Chapter 4 The Videogame revisesd

"AHH Barry your here", jumped Twilight. "Please you have to get them out of there".

"Um well, normally you use the controller to move the character in the game.... how did they get into the game"?? I noticed that Gears of War 2 was playing and Gears of War 1,3, and Judgement, Doom3 BFG Edition, Lost planet 2 were sitting on the ground next to the tv. I picked up Doom3, "man am I glad that you didn't put them in this game or otherwise they'd be in for one hell of a nightmare. Hmmm if you ever banish me put me in Doom 3 (smirking(had a evil idea and Chrysalis caught on)). So Twilight do you have a plan... Because I've never been in the games but I least have beaten them and know how to get through the games... And at least they are close to the end of the game .... (where I had left off). "

"If you play the game, can you get them safely through the game" asked Twilight nervously?
Everyone was looking at Barry...

"Sure, I've played this game plenty of games to know what to do, I'm glad they aren't at the beginning of the game or otherwise I would want to jump in there with them". (I grabbed the controller and hit start button and took control of Marcus Fenix (one of the main characters of the game ). They watched as I went through the enemy guns a blazing. "Hey Twilight write a note and transport it to Spike to let them know I'm controlling the game now so they don't need to worry as much." (Twilight did so). As I was playing threw the level, I looked at everyone as their mouth was open and their eyes were glued on the screen. My eyes were went back to the screen.
As I sat there playing Gears of War 2 with everypony watching to see if I could get the two out of the game. (In the game) Marcus, said Dom we need to clear the buildings of Locusts. (Back in rl) man I'm almost out of ammo.. ah there's a ammo crate over there and even grenades. It took four hours until I came to the last chapter. I hit the pause button and got up and stretched, everyone's eyes were still glued on the TV even though I paused it. I sat back down and resumed. OK all I have to do is use the Hammer of Dawn to blow up that Brumak. Marcus used it 3 times before the infected brumak started to blow up and the King Ravens evacuated to the surface with everyone, then showing Jacinto falling underground as Water started to fill the crater.
As the credits were playing A spark came from the TV, and Spike and Rarity appeared they were scared and shocked at the same time.

"Thank you Barry for escorting us out of there otherwise we'd be dead by now", said Rarity. Spike was kissing the ground. Everyone else was looking at them and then turned their attention to Barry.

"Ummm (looking at them as they stared at me.) well Twilight let's not do that again unless I get to go into the videogame too". I chuckled a little as I told them. Next thing I knew everyone but Chrysalis dog piled on me ( Chrysalis was sleeping on the couch peacefully.)" Twilight, please let me take the rest of my things home so we don't have another unexplained occurrences again", and she agreed. I had to make 2 trips home, one for the Items and the second was to carry Chrysalis and put her in bed. I told Twilight before I left carrying Chrysalis, thanks for the fun night and then AJ came up to me and told me to come tomorrow after lunch so I could rest, and I agreed.
After I laid Chrysalis down in the bed and put the covers over her. I decided to go and take a shower and then crawled into bed right next to her, It was 4 in the morning as I feel asleep. As I dreamt that I was laying on a crystal clear beach with all my friends and Chrysalis was in her human form wearing a sexy neon green bikini sun bathing. A voice came from behind kind of startling to me as I looked around.

"Hi Barry", said Luna. Hope I didn't scare you.

"No your fine Luna. What brings you to my dreams", I asked her?

"I just wanted to personally thank you for saving Rarity and Spike, you didn't have to do it but you still did anyways even know I saw that Chrysalis a little mad and also she was rubbing her stomach.."

"Hmmm, ok but I thought it was the right thing to do after all what happened when I first came over here. Got to make amends somehow. Yea I know she gets a little grumpy when I'm not focusing only on her but what can I say, you needed help and only I could help...."

"yep, also I would like to show you something and please don't take no offence please."

"Ok" I told her, as she showed the real Chrysalis and how she tried to take over the entire Equestria. "Hmmm ok interesting so she was evil but then since I came around she's been nice and polite to me".

"Well it's the fact that your reforming her and you two don't even realize it", said Luna and "not to be rude it's making everybody easier to be around her now since your around. Well I have to go scan everypony else's dreams it was nice talking to you, later." (She disappeared.)

