Richard raleigh was on his knees. The destruction of the city had halted. Baron blitzkrieg had a gun pointed to his head. Richard knew at this point it was the end. not even micheal could save him now, his wings had been cut off, now grounded. The police would arrive soon and the baron would be locked away forever. In this final moment, Richard knew that he had saved the city. All the crime fighting as the red bee and now his eventual death. It was all worth it. The plastic sleeves were ripped and irreparable. Didn't matter any way.

"This is what it has fanally come to. Me standing over you, and you practically kneeling to me? I thought you were better than this. I won't die today. I could escape. But you... there is nowhere for you to go now! any last words?" the baron says to the red bee, trying to be intimidating, but even he knows there is is no escape now.

The Red Bee looks up to the baron seriously, trying not to show fear. "There will be no escape for you, just as there is none for me. You will pay for your crimes."

The Red Bee closes his eyes hard, awaiting his demise.

BANG!

The Red Bee waits. The gun has gone off but he was still alive. This can't be possible. Had the baron really chosen to spare somebody? No. That can't be right.

The Red Bee opens his eyes, releasing the tension in his mind. Where he would have been seeing the pavement of the street of superior city, he saw grass. Flowers, clovers, dandelions. Now that he can see this, the pain from his broken leg was now gone. He brings his hands up from his sides to see them perfectly clean and smooth. No cuts. No bruises. He snaps his head up real quick, looking all around to see trees. Big brown trunks. Crisp green leaves.

Richard had no idea that this was possible. How this was possible. He stands up to get a better view and to be ready for what ever might happen. He surrveys the the area, but nothing seems to be wrong. all around him is just grass and trees and forest.

Suddenly, a bee flys infront of Richards face. Richard is startled and falls into a fighting stance but comes to the quick realization of who this is. "Micheal? Is that you?"

Buzz buzz

"Micheal! I knew it was you. And you've got your wings back." Richard exclaims to his partner, his best friend.

Richard couldn't begin to know how he would feel if he had been lost without micheal. speaking of lost, where is he? Richard looks around and then motions for Micheal to get into his belt.

"You are going to be safe in here. I need to know where we are before we know we can be safe." He closes the little hatch after micheal flys in.

He begins forward. He looks to the sky to see the sun in the lower regions of the sky. He's either heading north or south. He'll be able to know for sure once the sun moves along in the sky.

Richard kept at a steady pace. He is now coming up to a bee hive on a tree. It's the only change he has seen in miles. He had looked up at the sky several times during his pace. None of the times had the sun moved at all.

Before walking up to the hive, he lets out a small telepathic wave of warning to the bees. He doesn't want to make his first contact with this hive on a bad note.

He now stands directly next to the hive. The bees are now staring at him, stopping work to make sure that this big red thing isn't a threat. "Hello fellow bees. My name is Richard. I am an attorney at superior city in oregan," he tells the bees, reciting what he has learned is appropriate to tell bees on first impressions, "I was just wondering if you could escort me to the nearest form of civilization. I seem to have gotten my self... uh... lost."

Buzz buzz buzz buzz'z buzz

"There's a what nearby?" Richard asks, trying to figure out the bee's weird accent.

Buzz'z

"A cottage. That sounds great. Would you mind if I could get some directions?" Richard asks, Now relieved that he doesn't have to walk much longer.

Buzz buzz-buzz

"You want me to bring you along? I suppose I could carry the hive. Well then, grab hold of something and lead the way." Richard reaches up to the branch and unhooks the wax that was holding it dangling in place. He puts it under his arm and a bee flys out in a perpindicular direction that Richard was already walking. If he hadn't come across the bee hive he would've completely walked past it.

Richard stays close behind as the bee led him a kilometer or so. The trees break apart into a clearing with a, what seems to be a small ranch like place. A small house is at the top of a small hill in the center of a gulf of trees. Around the house, pens and coups cover, holding several different species of animals. Richard looks beyond it to see a small town.

He can now see some slight movement sround the corner of the house. He walks up to the house and ducks bhind a small bush to get a better view of the scene, not trying to alarm anyone.

