Chapters England, London. 17th February of the year 20XX. 2:01 am.
A man was walking out of the pub and he could barely walk.
He was drunk as hell and he didn’t know who he was; where was he going or where was he. He walked around a bit and the drunken man entered an alleyway trying to get a place to make the stress go by making his beer go away with a hot flow of piss. Enjoying this simple action; he imagined himself in heaven. When he finished he shook his member to dissipate the little drops of urine.
Ready to go he took his zipper up. But his vision he felt something on his neck that was suffocating him.
He lost sense but he didn’t die.
Quickly the man that attacked him called another two ripped guys with a whistle. These guys took him from his shoulders and feet to a black van.
Once there; the man that suffocated the drunken man talked in a walkie-talkie.
“We got the subject, White Cotton. Over”
An intelligent and deep voice came out of the walkie-talkie in answer.
“Copy that. Bring him to the quarters, Black Shadow. Over”.
Black Shadow answered, “Copy, I’m coming home now, White Cotton. Over”.
Black Shadow was all alone with the drunken man while the other two were now in the front driving the van to the quarters.
Black Shadow saw him with compassion, “Poor bastard. He don't deserve this but no one will miss him”.
England, Location Unknown. 3:17 am.
They approached a big gate.
Some guards were there. Their uniform had an insignia of a unicorn proudly looking to nowhere in reflection.

“Hello, Big Al. I can see your mission was a success. You have the subject, don’t you?”
Big Al pointing at the back in a proudly expression got out of the van to open the doors and show him the drunken man. When they opened it Black Shadow was sitting there in meditation. Until he realized the doors were open and with a smile in his lips he greeted the his two co-workers.
“Good night, Big Al, Russell.”
He pointed to the man who was unconscious on the floor.
“Here is the subject. Let us in, Russell. The sooner we get in; the sooner the dream will come true.”
Russell smiled and looking at Big Al who was smiling too, “Okay, Black Shadow”, and giving the order to open the gates.
Once they got in the installations a big garage opened letting the van get inside a great building. Big enough to hide something from the world and keep it unaware of the situation.
A huge installation with the latest equipment could be seen.
Lots of scientists walked quickly from side to side manipulating something that looked like a big ring connected to another machines while it was being processed with some information applied by the scientists.
A black man approached the van with his arms extended and with a warm welcoming received the guys.
“Big Al! Black Shadow! Mike! I’m glad you guys made it! The dream its only one step closer”
He got closer to them and hugged Black Shadow.
“This is it my, man. The final experiment and calibration, so, we can go to the Promised Land”
Black Shadow with tears dropping through his eyes hugged back the black man and with exaltation on his voice replied, “Yes, finally; after all this years. We will finally go and meet them. I’m so happy, White Cotton”
White Cotton now with his own tears said to Black Shadow, “Me too, man. Me too.”
A scientist with a notepad came from the others and with a proper manner said, “We are ready, sir. We just need the subject for the process”
White Cotton left the hug and clearing his tears said, “Okay, Alex. Big Al, Mike. Bring the subject”.
The big men didn’t hesitate on the order and they were excited as well.
They carried the drunken man as they followed Alex to the big ring.
It was turned on and letting see a big blue hole to only god knows where.
Black Shadow and White Cotton walked together following the other four men to the ring. The entire scientists were standing in front of the ring waiting for the subject to come.
Once Alex, Big Al, Mike and the drunken man got in front of it; all the people started a countdown as Big Al and Mike prepared to throw the drunken man into the ring.
“Three! Two! One!”
At the last number Big Al and Mike threw the drunken man into the ring.
The drunken man got inside said ring and if he could see the wonderful things that happened through the travel. He would be amazed as beautiful colours and an incredible feeling of travel inundated the body of the drunken man.
Finally, landing somewhere in a big meadow with the moon light covering his face as the fireflies were dancing around a beautiful river covered by some cute flowers.
A yellow pony with pink hair was walking around on this amazing place and noticing the new creature before her and with exclamation she talked to herself.
“Oh my, poor thing. All alone in the dark with no protection! I must help it.”
