Forgotten Princess

Later that day at Sugarcube Corner Twilight, Spike, Celestia, and Luna was greeted by a bouncing pink  pony by the name of Pinkie Pie, "Hi Twilight. Hi Spike. Hi princesses."

"Hi Pinkie, there is somepony that I want you to meet."

"Somepony new where are they, I have to give them their welcome to Ponyville party invitation. Wait I need streamers and balloons." Pinkie finished starting to get really excited about having a party.

I slowly walked into the building followed closely by Ravenger who is more nerves than I am at the moment. I am debating on whether I should let her throw the party or not. I continued slowly toward the group of friends.

"Pinkie this is Blacklightning." Twilight stated completely forgetting about Ravenger.

"Wait she is an alicorn just like you and the princesses Twilight."

"Yes, she is , and she is also one of the the royal sisters."

"Wait, wasn't there somepony following you Princess?" Pinkie asked as she started to look behind me.

"Please, just call me Lightning, I am not one for formalities, and for who was fallowing me, he is my partner in both combat and life, his name is Ravenger."

"So where did he go?"

"I don't know, Ravenger where did you go?"

"Right here Light, and please have her calm down you know I hate unnecessarily loud ponies." he said startling Pinkie.

"My name is Pinkie Pie, sorry if I scared you."

"I'm Ravenger" he sheepishly responded.

"For how strong he is I would have never suspected that random loud noises made by ponies would scare him." Luna stated.

"Luna remember were he was raised and that it was just him and me. So he is not comfortable around other ponies yet, we just have to give him time to adapt."

"Wait you raised him and he is your special somepony that is a little weird." Pinkie stated.

"Let me correct my self, I raised him to survive in the Everfree Forest but that was while he was a unicorn and not an alicorn."

"Twilight I'll go and get your friends, can you please calm him down wile I'm away." I turned to Ravenger, "I will not be long, okay." I gave him a kiss and left.

"Trust me you will like my friends, they are all good ponies. Rarity is very generous, but if you value your personal space don't mention anything about needing clothes. Fluttershy is a really shy pony but she loves animals. Rainbow Dash has such an ego she could mold it into another pony by itself but when her friends are in need she is there for them. Finally there is Applejack, she is the most reliable and honest pony around."

"Thank you for describing your friends Twilight, I like to know about somepony before I meet them but sometimes it can't be helped."

"Ravenger why weren't you acting scared around us when we met?"

"I am used to being around alicorns because one raised me so that did not affect me like it probably does most ponies, and the fact the you and Light's sisters are princesses helped a lot."

"That's a little odd most ponies act strange because we are princesses, but you act like we are nothing special."

"That is because in my mind you three are the same as any other pony."

The conversation went on like that for about an hour when the door opened and four mares and Lightning walked in. Lightning and a the snow white mare in the group walked over to me, "Ravenger did you and Twilight have a good conversation while I was gone?"

"Yes we did, she was really interested in the fact that I was completely calm talking to your sisters, her, and you, but as soon as I was introduced to Pinkie I resorted to my shadow magic to hide from her."

"Would you be interested in some clothes?" the mare spoke up.

"I take it your Rarity."

"How did you know that was my name?"

"Twilight gave me a rundown of you and the rest of your friends so that we don't have a repeat of what happened with Pinkie."

"Rarity please don't go on a question spree like you did with me. It takes a lot for him to want to shadow dive but since all it took was Pinkie yelling about a party for him to do it, I don't think a lot of questions would be a good idea."

"Okay darling, but later I want to make you an outfit."

"When I need a suit I will be sure to give you a chance to make it for me." Ravenger stated hoping to try and keep her quite for just a little wile.

"You won't regret it darling."

"Rarity I think its time he met the rest of your friends."

"Agreed, I think it is time for him to meet them."

We walked over to the group of mares and one dragon, and was immediately noticed by the stronger looking earth pony, "Hi sugar cube, I'm Applejack."

"I'm Rainbow Dash fastest flyer in Equestria."

"My name is Fluttershy." the yellow pegasus said with such a soft and quiet voice it was almost impossible to hear.

"My name is Ravenger."

"Twilight said that you two have a story to tell us." Rainbow stated.

"We do and we will begin once everypony is settled."

Once the group was settled they began to recite the story as it was done earlier that day at the library.

"I may not approve of violence, but you did the right thing saving the one you love."

"Thanks Applejack, even though we just met that means a lot."

"Celestia, you know what to do."

"On it Lightning." her horn started to glow and a shield was raised around the room.

"Rarity, Fluttershy, Applejack, and Rainbow Dash please place your hooves on the keyblade," when I finished that sentence I brought forth my  keyblade. The four mares moved to do what they were asked to do, "In your hoof, take this key. So long as you have the makings, then through this simple act of taking its wielder you shall one day be. And you will find me, friend-no ocean will contain you then. No more borders around, or below, or above,so long as you champion the ones you love."

"I don't feel any different sugar cube."

"Neither do I." Rainbow stated.

"Same here." both Rarity and Fluttershy said.

I spoke up before Pinkie could have one of her "Pinkie Pie" moments, "Girls it takes something like one of your loved ones getting into deep trouble, but that is a worst case scenario."

"Well that makes absolutely no sense."

