Armor, Drills, and a Golden Heart

All the rest of the day was was speeches on their behavior policies and what the instructors were expecting. Sparkling Blade was assigned her company, and Bronze Star was to be with her as well. It was late, and Sparklings Father had dismissed all the companies to their dorms. Sparkling Blade looked up at the second floor, where a few guards were patrolling. She saw a familiar guard. Aquilinis was up there. The founder of the school was well deceased, but She knew him personally, through conversations with him, it was part of her talent, soul talking as the guards called it. SHe looked at it in a more casual way, just saying it was “Friendly conversation with well deceased guards”

“You see him, don’t you?” Her father Glistering Helmet who also was the head of the school stated quietly.

“Yeah, he’s up there patrolling with the others” Sparkling responded with a giggle. He nodded, and gave her a nuzzle.

“Go ahead and see Bronze Star, he does calm you down quite a bit, i was suprised you didn’t have a panic attack sometime during the meeting.” he stated quietly

“Nothing scared the living shit out of me, thats when i usually freak” She responded quietly. She sighed, and looked at her father.

“is mother and cosmos Meeting us at the school” She grumbled.

“Just the first day” He told her. “Look, twelve weeks, thats more than enough time, enjoy it, okay” He told her. She nodded, but soon heard her father clear his throat. She turned and saluted him.

“Yes, Sir” She responded. He saluted back, and soon both of them dropped the stance.

“Now, Go to Bronze Star, get going, thats and order missy” He told her, gathering scrolls and papers from the podium.

“Yes, Sir” She responded before leaving her father to gather his things.

Sparkling Blade walked into Bronze Stars Dorm. He walked over to her from behind. He wrapped his arms around her.

“You tired?” He asked quietly.

“Yeah” She responded.

“Want to snuggle for a little?” He asked.

“Yeah, i do” She whispered back. He kissed her lightly and again started at her uniform, taking it off completely. She stretched for a second.

“Mmm, If feels good to be out of that thing” She told him, he nuzzled her lightly, and lead her to the bed. They laid down She felt him hold her close, nuzzling her every once in awhile.

“Hey, Sparkling, can i ask you something?” Bronze Star started. She nodded

“Why are we allowed to, you know, just, do this” He asked.

“Because as long as you doing this prevents me from having panic attacks, my dad’s going to allow it to slide” She told him quietly “It’s not usually like this” She added. He kissed her lightly.

“You want me to rub your back?” He asked quietly, pulling her closer to him. “You need your rest, you want me to do it while you try and go to sleep?” He added quietly. She nodded again, hugging him. He held her for a few seconds.

“babe” She asked quietly.

“hmm” He started, letting her lay on her belly. he placed his hoof lightly on her back.

“How, how much do you love me?” she asked quietly. He started to rub her back.

“Well, I love you more than all the stars in the sky, I love you so much, that i'd be willing to walk a thousand miles to make you happy, and to wait a millenium just to see you for five minutes. I love you. I’d be willing to give up everything just to be with you, to see your smile, to hear you laugh, just to see you happy” He told her quietly. He saw her give him a small smile. Her eyes were closing, and she was almost put to sleep.

“Go ahead Sparkling, you have to lead a company tomorrow, you need all the rest you can get” He told her quietly, nibbling her ear lightly. She giggled quietly, and soon snuggled up to him, falling into a deep sleep.

“There we go” He whispered quietly, kissing her cheek before laying down himself, and falling asleep as well.