She got closer to the man and watching his state. She could tell. He had a red mark on his neck and he was on alcohol state meaning someone tried to kill it. So she with all her strength took the man on her back.
“Oh, you’re too heavy… Don’t worry mister. I’m going to take care of you. Now you just relax” and the man like if he was listening to the yellow pony answered.
“Yes mom. Five minutes more. I don’t wanna go to school…”
The yellow pony giggled, “You think I’m your mom”, and she went to her house happily because she founded a new specimen of animal she hasn’t seen before.
Chapter 1. "Where the beer at?
Chapter 1. "Where the hell am I?
The sun was rising and it looked like a wonderful day to give a walk outside or to work hard.
The man covered in a blanket founded himself awake and looking around with a blurry sigh and a terrible headache.
Naturally, he complained, “Aahhh… god damn it. My head…” He took a hand to his head and beagn to rub it in hopes to make the pain disappear.
A gentle voice with a femenine tone came out from his right.
“I see you are awake. Here, I made this for you”
She handed a cup of tea.
The man was about to take it with a smile on his face but he panicked and with an abrupt movement he got apart to another side to stay away from her.
“What!?! A… a… talking horse!!! Oh, mate. This is not good. I have to be dreaming!”
He pinched his face trying to wake himself but It was obvious. This was not a dream. He looked at the confused pony; a fear appeared on his being.
“No no no no no no no. This isn’t real”
He closed his eyes and he covered his face with his hands to make disappear the horror.
The confused pony tried to relax the man with concern and care.
“Now, now. Don’t get altered, mister. Take this tea. It will make you feel better”
She passed the cup again with her hooves. The man hesitated on taking it but he was thirsty and his throat was dry. So, with no other option he took the cup with a slowly movement. The man slurping his tea couldn’t quit his gaze from the yellow pony who was smiling to him with a gentle expression.
Like if it was a miracle. The headache stopped and he was feeling revitalized.
The pony watched the man’s expression of surprise so she talked in a happy statement, “I’m so happy it worked. I always take one when I party with my friend Pinkie” , She smiled in an innocent manner with her eyes in relieve.
The man stared at her still in fear.
The yellow pony noticed this and with a smile in her face she said, “Oh, how rude of me. I didn’t present myself. My name is Fluttershy. What’s your name?”
The man didn’t answer. He was looking at her in fear; his blue eyes could tell.
Fluttershy tried to make him come in confidence so she talked in a kind gesture.
“Come on. I’m not gonna hurt you. Please. I want to know your name. That’s all.”
The man looked at his sides with his eyes like trying to see if there was a way to scape.
Staring at the door; he felt like if freedom was calling for him and with no hesitation he ran to the door looking for the exit. He went downstairs in a hurry. He moved really quickly getting outside the little house.
In his effort to scape, he felt into the river that was outside and quickly trying to get desperately out of it but he started to elevate really slowly of the river like if something was helping him to get out. The man turned around his head to see what was happening and he watched Fluttershy.
She was making a huge effort to rescue him from it.
Fluttershy took him to the edge so she could rest and leave the man on land. The man was now confused.
This horse with wings saved his life and he was being a rude person by doing all this actions. So he timidly approached the pony heavily breathing to pet her mane witha a smile, “Thanks, Flutteshy…”
The man separated quickly his hand when she moved her head to see him. She had a beautiful smile. The man stared at her in awe.
Fluttershy was so cute.
“No need to thank. I helped and that makes me happy, more than anything:”
The man apologized, “Sorry about moments ago. I freaked out. I have never seen a talking horse before”, Fluttershy stared at the man in confusion.
“Oh forget what I said. Just... sorry. Look, I’m not much of a talking man but I really appreciate what you did for me.”
Fluttershy had a smile on her face once again and gently speaking said, “Oh, it’s okay. I like silence as a matter of fact.”, the man realized he hasn’t given his name.
“Oh, by the way. My name is Davey”
Fluttershy giggled making a hoof go to her mouth, “Oh, that’s such a cute name, Davey...”
Davey embarrassed looked to another side and his face turned red.
Davey helped her to stand up with a gentle movement and Fluttershy smiled as she said, “Thank you, Davey. I’m very grateful for your kind manner of treatment.”