"Hmmm ok. Later Luna." Since I knew I was now in a dream the whole landscape changed into my videogame Doom3. It was the first level, Mars City. (IN DREAM) I was walking down the corridor carrying my issued shotgun when the whole facility started to shake. My partner Joe was walking next to me and we feel to the ground.. Is this an earthquake? No I don't think so Joe. Our earpieces were going off, something about demons attacking the facility from the inside. We looked at each other, boy someone's sure having fun, yea said Joe. Just as we reached the sliding doors, they opened and thing jumped through and grabbed Joe. I fired a shot into its back killing it and helped Joe to his feet, I needed to find him a medkit fast. More screaming came through the earpieces. (They are everywhere and they are slaughtering us... then complete silence.) I rushed to the administration desk and opened a drawer pulling out the medkid and started to patch Joe up as he yelled behind you. As I turned another demon punched me in face and I was able to grab its arm and (WOKE UP FROM DREAM)

"Woa that was crazy," I looked at what was in my hand seeing the Demons (IMP) arm was laying in my lap and I hopped out of bed and threw the arm into a bag. I looked at the clock it was 9 A. M. and I rushed over to Twilights house and knocked on her door.
"Hi Barry, what's in the bag", I asked him?
I told her about my dream and waking up holding this arm..... I let her have the bag as she examined the arm on a table in the basement.

"Hmm", well Barry, "I think you manifested it when you woke up from your dream... Has this ever happened before?"

"No Twilight, this is a first. "

"Well you'd better get home before Chrysalis wakes up to find out your not there", said Twilight still looking at the arm.

"Thanks Twilight" and went back home and made a cheese sandwich in the kitchen as Chrysalis walked down sleepily. "Hi sweetie, you sleep well"?

"Yep," (she was still in her pony form/changeling form) she used her magic to put my arm on her belly. Smiling, and kissed Barry's cheek.
I smiled and rubbed her belly, and also let her take half of my sandwich.

"Barry, I need to tell you something that's very important.." she looked down.

"Ok, sweetie what's on your mind," looking at her, and noticing a tear running down her cheek. "Is there something wrong? ...."

"I...... I'm... pregnant..." looking down, I felt a warm hand start rubbing my side. Looking up so see Barry not mad or anything that I feared.
"It's ok Chrysalis, I'll be here for you", smiling as I lifted her head. Kissing her on her lips. "I'll always be here for you."

"I was only thinking about how you were going to react to my news and I'm glad you're happy. I jumped into his arms. Hey what's in your pocket?...."

"..My pocket? I don't think anything and as I stuck my hand into the pocket to find a Ring in it...." There was also a note tied to it.

Thank you for everything last night. Please give this to Chrysalis when the time is right.
From Celestia and Luna (under Luna's signature she tied to draw me and Chrysalis side by side.)

I laughed and put the ring on Chrysalis horn and she gasped.

"Where did you get this?" I was it shock as Barry put his hands around me. I looked at the diamond ring that sat on my horn. "It's beautiful Barry". I jumped on him kissing him over and over. "So does this mean that you..... want to marry me.."?

"Well sweetie, I did put the ring on you ", I laughed a little as she blushed." Besides the little one is going to need a whole family, don't you agree"? (She nodded.) Put my hand around her and went and laid back down on the bed and she laid her head on my chest and slept peacefully. I put my arms around her because I knew that she was afraid that I would of not accepted her as a mate.

I was so happy that Barry was ok with me carrying their little one. Even though I was scared shitless he reassured me that everything will be ok. I smiled while I laid on his chest. I didn't want to ever leave his side, I thought. I closed my eyes and went to sleep.
It was twenty minutes till 1 and I knew I had to work at the Apples orchard. I looked at Chrysalis still sleeping peacefully, I didn't want to leave her but I knew I would get into trouble if I didn't. I lifted her head slowly and managed to do it without waking her up and put a pillow under her head and kissed her on her cheek and put my hand for a few seconds on her belly. I got dressed for work and I put my necklace around her neck (stargate Sg1 ). Opened the front door and walked to Sweet Apple Acres with my I pod playing Disturbed, Down with the Sickness. It took me a few minutes to walk but I got there and AJ told me to pick the apples that don't make it in the baskets to put them in and load the wagons.
It was easy work for the first few hours but when it was time to haul the carts to the barn, that's where I started to wear out. We took a break after the first haul of wagons and I used my knife and cut a Green Apple into pieces and ate it that way. After the little break we got the 8 remaining carts into the barn and she said that's it for the day, and said I'll be back tomorrow morning to resume working.

