, what David could only figured as a grin as the alien turned off his active camouflage.

"The feeling is mutual bug" David said throwing down his helmet and his DMR. "now, lets finish this." David said as he started to run at the elite. Knife in hand, and dodging the elites first slash, the ODST got into striking distance and slashed the knife across the gut of the Zealot, only to earn a back hand from the beast, knocking him onto his back.

"Die you fitly human" the zealot yelled as he drove his sword at David, impaling the soldier in the gut. Chuckling, the elite lowered his face to the elite "now human, you will die"

Coughing up some blood, David chuckled. "yeah, its not gonna happen like that." David pressed the button on a plasma grenade he stole from the elite when he slashed him then punched the Zealot in the mouth, forcing the grenade to stick to the elite. putting his foot on the elite's chest, he kicked him away as hard as he could, shoving him just far enough away before the grande exploded, killing the elite. "well, that's it..." David said as darkness took him.

-Canterlot Rose Garden-

Two Alicorns stood in front of a statue of a black armored figure, the darker Alicorn holding an infant child, the older, white Alicorn put her arm on her daughter "I wish you could have met him. He was just like David" Celestia said as she smiled at the statue.

"Yeah, looks just like him too" David said as he limped towards the two, now out of his uniform, and in what one could only describe as a "Prince's out fit". Chuckling David smiled "i wish he was here, but he always did the right thing. " Smiling at Celestia, David chuckled "was he still stubborn as a box of rocks?" David asked, humor in his voice.

"All the time" Celestia said with a smile and a tear running down her face. "but not as much as you." she said, sending her, Luna and David into a laugh.

"Well, that's good." David said before he stood up right and saluted the statue. looking over to Luna, and Celestia, a smile made its way onto his face knowing that no war, but only peace was in his future.