Davey felt happy for the first time in a lot of time, someone cared for him. Someone was being nice to him.
Fluttershy started to walk to her house and with a nice movement said, “Come on Davey. Let’s have breakfast. You must be really, hungry.”
Davey stared with happiness to Fluttershy and started to follow her.
They got into her house as she directed herself to the kitchen, “Here Davey. Wait here until I bring the food. Okay?”
Davey noded in confirmation as he took a sit on the little couch and he inhaled some air. The house had a nice smell like tea and honey.
The decoration was like an old cabin for an old lady but it had its own style that made it completely clear a young lady was living there.
Davey was in these thoughts when a little white rabbit got close to him and he saw the rabbit with a smile.
“Hey there little buddy”
He tried to touch the rabbit but the bunny quickly jumped and hit him in the face.
Davey got very angry and he started to chase the rabbit searching for revenge.
“Come here you little twat! I will kill you!”
The rabbit got into the kitchen searching for Fluttershy’s protection.
Davey saw that the bunny was standing behind Fluttershy who was holding a tray with some cookies and tea.
Fluttershy saw Davey and smiling she talked to him, “Hey Davey. I can see you met, Angel. He is such a cute bunny. Aren’t you Angel?”
Angel nodded in amusement.
Davey could just fake a smile as he was thinking, “Stupid bunny. But I will have my revenge”
Fluttershy was still talking, “Davey, please help me with this while I get some food for little Angel here”
Angel nodded as he looked at Davey mocking at his reaction.
Davey got very angry but with all his power of will he gave a smile and took the tray to the living room.
Davey waited for Fluttershy sitting on the coach.
He wondered if she knew of the bunny’s behavior. Probably not. Why would she take care of such a rude creature?
Fluttershy entered the living room singing a little song.
Davey got very excited and had a desire to hug the pony but he resisted urge.
Fluttershy got near him as she sat on his side and looking at him in the most beautiful eyes he ever saw, she said, “Sorry I took so long. Angel didn’t wanted to eat his carrots”
Davey got very angry in his insides but he could simulate his anger.
“Oh really? What a rude bunny you have there.”
Fluttershy answered in giggles.
“Yeah, sometimes he can be very mean but he is a good bunny”
Davey could not believe it but he didn’t argued.
“But let’s talk about you! What are you? How did you end up here? I never seen a creature like you before”
Davey taking a cookie and eating it stared at Fluttershy.
“Well, I’m a man. A human being. Err… I don’t know how I ended up here. I just know I was drinking and the next it’s just blackness”
This was not a very good start. Telling some girl you have drinking problems it’s not a wise idea.
Fluttershy seemed worried.
“Are you okay? Did you have problems?”
This was incredible. Instead of having her thoughts in doubt about him, she tried to care all the time!
Davey felt his heart pound a lot. This was incredible. Davey answered, “Not really, I do it all the time but it appears that… I don’t know what happened”
Fluttershy slurped her tea while listening to Davey but she leaves it on the tray and staring at him in expectation she said, “Okay, Davey. Don’t worry. I’ll help you to make your living confortable in here. We can find a solution. I have one smart friend that will surely know what to do”
Davey was slurping the tea.
No matter what he didn’t wanted to leave. This place was perfect. Now, he had someone who cared for him. ‘In home’, he had a shitty job and an annoying boss. His girlfriend just left him a week ago because ‘he needed to do something’. He had no family, no friends. That’s when his drinking problems began. He was very lost and doomed.
Fluttershy stares at him with her cute eyes.
Davey looking at her dared a movement.
“Fluttershy. I really don’t want to leave. Nothing waits for me at home. I’m a complete failure, a looser.”
Fluttershy stared at him in comprehension, “Don’t say that. I like the way you are. You remember of me. You can stay as long as you want”
Davey was now happier than before, not only she accepted his decision on staying but now he would have someone who cares about him.
Davey started to cry and with a quick movement he hugged Fluttershy in a long and strong hug.
Fluttershy was surprised at first but now she was hugging back trying to comfort him. Davey was crying bitterly on Fluttershy’s shoulders.