The sun was just starting to set as I walked back in the house to find Chrysalis still sleeping in the bed but she had changed into her human form. She had started to shiver and I put a blanket over her to keep her warm. I went to the bathroom and took a shower cleaning the smell of apples off my skin. I got out and got dressed and laid in bed next to Chrysalis and took her hand with mine and held it smiling. As I was starting to dose off she started to wake up and moved her head back on my chest and put her arms around me and went back to sleep. I went to sleep just a few minutes after Chrysalis went to slept.
(Barry's Dream)

As I dreamt where I left off giving Joe the med pack, fixing his wounds. Luna appeared again with her sister Celestia and paused Barry's dream . I looked around, "what the hell. Oh sorry Luna and Celestia, I wasn't expecting you two to come into my dream".

"It's ok" said Celestia, "what dream is this"?

"This is from the videogame Doom 3 but I changed it around a little bit to suit my needs. Most people would consider this a night mare but to me it's a normal dream. So anyways what brings you two here? "

"We wanted to congratulate your reforming of Chrysalis," said Celestia.

I raised an eyebrow. "Umm please explain because we just act like any other couple. Luna did show me the other day of how she used to be but she has never been that way around me . Besides she just told me that she's pregnant this morning and was really scared that I would leave her when I found out... but I just had to keep reassuring her that I'd be here for her".

"Well Barry, Congregations", said Luna as she wrapped her hooves around Barry's neck.

"I'll give you my blessings," said Celestia." So tell me ... Is she going to be your marefriend or marewife?"

"Wife, if the life inside her is mine I will do my part and make sure to keep Chrysalis happy and safe", I told them. "Oh by the way Celestia and Luna thanks for the Ring." ( they tried to be like what ring until I showed them the letter with Luna's doodle.)

"Oh that ring", Celestia chuckled and laughed at Luna's doodle. Luna blushed as her sister looked at the doodle. I stood next to Luna as Celestia grabbed a piece of paper and started to doodle. ( I thought un pause and the dream started back up again and Joe had gotten up looked at me and asked me who they were. I told him that we have to escort them to the elevator that leads to the Alpha labs. (Celestia and Luna were shocked so see that he started the dream again,)" Hey you wanted to learn about me while I dream so here is your chance". Picking up my shotgun, Joe followed me down the dark corridor. As a Imp jumped out of the air vent I unleashed 2 rounds into the Imps chest blowing it up. "Come on Joe, we need to meet up with Delta and or Bravo squad pronto". Up ahead was the infirmary, there was someone laying on the table. As we went through the door the patient sat up and rushed us and Joe put at least 20 rounds with his machinegun into the chest of the patient but as we walked close the blood was black and not red. hmmm.
As they progressed through the facility. Celestia and Luna wondered how Barry didn't consider this to be a nightmare.
Then the unthinkable happened to Barry ,Luna, and Celestia screamed.
As I walked around the corner slowly a marine with his neck broken shot me 3 times in the gut until Joe got him dead and then ran up to me, as I laid against a crate looking at my vest which was completely shot up. As he removed the vest, I looked down and saw my stomach seeing the where the shotgun blast had made it through the vest and into my upper chest. "This is going to ruin my day Joe". I started to cough up blood and told him to leave me and I'd cover him as he continued .

I woke up from the dream leaning straight up breathing heavily feeling where It felt like I had gotten shot and I noticed that I brought something from my dreams back into this world..... the shotgun with only 3 rounds in it. I quickly put the gun under the bed and noticed that Chrysalis was looking at me.

"Are you ok Barry", I asked. "Your breathing hard and a little pale".

