Two years after the defeat of Nightmare Moon, Princess Luna is lonesome, and is still struggling to learn how to interact with ponies properly. Seeking refuge from her isolated nights, she becomes a fan of DJ Pon-3.
Vinyl Scratch, however, is still recovering from her recent breakup with her ex-marefriend, the cellist Octavia, and though she's living in the flourishing Ponyville, and trying to manage a budding relationship with Princess Luna, she may be forced to move back to Manehatten after being approached by a big record company, only to be contacted by Octavia once again…
