midnight farwell

Luna woke in her bed covered with her extravagant blankets and quilts. she lay there staring at the sun through her window. she never favored it that much it was to bright for her, but it filled her with an incredible warmness. the door crept open slowly and her mother walked in. "hear little filly, you hungry?" her mom always seamed to know when she woke up. She jumped out of the bed and gave the world a good morning shake. her main instantly falling in perfect, alignment she loved having a short main. "yes mommy, whats for breakfast"

Gaia slowly smiled. behind the door horns began to blare. the door flew open and a group of guards and her dad and sister came walking threw the door. "happy birthday Luna" they all howled like mad pony's. with all the commotion last night she forgot toda was her birthday. she starred at them puzzled. "whats wrong Luna" her father looked at her with concern. "did you forget or something"

Luna nearly nodded in response.

"hahaha, well then my young filly, i think its time for your first flying lesson" Gaia walked over and picked her up by the ruff. " um mommy what are you...umm MOMMY" everyone stared and watched as the mother of the sun and earth threw her daughter out a window. Oblivion stared at her. "what, do you think your doing" Gaia smirked. "do you really think i didn't see what happen last night, this is my house after all" Celestia, oblivion and Adrian all looked away with a look somewhere between fear for there life and shame. slowly the young alicorn came back into view of the room and landed on the window seal. " mommy that was fun and all but dont do it again" Gaia laughed and hugged her daughter. "ok dear, now" she clapped her hoofs together. "lets get something to eat shall we"

the dining hall was filled with many pony's. most Luna didn't know but some where family. she waved over at her cousin Cadence who much to her dismay was busy talking to a cute colt. Oblivion came up behind Luna and put him on his back. "hold on dear" with a single beat of his wings he was up in the air above everyone else.  "attention everypony, the guest of honer has arrived. everyone cheered for the young filly as she stared at them. "daddy im scarred what do i say," "well isn't it obvious, when somepony comes to celebrate you turning seven, you say thank you"  Luna jumped of her fathers back and just barley glided across the room to the top of a table(she might be able to get off the ground bu it took a lot out of her. every eye in the room fallowed her "thank you everypony, thank you so much for making this such a wonderful birthday"

the party went on for a few hours Gaia and Celestia did most of the monitoring of the younger guests. Oblivion watched the rest of the party. food drinks and entertainment had gone off splendidly. "daddy daddy, can you do me a favor" Luna stood between his legs with an entourage of other fillys. "anything my dear what do you need" she smiled and climbed up in his back. "show them how you teleport daddy" the hope on her face only matched by the smile along with it. "well, maybe, i guess, i could" and like that they where upside down on the ceiling right above Gaia. she looked up at them smiling, until a small red drop fell on her muzzle. Luna looked at her moms face curler with fear, then her dads fill with pain. quickly he teleported again.

the dark room was filled with many tapestry hanging on the walls, and a throne in the middle of the room. Luna warped in just fine but Oblivion flew in like he had been pushed through a portal. hitting the floor his crown fell off and he cried out in pain. "Luna go get your mother" He waited for her to say OK, but she wouldn't. she couldn't. she stared at his crown with a look of position."i want, to do what daddy's do" she repeated. she grew close to the crown. it began to pulse as she reached out for it. Oblivion mustered up the strength to get between the two, but it was to late. with a dark flash he was knocked unconscious.

Luna looked around  finally realizing what was going on she ran as fast as her little hoofs would go. she passed many halls she had never seen before,but didn't care, following the sound of music to find mommy. "help! help! somepony help me please" but only silence would answer her, for none of the guards where at there posts. finally seeing the door to the dining hall she ran to open it. running past somepony she didn't care about she hit the door. she pulled and pulled with all her might, but to no leave. " please help mommy , anypony please help the king needs help. the pony she past walked up behind her and pulled the door open just enough for the young filly to slip in. " thank you" managed to mutter running in to the chaos. the older gentalpony walked down the hallway towards where the filly had come from

Luna flew threw the air straight at her mother. "mommy, mommy help daddy's hurt" Gaia let relief flow threw her but then quickly let the panic set back in when she saw the black crown on her head. Gaia quickly opened her wings, as did Celestia, and with a single beat flew down the hallway. Luna stood still as Adrian came up to her. "princess im hear i need you too" but she didn't finish hear what he said. instead a voice filled her head. Luna they wont reach him in time She looked around for who said it.

you need to go save him she decided to trust the voice and run back to her fathers side. "Adrian i need your help" before she could finish he had her on his back and was running down the hallway towards her family. "where to princes Luna" Luna held on for dear life. "there's an old throne room down the hall its in one of the towers in the castle" he only speed up which told her he knew where to go. and with that they took off down the dark halls of the castle
