A Crystal Empire Accident

Mal woke up to Silver's voice saying "He's strong doc. He'll pull through."

The doctor was listening to Anton's heartbeat when Mal got up to his hooves. "ugh...What time is it?" asked Mal rubbing an eye. "11:36, we didn't want to wake you up..." the doctor replied. "How is he doctor?" Silver asked.

"Well...his heart took a bigger turn than we expected with his...anger...if he has a nightmare his heart rate goes through the roof and thats why we had to slow it down the other day. I fear its because his faithful friend turned on him..." All Mal could think of at this point was "I did this... I hurt and almost killed my best friend... ".

After a few seconds of silence Mal put his hoof on the bedside of Anton and started to cry softly... he felt Anton's hoof grasp his and in seconds. The Alicorn was gasping for air. Awaking from a nightmare. "NO!" Anton screamed loudly. His heart started to pound faster and faster until he calmed himself down and threw his head against the pillow.

He turned his head and seeing Mal made his heart start to skip repeatedly. "...did you come here to finish me off yah prick?!" Anton exclaimed. "No not really...i came here to apologize for-" Mal started but was cut off by Anton's wince of pain. Anton squeezed his eyes as tight as he could.

Anton gripped Mal's hoof as his head fell unconscious on the bed again. The Heart rate monitor started to beep very slowly....Mal thought for certain Anton was going to die until Silver said something to make Mal's heart as well skip...
