Armor, Drills, and a Golden Heart

Shining Armor walked into his dorm. Luckily there was somepony he knew already. He knew them ever since he was four or five. He walked over to his bunk, and laid down, he heard the door open, and saw him walk in. He was a pegasus, even though he had bat wings he was a dark purple, and had a grayscale mane.. He looked at him.

“Hey” He yawned.

“hi” Shining Armor responded quietly.

“So, this is it, the moment of truth, we’re actually cadets” his friend stated. Shining Yawned they had to go to sleep.

“Silver Moon, You’re getting deep, go to bed” He started, pulling the sheets on his bed over him, and falling asleep soon after. Silver sighed, and id the same, wondering the whole time what it would be like starting tomorrow.

CRASH

“GET ON YOUR KNEES, KEEP YOUR HEAD DOWN”

“DON'T TRY ANY FUNNY BUSINESS”

“STAY STILL, AND YOU’LL GO BACK TO YOUR BASE TONIGHT”

Pop….POP...POP

“WE NEED BACKUP BY OAKRIDGE AND…”

“AHH I’VE BEEN HIT, GAHH”

Sparkling Blade shot up in bed, drenched in a cold sweat. She was breathing quickly, gasping with each breath, She rolled out of the bed, hitting the Hardwood floor, still gasping for breath. Bronze Star awoke suddenly, getting down next to her

“Sparkling, please, just listen to me” he stated quietly. Blade being more than just an ordinary dog, ran down the hall barking, drawing the attention of multiple instructors, her father, and more than a few dozen cadets.

“Sparkling, please, calm down!” Glistering Helmet stated walking into the room. Bronze Star had a hoof running through her mane.

“I- I’m choking, I’M CHOKING” Sparkling blade nearly screamed in a hoarse voice.

“Sparkling, you’re not choking, you're having a Panic Attack, just calm down please!” Bronze Star begged. Standing in the doorway was Shining Armor. He saw his uncle reach up to the nightstand, and pull out an inhaler, or at least something that looked like it. He put it in her mouth, and pressed the top down, She breathed in, and soon started to calm down. Glistering Helmet looked to the door, seeing all the cadets he stood up.

“All of You, Back to your dorms, NOW” He stated in a commanding tone, they all ran off. He sighed, and looked back.

“Take care of her, till she goes back to sleep” He told Bronze Star, before leaving himself, patting Blades head on the way out, the Dog panting like crazy. Sparkling looked up at Him.

“You Okay?” He asked.