"Well I learned that you don't argue with a weapon that is sustained with magic because it could very well take control of itself and smite you if it wished." I stated earning the stares of a handful of terrified mares, and Spike is just trying to stop laughing like a maniac.

"That is just dark, where do you learn such things?" Rarity asked.

"On a battlefield a long time ago were many of my soldiers fell because their weapon turned on them." I said calmly.

"I thought heavily enchanted weapons were banned long ago before Luna was even born." Twilight stated.

"Celestia did you ever tell your student of the age gap in between you an Luna?"

"No Light I didn't want anypony to know because I would have been force to tell ponies of you."

"Why would you have had to tell ponies of me just because of you telling them of the twenty year age gape in between you and Luna."

"Because you can only change so many records before ponies start asking questions."

Twilight stepped in, "If there is a twenty year gap from you to Luna were do you fit into the group Lightning?"

"I was born three years after Celestia and it was on my sixteenth birthday that I personally banned and destroyed all heavily enchanted weapons because of the looses our military took in one of the wars with the dragons that aloud us to construct a fortress on Mount. Canterhorn. That fortress has become the city of Canterlot and our nations capital."

"I had forgotten that you went on that mission and it lasted three years you came back on Luna's third birthday and made it a mission to make her as happy as you could before you had to leave a year later to deal with the vampony situation and it was during that second trip that she disappeared." Celestia finished as she started to cry.

"Who do you mean by 'she' Princess?" Twilight asked.

"She means the one true ruler of Equestria our mother Queen Solaris." I answered saving my sister from having to speak any more.

In an unknown portion of the galaxy there is a snow white alicorn with a mane and tail of fire, "Lunar Eclipse, I know you are around here somewhere."

"Leave me Solaris I left so they may live in peace away from my corruption. They are better off without me."

"Nay, they need us both, our kingdom is being assaulted by the very darkness that took our youngest away from us and drove the two elder children apart. We must return balance to the forces light and darkness in our children's world."

"I can't. Do you remember what happened last time I attempted to return."

"The Discord event. I remember it well but our daughters took care of it. They are strong, but they need to know that we did not abandon them."

"I know its just I can't face any of them after what happened with Northern Star."

"You know that you two never got along."

"Everypony get behind me. Now! Ravenger get ready to fight." I ordered after I noticed o shift in the shadows.

"Why should we?" one of the mares in the room responded.

"If you want to keep your hearts, you'll do as I say!" I barked at them bringing my keyblades into existence.

"Light whats going on?" Ravenger asked doing the same.

"We have company." as I finished the shadows took an equine form.

"They look like changelings."

"Well they're not."

"What are they then?"

"Heartless. To be exact they are the shadow form which are the weakest of the heartless. They are typically very dumb, only being able to tell friend from foe."

"Why haven't they attacked yet?"

"I don't know, every other time I have fought them, they attacked without hesitation, but these seem different."

"How so?" Luna asked.

"They are acting like they want to learn something."

"I thought you sai-" Twilight was interrupted by a group of the heartless that managed to remain unnoticed behind us that jumped on top of her.

"Twilight!" we all called in unison.

All of a sudden a bright flash of light flashed from the heartless that attacked Twilight causing them to fly into the wall and vanish, "Why are all of you staring at me?"

"You did it Twilight now lets hope you can use that thing there are a lot of heartless here and more are appearing." in her magic Twilight was holding a six pointed purple star with gold trimming in the shape of a key.

"Is that..."

"Yes, it is. Now can we deal with the threat of the heart hungry creatures." after I replied the group of heartless in front of me charged. I took a defensive stance and was quickly joined by Ravenger and Twilight. I quickly took notice of the attack pattern of the group and made a plan, "On my mark we lung forward breaking their control of the battle,and make a brake for the door. It is to cramped in here to fight. I want you guys to follow us and then get to a safe distance," I waited for the next break in the pattern, "Mark," we charged forwards breaking the one large group into two smaller ones, as we left the building. The two groups staying apart as they followed, "I got the group on the left, you take the right."

"On it." they replied in unison. We broke away from each other and dove straight into the two groups of heartless.

The group stood in awe of the three alicorns in combat with the dark menace. Ravenger was in control of the fight for a long period of time mostly because of the barbaric force he put behind each of his swings. Twilight obviously never used a weapon of any sorts but she is still taking out her fare share of heartless. Lightning was the exact opposite. She moved with complete grace and speed, constantly switching between her singular keyblade sending sparks flying across the field and bolts of lightning through groups of the creatures and her duel blades dispersing large groups with powerful but quick strikes.

The three collapsed in a triangle around their friends "They won't stop coming." I said weakly.

"We have to keep going, so we can protect every-" Twilight was cut off as her friends walked over to her.

"Sugar cube, you know darn well that it is not your job to protect us, but all of ours to protect everypony else." when Applejack finished a key in the shape of her cutie mark appeared on her side.

"That's right Twi, if we wouldn't have came together I'm pretty sure none of us would be here." as Rainbow finished, her and the rest of the girls had their keyblade appear next to them.

"Celestia, Luna, and Ravenger, you three with me. Twilight, Pinkie, Rarity, Rainbow, Applejack, and Fluttershy take the group opposite to ours."