Chapter 2. “Le shy and Davey dad”
Chapter 2. “I don’t want to leave”
Davey cried to sleep and Fluttershy was now putting a blanket on him.
Fluttershy stared at him. He was sleeping so confortable on the couch. She felt her heart beat. Looking at Davey she couldn’t resist but to give a kiss on his cheek. “Good night sleepy head”. She then turned around to clean the little table where they ate their meal.
Angel came out of nowhere running in Fluttershy’s direction. The little bunny was very exhausted.
Angel tried to say something with signs. Apparently it was about Davey.
Fluttershy couldn’t understand what was about. She never understood at first his tries and efforts to say something.
Fluttershy tried to guess.
"What is it Angel? Is it something bad?"
For the first time Fluttershy was going on the right direction at the first try because Angel nodded. Angel then pointed to Davey.
"Oh, it’s about, Davey? Why, do you have a problem with him?"
Angel nodded again. It was clear now. Angel didn’t like Davey at all.
Fluttershy giggled and with some consideration tried to set this up.
"Oh Angel. You don’t have to be jealous. Only because Davey is new doesn’t mean I will ignore you."
Angel face palmed. Apparently that was not the point. Angel always found it hard. Fluttershy could never tell.
Angel jumped on Davey’s belly. He patted Davey’s belly and he made an action to suggest strangle like saying ‘hurt’.
Fluttershy thought about it for a moment.
"Did Davey tried to hurt you?"
Angel nodded on excitement and proud. Finally, Fluttershy was showing some progress on her guesses.
"But that’s impossible. He seems like such a nice guy."
Angel got angry and he jumped to give a little hit to make Fluttershy react.
"Why Angel? You have to learn how to be nicer. I can’t leave you to be this rude with everyone."
Angel got really angry this time. so he ran out of there at full velocity.
"Angel! Wait! "
But it was too late.
Angel left.
Davey opened his eyes. And the first thing he saw was Fluttershy crying in front of him. Davey was very confused. What happened in his sleep? Did he do something inappropriate?
His thoughts were interrupted by Fluttershy who stared at him with her face full of tears. Quickly, she tried to search comfort and consideration with the only living thing nearby.
"It’s my entire fault. A friend just left me and it was my entire fault. I tried to serach for him but..."
Davey was very confused but he didn’t say anything and he hugged Fluttershy to make her feel safe.
"My entire fault, my entire fault, my entire fault…"
Davey didn’t try to say anything. He knew the best way to deal with this was just letting her express her feels. Davey hugged her until she felt to sleep on Davey’s arms.
Davey don’t dared a move. Even if he wasn’t on a very comfortable position. He was like this for several minutes but he felt really tired so he felt to sleep too.
Davey opened his eyes and encountered Fluttershy’s. This was awkward.
"I watched you in your sleep."
Davey felt his heart pound really fast.
"I can feel your heart go accelerating."
Davey was feeling really awkward. He didn't feel this in a very long time. Was it, love?
"You are cute, Davey."
He felt really wrong. This could not be. He was a human. She was a… horse.
Abruptly, Davey got up from his place trying not to hurt Fluttershy.
Fluttershy didn’t say anything but she just sat on his side.
Davey was feeling nervous.
"Don’t be nervous Davey. I’m not going to hurt you."
"It’s not that Fluttershy. It’s just…"
"Just what, Davey?"
"In my world this is wrong in so many ways…"
"Why?"
"I don’t know why."
"I will not force you if you don’t want to. We can always be friends."
"No! I don’t want to. I will always regret it when I watch you everytime."
"But then you have to make a choice. Otherwise. Maybe I will not be there for you."
"I need to think. Please. I really need to. I’ll go for a walk and then I’ll come back with an answer."
"Okay, Davey. I’ll wait."
Davey got up and he walked right the door.
When he got out It was night. The light of the moon was illuminating the exterior. The fireflies could be seen dancing near the river. It smelled good, fresh, like freedom.
He saw at the distance a village. Davey felt thirsty. He needed a beer to calm his mind.
When he got to the city. Some ponies were walking around without paying attention to him. Maybe they were used to strange visitors already.
He didn’t know where to go. He tried to ask but no one repaired on listening. They were too busy to talk.
