Twilight lay on her couch, looking up from her book on 'Biology of Dragons', and saw the dragon of her affections look away, and went back to re-shelving. She could have sworn she herd him let out a depressed sigh.

Twilight lay crying on the library floor, next too the fireplace, body covered with a blanket and sad music paying on the radio. But then Flash told the lavender mare that It was not going to workout between them. Twilight's tears of joy turned to tears of pain, and sadness.
Without another word she ran out of the restaurant crying. And all the way home.

After what felt like an hour, Twilight stopped crying and looked into Spikes eyes. There was something different, like a spark. It took Twilight a few days after that night to realize what that spark was. It was... Love.
