Twilight Sparkle is enjoying a nice night of stargazing, when she suddenly sees a strange object fall from the sky and into the Everfree Forest. When she gathers the rest of the Mane 6 to investigate the next morning, they see a crash site, and mysteriously large, sqare footprints. This is indeed a visitor from the stars.

This visitor has a tragic past, which continues to haunt him in more than one way as these memories threaten Equestria's quaint peace.