He wandered around until he saw a giant wooden beer-sign. It only meant one thing. Beer. He went for it.
When he got in there a lot of ponies were talking to each other, drinking and playing cards.
He approximated to the bartender and asked for a beer. The bartender looked at him from the feet to the head. But, he didn’t say anything and gave him the beer.
"It’s on the house."
Davey felt very fortunate. He saw that the ponies were paying in gold bits. He only had the paper money the humans used in his world. It probably didn’t worth anything in here.
Davey thanked the bartender as he sat on the bar and drank his beer in silence. It felt sweet and at the same time it had the bitter it needed with a touch of burning down the throat.
It felt amazing. Just what he needed.
He was thinking on what to do when a green unicorn sat beside him.
"Hello there. My name is Lyra. What is a human doing in these parts of town?"
Davey felt really surprised. A pony knowing what a human is?
"Oh, hey. Hi. I don’t know. I just waked up here."
Lyra stared at him for a moment. Davey looked like a nice guy, treated like shit by life but that doesn’t stopped him from looking good.
Lyra adventured, “Do you wanna hang out? A nice club is around here. Let’s party until we lost ourselves!”
Davey drank from his beer as he was looking at Lyra in the eyes. She looked like a very wild pony. She had this sparking desire for doing crazy crap and Davey liked that kind of people.
He drank his beer quickly as possible and looking at the bartender he thanked for the beer.
“Okay Lyra! Let’s go!”
Lyra got very excited. This was the kind of thing she wanted to do for a long time and now this was her chance.
They got out of the bar as Lyra leaded the way to make it to the club. She tried to make some conversation until they got there.
“And… what is it like?”
Davey looked at her in confusion.
Lyra explained, “Living like a human! How is it like?”
Davey smiled, “Oh Lyra. I couldn’t possibly explain that. It’s like if I asked you how to be a pony is.”
Lyra made a point, “Well. To begin with. I would like a lot to have hands! Magic is nice but I would like to create something without the need of it.”
Davey nodded, “I understand. It’s a good point but you’re forgetting something. In my world there is a lot of population and everyone can make something you can do. God knows someone makes it even better than you.”
Lyra in a playful grin made her point, “Ha-ha! But you don’t know anything about us! You may think we have it easy because of the little population and the very nice ponies around. But. It’s not like that. Look at my flank”, she pointed then to her flank that showed a drawing of a harp, “This drawing it’s called ‘Cutie Mark’ and it shows what we are good for. So it means we like, love and experience to dead the desire of our talents.”
Davey looked amazed. Something that tells you what you are good for it’s something useful.
Lyra continued, “This means I’m a musician. But do you know how many ponies around have one like mine or that are musicians?”
Davey moved his head to say no.
Lyra had a spark on her eyes like saying ‘I gotcha!’ and she continued. “Thousands Davey. Thousands and that means that with our limited capabilities we’re probably not going to get far.”
Davey didn’t say anything. But he was thinking, “This pony had to be kidding. I’m my world it’s worse. Not only thousands could be musicians but millions!”
They saw each other.
Davey said what he had on mind.
Lyra couldn’t believe it. Does his world really had that much humans? How could it be possible? If she read stories of their great wars and history. The humans had to have a limited population like theirs or worse.
Davey saw Lyra, “But you still have a very nice economy”, he got out his money, “Look at this Lyra. Paper rules our lives. You guys at least have almost our equivalence on technology and you still use gold. I don’t want to leave, Lyra. In my world, I felt miserable. But here I feel happy and alive. This beautiful place can’t compare to my world.”
Lyra looked at Davey’s eyes. They looked very sad. Something in his world really crushed his life. Lyra didn’t try to make more questions about his world.
A big place with an enormous line to get inside the building was seen from the distance. Lyra pointed her hoof to it.
“Look Davey! It’s there!”
Davey was staring at the ground but he looked at Lyra’s hoof direction. In Davey’s face a big smile could be seen.
“What are we waiting for Lyra? Let’s go!”
Davey started to run in the club direction ad she joined him.
When they got there Lyra approximated to the big stallion guarding the entrance.
“Hey, Noodles. Would you let us in? I will give you magic.”
