Lyra and her adventures with a poor soul

                                                                     The human's point of view

     Dark, no light, wait yes light, green light. Pulsing light, my body aches. I can't feel my left arm, where am I? I'm dead aren't i, shit! No I'm still here, wherever here is anyway. My left arm is numb, can't feel shit. What am I in, it looks like a cocoon, GAH! A sharp pain entered my left arm. I feel around for something, I can't even see much, it's all such a blur. My right hand reaches foreword to touch the cocoon wall.

     "Well well well, the pest rises.". I know that voice.

     "Says the over grown insect Queen.". Yep now I definitely know I'm not dead.

     "How dare you speak to your Queen this way!". Wow, she is an idiot. Whatever, I can get outta here pretty quickly with the... Son of a bitch! The bitch stole my axe! Fricken... What ever, at least she was stupid enough not to search me... I hope. When I mentioned I would take her horn, I only wanted a better one then the one I had.

     "Please just leave me so I can die in peace". She then started to laugh.

     "I find you amusing pest, I believe you can charm your way into any situation.".

     "Oh crystal, your so flattering. So you want me to stop everyone using pesticides or something.". Another low growl was heard through my cocoon.

     "You shall address your Queen as, Queen Crystal... Wait NO! UGH! Whatever, you will learn respect when you are apart of the hive mind. You see the cocoon you're in?". I don't like where this is going.

     "I can't really see shit, it's all blurry, are you going the hypnotize me or somethin?". Another laugh rang through the cocoon. It's starting to hurt my ears.

     "Gee wiz lady, you had to make this thing echo didn't you?". Once again a annoyingly loud laugh 'twas heard. I don't know why I said it like that.

     "It looks like your eyes and ears are adjusting to the improved senses, they won't change form until later though.".

     "What are talking about buggy.". She start to cackle but I quickly cut her off.

     "Stop monologuing and give it to me straight Buggy.". I swear, if she laughs, growls, or does any other annoying evil thing, I'm going to break outta here earlier than I had planned.

     "Oh fine, but first I must go feed. Your killing spree left me without any scouts to watch over you. See you after your transformation pest.".

     "Ok see you later Buggy". Now is my chance, I gonna kill her soon but, I need my axe. I have one one the insects horns in my left sleeve, gives a whole new meaning to that meme, is it even a meme? Well whatever I can figure that out later... I just gotta rebch for my left ar-. As I reached for my sleeve I feel that something is off, way off. This... This isn't my arm, it's too rough, and smooth. I look over as see... Well I don't know what it is, but it's attached to me, where my arm used to be. It's a... Hoof. An insect hoof.

                                                               A few minutes of confusing and horrid cursing lataa!

     Ok analyze, Queen dumbass said something about this cocoon, and a transformation. It's this cocoon isn't it? Well what ever I was gonna breakout of hear anyways. I reach up my left sleeve, shuddering at the new feel of the new arm... Hoof... Foreleg? Yep, Queen Crystal did forget to check me, idiot. The walls of my cocoon give to the sharp horn and I fall about five feet.

      "Gah-". I instantly shut my self up as I here the hoof steps of a certain Bug. I look around for somewhere to hide, in the corner I see my axe... What an idiot! At least make this a little bit challenging. As I go for my axe I see a hole that is just my size.

      "The creature has escaped!!!! To arms changelings, we must find it and kill it!". Right then the noise of a million insect wings, and let me tell you something bub! When you get improved hearing, this noise sucks! As the excitement dies down I decide it might be time to get the heck outta dodge. I crawl out of my hidey hole and look at my surroundings with... My Improved sight? Holy mother of macadamias! I think I can get used to this sight thing. I'm in well I giant hive, that's so cliché for a Bug Queen.

      "You pest!". I don't eve have time time to turn around when I get blasted forward. I struggle back up, fricken SOB! How many more times is she gonna do that! Ok whatever, GEEZ IT HURTS, ok let's do this!

      "Welcome back Buggy, now let's not monologue and let's fight already. Also, make this little more challenging will ya?". She then shouted something I couldn't understand. I hear some buzzing behind me, as I turn around I see about ten of the Insects. Flying towards me... Shitty guards. I start to run towards Chrysalis. As I get closer I notice another ball is starting to form, I think it's time to test the strength of my new... (Shiver)... Hoof. I swing it toward her face as hard as I can. Holy shit! As I make contact she f****** goes flyin!

     "Take that biotch! I gotta say... I can't completely hate you for this. Well let's make a deal, I won't kill you if, you turn me back and get me outta the hive and the forest.". I listen for a response but I hear none, no remark to death, evil laugh, not even a growl. I turn around to see that the... Scouts as she called them, on the ground wailing in pain. What's going on?

     "Umm Crystal? You ok?". I hear a moan of agony in the corner. I go over and see Buggy sprawled out on the floor. Holy ssshhhiiitt! She has a crack going through the whole side of her head where I struck her my the hoof. Tears are coming out of her eyes like you wouldn't believe. It almost makes me forgive her for turning me into an insectiod... NOT.

     "I'm disappointed Buggy, thought you were an all powerful Queen? You gonna let a human with a fire axe and an insect arm stop you?".

     "Please, stop... Just leave u u us.".

     "Leave! Leave! You want me to leave after you turned me into a freak, left me in a cocoon, and attacked me twice!".

     "Please, we h h have no m m more (huff) b b business with you. Just... Go.". I can't believe it, she thinks? What? F***!

     "Show me out of the hive, and the forest, then I'll leave you alone".

     "O o o ok". She struggles to get up and fall back down.

     "P p please, c can you help me up.".

     "Umm ok? How do I help you up when you need four hooves to walk.". She reaches her hoof up to me and motions me to grab it, I hesitantly grab it. She then stands up using my hand as balance.

     "I'm ok now you may (huff) release my hoof.". I let go and she stumbles forward catching herself before she falls.

     "Th th this way.". She lowers her horn, her horn starts to glow an dark shade of green as the wall spreads apart, unveiling a hill downwards, I'd hate to fall down that.

     "I hate to admit it Crystal, but that was pretty cool.". She motions me to come over, as I'm walking forward I see the faint glow that surrounds her horn get brighter. She still thinks she has a chance, I think I have an idea that might stop her.

     "That's it Buggy I want that horn!". I run towards her, put the axe as high as it can go... AND WITH THE STRENGTH OF A THOUSAND MOONS... I swing at her horn.

     "AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!". The axe goes swiftly through her horn, it's laying on the floor right next the me... I grab it and shove in my pocket... but I'm pushed down the hill by one of the scouts that somehow had the strength to get up and shove me.

     "F YYYYYYOOOOOOOUUUUUUU!!!!". As I'm rolling down the steep hill I hit about 4 thorn bushes, 1 tree, and 1 flower bush. As I hit the ground I can't move, my axe is still In my hand, and... Holyshitthishurtsso****much!

     "Someone, please help... Help me".
