This is the journal of a bright but reckless working class student, Steel Cog, recently transferred from Manehattan High, who attempts to spread Marxist ideology to Canterlot High.

The entire student body is governed by the iron fist rule of Sunset Shimmer, prom queen three years running and arbiter of student relations, and she will stop at nothing to keep it that way. She easily puts fear into most students, but Steel has ambition and a rougher background. Power-hungry and apathetic to the feelings of others, he is just as willing as Sunset Shimmer to step on anyone who gets in his way.