Noodles looked at Lyra as Davey stared at her in surprise. Could be ponies so easy to bribe?
Noodles nodded in agreement. Apparently, she looked like a generic pony but she has some influence in the underground world. She could live in his world so easily!
They got in and the first thing they saw was a big tunnel covered in fog that leaded to only god knows where. Lyra took the initiative and went in first. Davey followed her.
This was incredible. A big dump appeared in front of his eyes. Lights everywhere, music full sound, mares dancing like stripers in cages, some ponies were drinking, fucking, inhaling white powder.
Davey was in paradise. This was the kind of thing he always liked when he was young. It was like if his childhood just came in to stay.
Lyra screamed to Davey, “Davey! We have to begin the party!”
Davey didn’t hesitate. This was going to be a great night.
He drank too many shots competing with other ponies. He always won any round anyone would bring. His years of experience seconded him. Lyra was doing the same.
Inhaling the great white powder, smoking the stuff, dancing side by side.
This night. Everything blacked out for Davey.
Davey opened his eyes.
The morning had come and the sunlight was coming through the window.
His head was hurting a lot and his throat felt dry. But he was feeling confortable on the bed. With Lyra his side being hugged by him…
Davey was relaxed but he realized the situation after a moment, “Oh my bloody, god!”
Lyra and the other pony waked up at Davey’s screaming. They looked at Davey in surprise, “What is wrong, Davey?”
“Oh no, oh no, oh no, oh no, oh no…”
Lyra got very worried and shaking Davey with her hoofs, she managed to ask, “What is it, Davey? Tell me! For Celestia’s sake!!!”
Davey tried to say something in concern, “We… We… Slept together?!?”
Lyra felt relieved. It wasn’t something wrong after all, “Oh Davey. Of course we did. Here we make out with our friends.”
Davey felt his heart break, his moral and ethical. He could do something like fucking girls and use drugs but this crossed the limit. Zoophilia was not something on his book, “No, Lyra. You don’t understand. In my world... This just crossed the limit. We can’t go fucking horses around like perverted beasts!!!”
Lyra really did not get it. In this world she used to do this all the time. She even did it with a griffin and it was the best time and wild sex she ever had. But this night Davey used something she always wanted to try. Hands. Davey could use this and more to satisfy a girl at her limit.
She remembered the night as she felt excited again.
Davey was holding his head in exasperation. He was feeling disgusted. This went too far. But what was he expecting?
Lyra interrupted his thoughts.
“Please Davey. We are friends now and you’re in a new world. This is something you will have to get used to.”
Davey felt her warm and nice body on his side and he couldn’t stand it anymore. So he standed up quickly as he located his clothes to dress.
Lyra was on the bed but she stood up too. She didn’t want to lose a great friend. They just had more than sex. They had something that united their spirit in a full new level. Something that friends do in this world, “Davey. You aren’t being reasonable. This is crazy! Please, we have to talk!”
Davey was crying now, “We have nothing to discuss! I’m over!”
Davey was leaving full clothed and was disposing himself to leave. But Lyra jumped to his feet and started to plead, “Please Davey! I don’t wanna loose a new friend! That would make me sad…”
Lyra started to cry too.
Davey with his eyes still wet, don’t dared to make a move. Perhaps all. This wasn’t her fault and this was breaking his heart more than anything right now. He was responsible for making a lady cry.
Lyra was still sobbing. Davey got near her face and cleaned her tears with a smile on his face, “Don’t cry, Lyra. It’s not your fault. I’m not going to stop from being your friend. Please, would you forgive me?”
Lyra smiled back to Davey as he helped her to stand up. Now they were standing and laughing together.
They had breakfast. And they discussed some more the situation of Davey’s world; his life there, family, ex-girlfriend...
“I’m telling you Lyra. I really don’t know how I got here. Everything blacked out.”
“Mmhh…”, Lyra tough for a moment with her hoof on her chin, “Maybe you were abducted?”
Davey took it on consideration, “But why?”
Lyra stared at Davey, “I don’t know, Davey. I could only make speculations but nothing could be the answer.”
Davey took a slurp from his coffee and lost his sight on the distance.
“But whatever abducted you will surely come to our world.”
