Change of Heart

We all get inside and I'm hit by a nice sent of different cooked apples, there is apple pie, apple fritters and caramel apples.

My stomach growles louder then ever now and I blush alittle as Apple Bloom looks at me. “ Are you hiding a timber wolf in your belly?” she say jokingly.
I chuckle at her joke. “ No but I do have an Ursa minor hidden “ a grin spread on my face as I say it.
Apple Blooms eyes narrowes as she tries to find a comeback, but we get in to the dining room before she can figure one out.

“Big Mac can ya help me in tha kitchen?” Applejack ask while she walks to the kitchen.
“Eeyup” Big Mac say and walk in after her.
'Finaly food' I think to myself as I take a seat and wait for AJ and Big Mac comes back from the kitchen.

Apple Bloom looks at me. I blink a few times but she's still looking at me.
“Something wrong Apple Bloom?” I ask her. She shake her head and snap back to reality. “No, No I was just thinking.” She replies and smile
“Thinking about what?” I ask genuinly curious.
“Just about how you might have goten the tree scars on your muzzle and why you don't have any money. You where robbed where you not?” she pulls her ears back as she ask me that.

“Apple Bloom, ya don't ask things like that and ya know it.” Applejack says sterned from the kitchen door she's walking through carring a big tray with food on her back.
“I didn't mean to be rude” Apple Bloom says and she seem to shrink.
I sigh heavely. “ I just didn't think about money when I left. As for my scar...” I sigh again. “ I ran in to some dragons, and well I... I was lucky I guess.” I say heavely not really wanting to talk about it. 'How do I tangle myself out of this? I can't tell them I'm a changeling and blasted the dragons to hell, So what the hay do I tell them if they ask more about it' I think to myself feeling panic slowly creeping up on me.

“I thought dragons di-” Apple Bloom begins before AJ interupt her.
“ Enoughe about that Apple Bloom, don't ya see it's trubeling for him?” AJ says.
She put down the big plate on to the table and take a seat next to me.
I look down in to the table trying to find anything to say, but I fail hard.
The silence in the room is thick enoughe that you could cut it with a knife.

“Well dig in” Applejack says as she take a piece of apple pie.
“Thanks.” I manage to wisper as I reach for an apple fritter.
As I bite in to it my mouth must have goten an orgasmn. This is seriously the best thing I've ever eaten. The apples look at me as I start to throw food in to my mouth.
When I notice their eyes on me I stop. I quickly chew the food and swallow it. “Sorry, it's just I've never eaten anything this good.” I say smiling akwardly my muzzle full of crumbles

“Aw chucks no need to flather like that, but ya could slow down on the eating tha food ain't going anywhere ya know?” Applejack says while she has a big grin of pride on her face.
“Yeah sorry.” I say again. Starting to eat what's left of the piece of pie I had been eating on.

“So you need a job woopersnapper?” Granny Smith says. I had almost forgoten she was here, out of all the apples she had made the smallest presence. “ Yeah, I don't really have any plans to stay in ponyville for long, but I can always stay abit longer and work for a while so I have atleast some money during my journey.” I say.

“Well we do need extra hooves at the farm, and we could pay ya some money for it as well, if ya want it that is.” Applejack say. “Eeyup” Big Mac adds in. 'Dose he always talk like that? Just a single word really?'. I think to myself.
“What kind of work would you need me to do?” I ask.
“Ah nothing hard. Just putting out buckets and then buck some apples down in to them.” AJ says.
'Seems easy enoughe' I think. “Well alright, when do we start?” I ask.
“Well ya would have started tomorrow but seeing as it's our family reunion tomorrow we all have tha day off. Oh yeah, ya where going ta play on your ocarina for us all tomorrow?” AJ ask.

I take a deep breath and nod “ Yes I can play for you. “ I say with a small smile on my face. The apples all seem to shine up as I say that.
“What now?” I ask noticing it.
“Well usualy our kin play music for us all but they couldn't come this time. So we didn't know how to get somepony to play music and then ya'll came along.” Applejack says.

I nod. “Alright I understand, but you do know I can't play for the entire day and I will run out of songs at one point or the other.” I say.
The apples nod. We finnish the meal, Applejack and Apple Bloom take the dishes in to the kitchen.

I look at Big Mac. “So ehm what happens now?” I ask.
“Apple selling in town, cleaning of buckets and plowing the fields.” Big Mac says.
'Well look at that he can say more things then “eeyup”, I guess he's just not the talking type' I think to myself. “Anything I can do?” I ask.
“Eenope, not this time” he answer.

I roll my eyes and step outside. I take a seat looking in over Ponyville, thinking about what I can do for the rest of the day. I close my eyes for a little bit and the constant wispering in my head growes louder. I try to make out anything from all the wispers. There is to much being said at once for me to pick up anything more then just random words that hold no meaning to me.

“Ya wanna come down to town with us sugarcube?” AJ ask. I open my eyes and see her and Apple Bloom looking at me.
“Sure, I mean better to know what I'll be doing for work then walking in blind.” I say and stand up and the three of us walk in to town.

We walk in silence, not really having much to say at the moment. We get to the apple stand after about a 20 min walk and I help the girls to open up the stand. We finnish opening up and I take a few steps back to see how it all looks when it's complete.
Before I get a better look I'm laying on my side a few feet away from where I had just been standing. As I look up I see pink cotton candy.

“Oh my gosh you're new arn't you? Cuz I know every pony and I mean EVERY pony in Ponyville and since I don't know you that must mean you are new and if you are new you must not have any friends yet and if you don't have any friends you must be soooo lonely and the-” The pink pony dosn't stop talking before AJ shove an apple in to her mouth. 'Wow did she even breath during all that? And wait did she tackle me?! What the hell is wrong with this pony?' I think to myself.

Applejack pulls the pink pony of me. And I get up streaching to see if I injured anything. Nothing hurts so I guess I didn't get injured.
“Pinkie we all told ya not to jump every new pony ya see” AJ says to the pink pony.
'Pinkie really? What kind of names dose these ponies come up with? That's just lazy' I think to myself.

“But Applejack I don't jump every pony I see, I've seen three new ponies that I dind't jump, but it was harder to get them to stop and talk with me when I didn't jump them so I figured I should jump like every second new pony I see or every third one I see so I can talk to them easier and that way make more friends a lot faster.”

Okey stop feeding this pony sugar she's gonna make my head expload trying to keep up with all she says she barely stops to breath.

Pinkie gasps loudly. “ Oh yeah I must throw you a welcome to ponyville party.” she half yell and dissapear in less then a second. I stand dumbfolded, Applejack and Apple Bloom are laughing at my reaction.

“You wanted me to come to town to see sugar in the form of a pony?” I ask looking at the girls laughing at me. “ Okay, okey nah that's not why ah asked ya to come, Ah just thought ya'll would get bored at the farm all day. And we really have told Pinkie Pie not to jump on strangers like that, she didn't hurt you did she?” AJ says looking at me with a it of consern.

I shake my head “No she din't hurt me wich I find intressting and disturbing at the same time. I mean how can I be tackled like that and not get a single scratch?” I ask.
AJ just shake her head. “To be honest sugarcube we don't know how Pinkie dose it either, she is just beeing Pinkie Pie.” she says with a small smile on her face.

I look up at the sun and see that it's only about 3 pm. The apple stand have been open for about 10 minuits and I've already been attacked by the pink pony and Apple Bloom managed to sell apples to three ponies and Applejack has had 5 customers already.

“How in the hay do you get so many costumers this quick?” I ask AJ. She looks at me and shrugs. “Well it must be cuz our apples really are the best in equestria” she jokingly brag.
