Previous Chapter

Last time, on The Red Bee: Isolation, our hero was mysteriously teleported to a new land. He gained an ally of a hive of bees and got into a fight with a purple horse that was defending the criminal yellow one. Knocked back after a collision of weaponry, our hero lies on the ground, about to be shot  by the purple one's powerful horn.

The purple one has Richard in it's grasp. But our hero has not lost hope, for he still has a couple tricks up his plastic sleeves. "Micheal now!"

"Son of of. What the buck was that?" The purple one yells, reeling backwords after being stung by the purple one. Richard has always been able to relay on Micheal and Micheal delivers.

Richard takes the opportunity of the purple one being on it's hind legs. He rolls his knees up to his chest and kicks with enough power to throw the purple one onto it's back, giving Richard plenty of time to stand back up and collect his belongings, including his stinger ray and his hive of bees.

Richard pushes out his arms toward the two small horses. Now he can see the yellow one helping the purple one to it's hooves. "Bees! If your ready, now would be the best chance to attack."

The two horses look in horror as the swarm of bees rush out of the hive straight towards them. This time, the yellow one stand protectively in front of the purple one. Once having a look of horror in it's eyes, Now having the most powerfully stern expression The Red Bee had ever witnessed aimed straight at the bees. With this, the bees stopped. Just stopped.

Through the telepathic field emitting from the bees, Richard can feel the most terrifying feeling he had ever witnessed. Thats two records in one. Never before had a creature gotten between him and his bees in such a way. The telepathic field emitted loyalty. But no longer to the queen, instead, to the horse. The feeling had begun to spread to him as well. Obey.

Richard pulls himself out of it as he feels drowl start to slide down his neck. Now suddenly, there were more of them. An orange horse and a white one had appeared. How long had he been stood there, feeling the gaze and the hivemind.

Richard quickly draws his stinger from the holster at his side. But it isn't there. Looking over to the purple one, who was quietly speaking to the orange one, he could see it hovering in the air in front of it. The horses horn had the same glow around it as the stinger ray. Could this be some form of telekinesis? He had already seen the power of the horn before. What else could it do?

The orange one looks over to him to see that he has awoken from his hypnosis. The yellow one was now leading the bees back into their hive that had been set by a small bush. "Alright partner. We can do this the easy way or the hard way. Leave now. or be put t' sleep"

This one appeared to have a southern accent. Richard new that he couldn't just leave. He had never surrendered before, and he wasn't going to start. Anyways, they had his stinger ray and his bees. He had no choice but to stay and fight. He decided to stand his ground. He knew he couldn't go onto the offensive at this point, but he still had a pretty good defensive.

"That's how it's gonna be. The hard way it is." The orange one said as it grew closer. "Lets hope your bones are stronger than they look."

Richard flinched at what the creature said but stood his ground as it drew closer. It got real cozy up close before reaching out a hoof straight towards his chest. Richard's reflexes kick in and he pulls in the horse to the side of him and jabs at a spot on the neck that would normally temporarily paralyze them, but instead, hits hard muscle. To be fair, that wasn't the braightest move. He had no I dea of the horse anatomy anyways. After that trick doesn't get much but an 'oof,' he slams his knee into the chest of the horse and turns to try and push the horse the the ground by firmly forcing a palm in between the shoulder blades. This doesn't work, but instead, pushes the horse further behind him.

Now realizing his mistake of being dirctly behind a horse, it is to late, as he gets bucked. He is sent flying off the bridge, into the dirt road, his mask the only thing protecting him from sharp rocks against his face. This being the final straw that breaks the camels back, Richard fights but slowly falls unconscious.

He hears the final words come from the purple one saying, "Nice work applejack. Tie him up and let's get him back to the library for examination.

Our hero awakend with a head ache that kill kill a horse. He opens his eyes to find a purple muzzle right in his face, giant eyes staring down at him. Richard trys to jump out of his position, but finds that his arms and legs have been tied down. Now with nothing to do, he scowls at the purple horse face staring at him. Somehow, a smile forms on it's face.

"Finally awake, huh. you sure must have hit your head hard. You've been out for a couple hours." The purple horse says to him, almost seeming concerned.

"You'll never get a word out of me!" Richard yells at the face, now backed away.

"Well, then your off to a pretty bad start. But let's not start off on the wrong hoof shall we." The purple horse says using moderately amusing horse puns.

Richard doesn't say a thing. As an attorney, he has learned how and when to talk in dire situations.

"Alright then. If you refuse to talk, then it seems that I must make you talk. I was really hoping it didn't have to come down to this, but it seems you have forced my hoof." Richard doesn't like this. The creature didn't try much in diplomacy and would rather move straight on to torture. He just hopes that Micheal will be able to save him some how. Who knows what terrifying methods this creature may use.

What will our hero do next? How will he escape? What devious ways will the purple horse take to aquire information from our hero? Find out next time on The Red Bee: Isolation.
