The Life Of Midnight Luna

It's almost been a year since the word of the war had gotten out. The army had been training non stop since the word had been let out by Luna. Midnight guarded her kids at all cost. She used a protection spell around her room. She hadn't even been able to celebrate her little babies birthdays. Eyezic was pacing back and forth. "I want to fight Eyezic, I have to. It's my kingdom too." Midnight said.

"Your mother AND father said you can't fight. You have to watch our kids." Eyezic said and stretched his wings out. If looks could kill Eyezic would be dead and on fire.

"That isn't fair, you can fight and I can't?" Midnight said with a growl.

"Mommy." Lilly said and pulled on Midnight's mane.

"Yes hunny?" Midnight said and picked her up and held her gently in her hoofs.

"No fight." Leon said as he paced back and forth with his father. Leon and Lilly have been practicing their words ever since their first words just a year ago. "Dad?" Leon said and looked up at his father. Eyezic stopped pacing for a moment and looked down at Leon.

'Yes Son?" Eyezic said.

"War... Why?" Leon said. He sounded funny when he talked because he didn't know all of his words.

"Because there always has been a war, but they just want to be ruled under one Princess." Eyezic said.

"And that Princess should be me." a voice said as the door swung open and Princess Celestia walked into the room.

"What are you doing here?"  Midnight said and used her magic to hide her kids close to her.

"I have come to tell you that if you want to fight for us there is still room. Me and my Prince, Romantic Heart and our little baby Princess Ebony Heart all rule as one and would love for you to join us Midnight. Celestia started to walk closer but Eyezic stood in the way. "Oh Eyezic, I've seen you in Ponyville and if you want to continue I would move." She said with a snappy tone. Eyezic looked back and Midnight than looked back to the Princess in front of her.

"No." Eyezic said in a challenging voice. Celesita leaned down and touched her horn to Eyezic. Magic slowly spilled into Eyezic making him numb and he collapsed to the ground.

"EYEZIC!" Midnight yelled. Celesita took a step over him and leaned in toward Midnight. "Get away from me if you want to live." Midnight threatened the Princess.

"Now, now Midnight you know you don't have the guts to kill me." Celestia said. Celestia laughed and set a paper down on her bed than teleported out of the room. Midnight used her horn to wake up Eyezic. She looked down at the paper and unrolled the paper. It read Midnight you know you should fight for me, if you don't your family will suffer. Midnight burned the paper and laid down.

The day of the war came fast. The eclipse over head, the ponies all in their armor. They all lined up over a hill, and when they heard the horn they all charged through the forest and ran to Ponyville, jabbing any pony with the Solar Empire armor on. Midnight was back at the castle guarding her children because she didn't know what Celestia had in plan for her kids.Midnight heard the clashing of the armor not to far from the castle. Midnight couldn't stop thinking of how Eyezic was.

Eyezic ran into the battle next to his father in law. They had really long spears attached to their armor, they were stabbing ponies like it was nobody's bussiness. Eyezic would wonder every now and again if he knew any of the ponies that he was stabbing, if they had family, if they had children like he does. Soon they blood started splashing on his fur, he tried to aim for the heart so it would be a quick and almost painless death. They entered Canterlot and the troops were waiting. The New Lunar Republic was holding up well with the troops but it seemed the Solar Empire was sending any pony and every pony into battle. They troops slowly dwindled down in the Solar Empire. The head guard ran into the Castle with a chunk of the troops. They looked for Celestia but she seemed to have vanished in thin air. They looked all over and found no trace of life any where. Luna flew in knew she was now delcared the Princess of Equestria, once she was back in the New Lunar Republic she went into Midnight's room. "Good news," Luna said with a happy smile. "We won, and you are getting your own kingdom. You get to rule all by yourself, you can take Eyezic and your family. The Royal Guards will be there to help you along." Luna said. Midnight's heart did a flop, beating a million miles an hour. How was she going to rule a whole empire by her self?
