A Crystal Empire Accident

Mal looks horrified as the pool of blood gets to his hooves, staining them. "Oh. My. God..." Mal stands silently staring at the growing puddle of blood. Anton manages to mumble out of his mouth "I hate you, go to hell Mal..." before he passes out from blood loss.

"is he...is he...Dead?" Silver is to tears when Mal snaps out of being confused and checks Anton's pulse. "Hes still alive...but we better hurry...he could die from blood loss any minute..."

      Mal, Celestia, And Silver sprint to the hospital as fast as possible.

After Anton is stitched up and put in a hospital room, Mal meets with the doctors. "So doc... how long does he have..." The doctor replies seriously "He should be fine... when that gun went off it barely missed one of His major Arteries. it only cause a little bleeding, he should be out in 2 months. As well, we still need to take the bullet out...which might extend his stay..." "Celestia...but it looked like so much blood..it was pooling at my hooves..." Mal says shyly. Mal goes to enter Anton's hospital room. But stops as he hears the heart rate monitor slow down... he leaves, fighting back the tears, but turns around as he hears Silver's soft delicate voice say "Don't worry...he isn't going to die...the doctors just had to slow his heart down a little..." Mal enters the room. seeing Anton's lifeless body on the bed brings him to tears. "I can't look at him...he just brings back painful memory of last night..."the two ponies stand in silence until silver speaks "Mal...could I lay on your chest? I haven't gotten much sleep..." Silver asked Mal softly

"Yeah...thats fine..." Mal responds with a soft tone in his voice... The two ponies position themselves so that Mal can hear the heartbeat monitor loud and clear, and Silver listens to the strong pounding of Mal's strong heart.

And they both drift off listening to their friend's message of being alive.
