Chapter 2

Making Friend's

After my visit to my brothers house I headed for the Carousel Boutique. It was a somewhat tall building at least compared to the other buildings in Ponyville, it was white with dashes of gold purple and other bright colors. The little bell above the door rang with a "ding" as I entered the shop, and a voice rang out "i'll be right there". Moments later a White mare with curly purple hair and a trio of diamonds for a cutie mark entered the room. "Hello" she said with a cheerful smile on her face, "uhh hi I was told to come here for clothes" I said, "and you were told correctly" she replied, then asked "might I get a name dear sir?". "oh right my name is SilverLuck Nightshade, Brother to StormWing Nightshade". Her eyes light up with delight "ohh so you're Storm's brother I've heard so much about you, oh yes do come in I'll set you right up with some nice clothing".

After about an hour (Rarity was quite the talker) I had finally picked out a perfect selection of clothing for myself, and was now on my way to the library. The library itself was built inside a huge tree. I Walked in and was startled to see books everywhere, piles upon piles of books were all over the ground, on bookshelves, on tables etc. "Hello?" I said slightly intimidated by the masses of books. Then from behind a large stack of books walked out a violet mare with a dark purple and a streak of pink mane, but this was no normal pony she was an Alicorn, then the pieces clicked it was Princess Twilight Sparkle. I bowed, a voice then spoke out "you must be new here" she said with a chuckle "its okay stand up". I stood,  she now had her back to me looking through one of her books. " So you run the library here?" she turned smiling and nodded "yes I have friends here in Ponyville and so instead of staying up at the castle i decided to stay here, so whats your name?" she asked. "SilverLuck Nigh-" She finished my sentence, "Nightshade so you're StormWings brother". I laughed "my brother knows everyone around here doesn't he?" She laughed with me "yes I suppose he does, doesn't he".

I sighed "anyways so I was here to inquire about your books". "ahh yes I have wide selection of many books, is there any books you're looking for in particular?" she said. "actually yes there is, you don't happen to have any books on dark magic do you?" She gave me a surprised expression "you're studying dark magic?" she asked. "more like teaching it to my self but yeah I guess that's one way you could put it" I replied. Her eyes lit up "that's incredible there have only been a few ponies that have ever been able to learn unicorn magic and dark magic, what has you so interested?", " well I just felt like I wanted to learn something a little different, so i took an interest in dark magic" I replied. "okay tell you what I will send every book I have on dark magic to your house". " that's sounds great" I replied and with that I parted from the library and headed home.