"It's ok Chrysalis" putting my hand around her." It was just a bad dream", Kissing her forehead. (she rolled over me her naked body over me.)

"Are you sure your alright", I asked him again? I decided to lay on top of him for the rest of the night to keep him safe from whatever got to him. Kissed him and I put his hand on my belly and held it there for a while. "I'm not going to leave you for the rest of the night until you have to go to work tomorrow morning," and kissed him again and she fell asleep on top of Barry.

"Thanks sweetie", letting her stay on top of me. I smiled and went back to sleep. This time it was a peaceful dream at the beach with everyone there. I woke up and saw that it was 4:30 in the morning and realized that Chrysalis was out of bed. I went to the doorway and saw her in the bathroom throwing up. "Are you ok? How long have you been in here?"

"I'm sorry Barry, I didn't mean to wake up or want you to see me like this". (Her head went back down into the toilet and started to throw up again.) As I looked back at him, I realized that he was sitting next to me rubbing my back. "Barry, I've been here for about maybe 20 minutes and I think I'm ok". I got up and laid back down on the bed. Barry came in the room with a trashcan and put it on my side of the bed. He tucked me in the bed, and went and brought a glass of water, which was just what I was about to ask him for one. Smiling, "Barry, I am very happy to have met you," then I feel asleep.

I watched her drink the glass of water and kissed her. As she slept through to six and I already had breakfast prepared and brought it to her as she was waking up. "Good morning sweetie" as I put the plate of breakfast up to her and sat next to as I realized that it was about time for me to get to AJ's and start working. I got dressed quickly and told her I was about late to work and kissed her on her cheek and left.
When I reached the Apple farm gate, I saw AJ and her older brother Big Machintosh about to head into the barn to get ready. As I walked into the barn AJ handed me big empty crates and I loaded them into the carts then we all set out for the area where we were going to harvest. It took about 15 minutes to arrive to the to the West side of the orchard. As I was unloading the empty crates Aj and Big Machintosh were almost filling them up as fast as I could unload them. Time was flying by as we worked and about 10:30, when the youngest Apple (Applebloom) arrived with 3 cold classes of water and we all drank and continued to 12, so I could get to Twilights house and start work for her.

I stopped at the house first and checked in oh Chrysalis. She was very happy that I stopped by to see her and she asked me if she could come along with me to Twilight's and I told her, "I don't see any reason why can't come with me." I closed the door after we exited the house and we started our journey towards Twilights house and we entered." Hello Twilight I'm here. No answer ... Just as I was about to say are your here when".

"Oh hi Barry, Chrysalis" said Twilight cheerfully. "Oh Chrysalis what a pretty ring, did Barry propose to you"? Chrysalis nodded cheerfully." Congratulations to the both of you. So Barry are you ready to charge the rings some more"?

"Sure", I told her they all went down to the basement and saw that there were more rings attached to the machine this time and there were rings that were ready to be charged. I saw Chrysalis look at them for just a second and I saw that she was trying to resist I walked over to her and asked if everything was ok. She nodded and sat down at a chair, and watched as I started the process of charging of the rings. While the rings were charging we went back up into the main part of her house.

"So Barry, Chrysalis , umm ... have you guys ... umm had ."(Barry put his finger to her mouth).

"Yes Twilight" rubbing Chrysalis's belly, then putting his arm around his future wife's shoulders, smiling.

It took me a minute to process what Barry said and meant. "PREGNANT........ you....... her.......pregnant.......... "

Barry and me watched Twilight walk out of the house... I grabbed Barry's hand and held him close. I was scared now that somepony knew about the pregnancy, I knew that Barry knew that I was afraid.

"Chrysalis it will be ok", I told her, that I wouldn't let anything happen to their unborn child. Kissed her forehead. I just kept reassuring her that everything would be ok until the front door opened. Six ponies including Twilight appeared in front of us.

They all started questions in front of us left and right and Chrysalis laid her head on my shoulders, and I caught her little crown before it hit the floor and put it back on her head. "Just one question at a time please, I told them".

"Is it a filly or a stallion", asked Rarity?

"I don't know yet", I told her. "She just let me know yesterday and the baby can't been only a week or two."

