Chapter 1

Family Reunion

I stretched as I slowly got up from my bed. I sleepily walked to my bedroom window, I opened the curtain and Ponyville spread out before me. I smiled, today was my first day here in Ponyville so you could say I was somewhat excited. I then remembered that my brother had invited me to brunch this morning and I quickly got dressed.

I suppose I should introduce myself. My name is SilverLuck Nightshade I am a 19 year old unicorn, I had a Silver Colored coat and a night black mane, with a pair of gold eyes, my cutie mark was a 4 leaf clover Lined down the center with silver. I had recently moved to Ponyville from Canterbury. I had decided to move here after hearing that my brother Stormwing who was 9 years older than me had settled down here with his new wife Fluttershy.

I walked out of my house wearing a pair of nice jeans, a shirt and vest, and I never went anywhere without my lucky trilby (a smaller version of the fedora). Locking the door I made my way to Fluttershy's cottage.

When I arrived, I knocked on the door. At first nothing, then slowly the door opened, standing in the doorway were 2 foals both Pegasus. "UNCLE SILVER!" the squealed with delight, both jumping into my arms, I laughed "hey guys". I entered the small cottage letting both of the foals run off into the house, Stormwing then came around the corner, "BROTHER" he exclaimed with much joy. He walked up to me and gave me a brotherly hug. "hey storm its good to see you to" I said feeling crushed. We the walked into the kitchen where Fluttershy was just finishing the food we would be eating for brunch. She turned and smiled at me "oh hello there Silver" she said to m. It had been over a year since I saw them last, which had been at their wedding. I bowed "m'lady" I said jokingly she chuckled "okay go sit down with the foals brunch is ready".

After Brunch which was delicious by the way, we sat down in their living room and talked while the two foals sat in the center playing with their toys. "So Silver, how are you liking Ponyville?" Storm asked. I shrugged "I can't really say I got here last night and then immediately came here this morning" I replied. Fluttershy then spoke up "oh you should visit the Carousel Boutique you can get wonderful apparel there, just tell the owner your Stormwing's brother and she will hook you up with some impressive designs", I smiled "sounds like a great idea I will head over there after I leave". "oh and don't forget to hit the Ponyville library, I know how much you enjoy your books" Storm said. I chuckled at that it was true I indeed was somewhat of a book worm. "Sounds like a plan, well its good to see you again storm" I said getting up from my seat. "Same to you Silver" he replied. They waved as I left the cottage behind, the sounds from the young foals rang out "bye uncle silver" I smiled such a wonderful family.