This made sense. He was a mister no-body. No one would miss him. They were even making a favor to society, “I will have to prepare for their come. Maybe they will try to force my way back to my world.”
Lyra stared at him with a serious expression, “I will be at your side. You are my friend now. Nothing will hurt you in my sight.”
Davey smiled at her, “Thanks, Lyra. I feel very grateful that I just met you.”
“You are welcome, Davey”
They continued their meal with smiles and exchanging playful glances.
Once they finished their breakfast. Lyra disposed the dirty plates with her magic.
Davey stared in awe at this action. He didn’t saw something like this before! Magic, in front of his eyes making an apparition in a greenish aura made by Lyra’s horn.
“Unbelievable! You are levitating those plates, Lyra! You have to teach how to do it!”
Lyra got surprised. This was something everyone could do. A normal trick anyone used for their everyday activities, “What? This? Anypony with a horn like mine can do it. But teaching you to do it? I don’t think I could do it, Davey.”
Davey with spark on his eyes don’t cared, “It doesn’t matter, Lyra. You are special! Doing that it’s not something you see every day on my world!”
“But I was doing it on breakfast. Didn’t you notice?”
Davey got surprised, “Really?”
Lyra sole hoofed, “You were so distracted, Davey. Did you really miss that?!?”
Davey made a puppy face and said, “I’m sowy”
Lyra couldn’t resist his cuteness as she hugged Davey, “I can’t be mad at you Davey”
He was hugging her too as he felt relieved. He didn’t want to fight his new friend.
Davey remembered something important. A decision he had to make.
Davey whispered, “Lyra… I gotta go. I have to do something.”
She was confused, “Hum? Where do you need to go?”
He left the hug to see her face to face, “I have a resolution. I like a lady in this world and she likes me. I have to tell her.”
Lyra was very surprised. She looked in his eyes as she saw determination. Then she smiled, “Go, Davey. Don’t let her go. This is really an important decision. Don’t screw it or I’ll be mad at you.”
Davey smiled too, “Yeah, Lyra. I’ll tell you in the night how it went. I’ll see you in the bar.”
Lyra answered, “But you’ll have to search for a job. Hey, I can’t give you all my bits.”
Davey laughed, “Haha… I will Lyra. I will.”
Then he hugged her once more. Lyra was crying of happiness. Finally her dream had come true.
Davey left her place. The sunshine was covering the entire town. The weather ponies were doing their job and everyone was selling their stuff. He felt happy. This place is fantastic.
He walked down the street to Fluttershy’s. He was in such a good humor that he was greeting everyone with a smile on his face. Some ponies greeted back but some other just saw him in annoyance. Effectively, this was like his world. But with the difference that he could start from zero and now he had someone to love.
He was now in front of it. Fluttershy’s house. He was so nervous. Even if he had the resolution. Something like this was always hard.
Davey knocked the door but no one answered the door.
He was feeling really scared, “Is she really at home?”, questioned himself on his mind.
He knocked once more. But no response. He tried to open it and it worked.
Her house was in the darkness. No one was at the view so He adventured himself into the dark as he tried to not make a noise. He saw stairs when he turned on the corner.
It had a mysterious feeling. This was a new zone for him.
Davey decided to go upstairs. He walked slowly to take his time and formulate what he could say to Fluttershy. When he got finally there he noticed a door. It could be Fluttershy’s room.
He went straight to the door and knocked. But again, there was no answer. Davey had the resolution now. He opened the door as he stared in surprise.
His heart teared and he felt like crying.
He saw Fluttershy confortable cuddling with a red stallion he never saw in his life.
Davey was crying now, “What… what is this?”
Fluttershy opened her eyes slowly and she saw Davey.
Her face turned pale and she standed up quickly, “Davey! Oh my god. What are you doing in here?!?”
Davey was still crying, “Who is that?”, he pointed his finger to the red stallion that was now rubbing his eyes to make himself wake up.
Fluttershy was nervous, “Davey, he is Big Macintosh. He declared himself yesterday and I couldn’t say no. He is such a nice stallion and I really desired him."
Her words crushed Davey’s heart. Then all those words were a lie?
