So Princess Celestia linked our world with theirs, starting a war with a chaotic race, all in hopes of expanding the Equestrian empire, but she didn't take into account everything. For example, the fact that the link did not go unnoticed, and now another force works in silence, watching as the ponies create what they refer to as perfection, but they know not true perfection.

After all, Perfection always has a cost.
