The Other Side
His Life
Previous ChapterHe came with me, Tarex, he must have still been loyal, he has been traveling with me since the Crystal Kingdom incedent. He has been with me every step of the way, and our life has not been promising. I told him he could go back to the new shadow kingdom, but he insisted to stay with me. I felt that he wanted something. I couldn't say what, but it was there. The things he did though, for me. I felt as though, we were friends, but how foolish I was to believe that. He cared not for me, but what I could do. He wanted power, just like the rest of them.
"Tarex, where are we?" I ask.
"Well, sir as you can see-" he motions towards the snow "we are right on the border of the Crystal Kingdom."
"Good, and as long as we are ponies we won't be detected right?" I ask.
"Yes, but sir, we would stick out like a sore hoof." He answered.
"Well, that will have to do for now." I said.
"Because, when I get there." I mumbled to myself." I'll save you and bring you with me."
After we entered the fields of the kingdom I expected to be blasted back out into the cold, most of the ponies didn't even notice me. They were busy with some kind of celebration, I guess Princess Cadenza's Birthday or something. Another thing I never understood about these ponies, was the celebration of when they entered this cruel and evil world.
"Tarex, what's going on?" I asked him.
"If I remember correctly, a paper posted about it in Bitstol that the Equestrian games were being held here. Sir, what do you think about it?" He asked.
"About what?" I ask him.
"The way they changed your kingdom." He said.
"It was never mine, I just borrowed it. And what's so bad about it, its bustling with life?" I questioned him.
"Oh, nothing." He looks off, lost in thought.

As we arrive, I notice her outside attending the flowers in the window sill. Her crystal coat brings tears to my eyes. She was the perfect picture. She had a light-dark multi-colored mane. Her coat a lighter gray. Her cutie mark a pair of dark clouds with a silver line, she had the special talent of seeing the best in ponies. As we approached her she turned and smiled.
"Can I help you?" She asked.
"Ummmm, yes, but not here can we go inside." Tarex says.
"Oh, sure." She waves her hoof and I move to catch it.
"My lady" I say with her hoof in mine. I bow to her.
She blushes, "Oh dear, lets go inside." She says as she pulls away.

She hits me with a pillow. "Why did you do that!? "She asks.
"Well, I love you. And I hope you still love me." I say.
"There is only one that I love and for all I know he dead. He was a dreamweaver. The king of dreamweavers. The only being who saw me for who I was, but I'm sorry my heart still loves him." She says.
"Just so happens"- I'm cut off
"We're very parched, do you mind we having a glass of water?" Tarex says.
"Of course" she says looking slightly confused.
As she trots off, "Don't you think she would be shocked to see you again? I mean you did enslave her people." He says.
"You may have a point, but what will I do?" I ask.
"Ask her on a date, she seems lonely enough." He says.
As she walks back in with a tray on her back. She levitates a glass to me.
"Thanks" I take a drink," so I was thinking. Would you go on a date with me? I know you have other feelings, but maybe give me a chance?" I ask.
"Ok, how does 7:00 on Friday sound?" She asks.
"Its a date!" I say.
"One more thing what's your name?" She asks.
"Styler" I say.
She smiles" Okay, cool." She says.