"Can I babysit once he or she is born", asked Pinky Pie?

"Lets wait and see for now I told her but I'll keep you in mind Pinky". I could see that all the questions had been answered and Chrysalis sat up a little dizzy and laid back down in my lap, had to catch her crown again and this time I put it next to us. Everyone left eventually and Twilight looked after Chrysalis while I took the rings off the charging station and went back to Chrysalis who was still lying on the chair a little green in the face. "Would you like to go home and lay down on the bed?"

"Yes please", I told him.

I picked up her crown that was on the chair next to her and walked her to our house and opened the door. I could see that Chrysalis was really tired and I took her straight to the room and laid her down on the bed and putting the covers over her hooves, tucking her in. I also put her crown on her nightstand and asked her if she wanted any dinner. She said just a piece of bread then she wanted me to lay down next to her. I knew that she was still worried about Celestia and Luna trying to take their kid away from them. I went to the kitchen and brought her a piece of bread just as she requested and she ate it and I laid down with her and she took my hand and held me close. I shut my eyes and fell asleep.

(DREAM)
I was walking through the woods tracking a deer that I just shot, wanting to take it back to the camp to skin and collect the meat. When I found the deer only a few yards from where I shot, I saw that it was a clean wound and dragged the deer to the camp which was only 150 yards from my current location. I didn't mind as I walked that a cactus had gotten my boots, because I didn't feel them. When I made it back to the camp with the deer, I hoisted him on the lift and me and a couple hunting buddies started to skin the dear carefully. Jessie was skinning from the legs downward while Rob and Matt held the deer in one position.

"So Barry this is a nice 12 pointer deer", said Matt. I was told my face was priceless as Jessie accidently pierced the stomach when cutting around that area.
It was time to remove the guts... (everyone's favorite part). and the gut bucket was already filling up with blood then as we broke the rib cage the guts flew into the bucket making a splash with the blood already inside. Just as we were cutting the flesh and putting it into the sink, everything stopped again and I knew I had visitors once again. I wondered how they would react to this dream.
As me and my older sister walked out of the woods, we froze his dream and walked over to him. Hi Barry, ........ ummm what are you and your friends doing..... and what is that hanging.....

"Umm I can explain", I walked over to them with a clean towel removing the blood from my hands. Well me and my friends went hunting and we were able to get this deer and collect the deer's meat for us to eat and put in our freezers... (The sisters looked at each other). "You do realize that I am an Omnivore, I eat both plants and meat".

"Oh ok" they said nervously.

"Don't worry about on my planet we don't eat ponies or horses."
They sighed in relief.

"Besides what would Chrysalis think if she saw this. She's already scared because she thinks that you girls are going to take away our unborn child".

"Child"....said Celestia. "Please Barry tell me your joking", she was looking very serious.

"Yes, she is pregnant, and I'm always constantly telling her that everything will be ok and I'll be there for her. "

"Hmm" said, Celestia," well I'm happy for you two, (she looked worried and mad at the same time). Also Twilight told me that you proposed to her today, is this correct? "

"yes your highness", I told her.

"No need for that just call me Celestia."

"You can just call me Luna", as she butted in.

"Ok, Celestia and Luna. Luna, I have a question for you."

"Ok what is it Barry"?

"Well the past couple of nights I've been manifesting things in my dreams and its started when I first arrived here."

"Well, you're the second person that I know with that ability, so it's very rare... In three days you and Chrysalis come to Canterlot and we will continue our chat there. Also please don't manifest that would hurt anypony."

"I understand."

"Ok", (they left).

It was 1:30 in the morning when I awoke and looked around. Chrysalis was sleeping peacefully (pony/changeling form.) I put my right hand against her feeling her soft breathing, I smiled. Tomorrow will be a good day I thought to myself.

Author's Note

Barry's starting to realize his role in Equestria in reforming his future wife. Will their kid be a male or female? human or hybrid... Will
Twilight put Barry in Doom3 for vacation and let him enjoy being in a game. All questions will be reveled in future chapters. Come on folks give me some input in what you want to see. I'm going to start on another book soon and work on both so yep.....