Now with a better view of what's going on, The Red Bee is horrified by the sight he is seeing. A small, yellow, winged horse is beating up a large bear. Before Richard can decide what to do, the small horse jumps on the bear's back and snaps it's neck. With anger now flashing through Richard's eyes, after hearing the loud cracks of the bear's neck, Richard jumps out of the bush he's hiding behind and pulls the bee hive out in front of him.

"Small yellow creature! You shall pay for your merciless crime against nature," he points to the small horse, that is now on the ground terrified by the thing with the bee hive in his hand, with his free hand. "Bees! Attack!"

With that, the bees swarm out of the hive directly at the horse. The horse quickly starts galloping away with a swarm of bees chasing it towards the town he will soon be headed towards.

"Well that certainly was something. What the butter basket was that thing. I have never seen anything so brutal towards a bear. Towards anything really." He looks over to the dead bear corpse, but it seems to be gone though. "Huh."

Richard puts the hive back under his arm and walks over to the front door of the small cottage. He places it then standing upright to the side of him. A guy in a weird costume coming to your door would be weird enough, and Richard didn't want to give the owner a complete scare. Hopefully, the owner will know who he is. His exploits have traveled great distances in the past.

Knock knock

No answer. one minute later. no answer. "Great. I guess I'm headed to the town straight away. Would have rather gotten the information from somebody a little more remote, but beggers can't be choosers."

Richard picks the bee hive back up and on que, the bees return from their chase of the creature.

Buzz buzz

"It outran you? Well, I suppose you should get back inside the hive for now. Your going to need your rest if any more show up." He tells the swarm of bees, who then slowly gather back into the hive.

Richard begins his walk to the town and now notices all the looks he's getting from the animals. He doesn't stop walking but feels slightly nervous of what they might do.

Richard gets a safe distance away from the animals to look back and check if anything has changed. The have gone back to eating food and whatever animals do. Richard's mind is washed over with relief as he continues his walk down the narrow path to the road.

Coming up to a bridge, he can now spot movement. He can't quite make it out because the arc of the bridge is blocking most of the view. Walking up to the top of the bridge, he now feels terrified by the sight he sees. The town is popular with these creatures. They're sitting behind stalls, selling fruit and produce. Walking around with saddle bags, taking things out of them and putting things in. And worst of all, there are no other members of his species in sight.

Walking straight towards him, now he can see, is a purple one with a horn on it's head. trudging behind it is the yellow one from before. Richard sends out a telepathic warning for his bees to get ready. Who knows what could happen.

Now with anger filling the mind of Richard again from remembering what the yellow one had done to the poor bear, he reaches for his stinger ray at his side and begins to slowly march towards the oncoming horses.

"Purple one, I suggest you move aside from the yellow one. I don't want to bring harm to more than I have to." Rischard says to the purple one sternly, but it doesn't move. Richard can now see that all the horses that have previously been moving around are now gone.

"I do not take it lightly when somepony attacks my friends. Leave now or bear the consequences." The purple one demands. Richard is stunned by the fact that the purple one had just talked to him. He had never been able to take to any animals before aside from bees. And they're not even animals.

"One last chance to move aside or take the role of assisting a murder." He tells the purple one. Aside from raming him, there can't be much that this horse can do to stop him.

The purple horse's horn begins to charge with some sort of energy. Could this creature be attempting to fire this at him. It doesn't matter, this one has been warned. Now it must answer to him. Richard brings up the stinger ray and points it at the purple one.

Secretly, Richard releases the hatch on the back of his belt so that micheal could help.

Suddenly, the purple one releases a pulse of energy straight at him. By reflex, Richard fires the stinger ray straight at the incoming projectile. The two collide mid-air and release a small explosion. Just enough to knock Richard off of his feet and onto his back.

Richards breath has been nocked out of him and he takes a small moment to regain. This has given the purple one enough time to trot up to him and charge it's horn again.

Could this be the end for our hero? Will he be able to defeat the purple one? What goes on with the yellow one while the battle between our hero and the purple one ensues? Find out next time on The Red Bee: Isolation.