Davey couldn’t take it anymore but he managed to stay, “Then, all you said yesterday was a lie?”
She remembered, “No, Davey. I really meant it but I told you that I couldn’t wait forever... You took all day and I thought for a moment that you were never going return.”
He didn’t want to hear anymore. So he left running down stairs.
This was it. No more. No one would hurt him anymore.
When he got out he ran into the river’s direction and he jumped. This time no one would stop him. He would die.
Davey felt the power of the river as he was fighting against it. Quickly he stopped the struggle and he lost the conscience.
The river sucked him into the waters…
A dark unicorn with glasses and a long beard leaves his feather aside and with a sight he looks up to the roof. He is surrounded by darkness only repealed by the light a nearby candle gives. “Finally… I ended this story. I can’t believe it took me so long…” Then with his magic lifted the paper that took with him trotting up.
He gets to a door that he carefully knocks. “Mare! Get up! I need some tea and a critic!” A mumble can be heard on the other side as some heavy trots make their way to the door. “For Luna’s sake! What got into you Dusty McBuck, can’t you see it’s still dark and Celestia hasn’t even got up yet!”
Dusty looks at his wife, a dark yellow pegasi with a fluffy, red and colorful mane, “Come on, Astucia D’mal! Make some tea; you know I can’t write without some more. Perhaps, I need you to be my pre-reader. It would mean so much to me”
Astucia looked at his husband, her greenish eyes could tell she was upset, “That’s why you waked me up! Why don’t you make it yourself, shirker!”
Dusty looked at the ground, his violet eyes were moving around trying to figure out a response, “Come on, mare… You know I’m useless to make home labors and I’m addicted to the tea you make! It’s so delicious!” then he looked at her eyes with a warm smile saying ‘sorry’.
Astucia couldn’t resist his smile, it always had something that drives her crazy to the ecstasy, happy, and Dusty knew this perfectly well, “Okay Dusty… I’ll get the stove warm up but you better make it up for me.”
Dusty smiled seductive and with a grin he whispered to her hear, “You know I always ‘make it up’ for you…” Astucia got nervous getting all red as she started to laugh trotting at full velocity to the kitchen. He was proud of his power to seduce his wife after all this time together, two years to be precise; he followed the exited mare with a light trot.
The teapot starts to boil as Astucia gets her wings wrapped up in a kitchen towel and with her other wing takes a cup which fills with the tea. Hands it to Dusty taking it with his magic and begin to take a slurp.
“Dear Mother of Luna, this tea is fantastic, mare! You really have a gift with the making of tea! You should just open your own business.”
His mare shrugs at Dusty’s comment, “Don’t be silly. It’s just water with herbs.”
Dusty dismiss her statement with his hoof, “Don’t say that! This tea is the ultimate elixir of life!”
Astucia just sighed. Once Dusty is complementing you cannot dismiss his words, “So”, Astucia broke the slurping, “What’s with this story you were telling me about?”
Dusty’s eyes got wide, “Yeah, sorry, just forgot about the matter”, Dusty takes his writings with magic and hands it to his wife, “I need a pre-reader and critics so… go nuts!”
She takes the pages with her wings and starts to read in full concentration.
Astucia leaves the pages in the table with a sigh.
Dusty slurps his tea and takes lead, “So, mare. How was it?”
Her wife takes a lighter and gets it initiated disposing the flames take the writes.
He quickly gets his magic working forming a shield on his writes, “What the hell, mare?!”, once he get the writings on his side leaves a breath of relief.
Astucia grins ear to ear, “What? We know is for the best”, starting to laugh as hard as she could.
Dusty gets really scared. She can be very creepy sometimes. And trying to not point to his real feeling he reclaims, “How’s that, mare?! You know I putted my greatest effort on that for just bursting my creation on flames!”
Astucia just kept on laughing, “Oh, don’t be such a baby. It was a joke! It’s my payback for getting me so early for that piece of crap.”
Dusty got a heart wound, “How dare you!?”
Her wife grinned maliciously, “We both know you are not the writer kind. Just let go and keep on bucking the rocks; that’s all you’re good for.”
He sighed, “Ha… It’s true, mare. I can’t just write for manure.”
