Fluttershy's Aftermath

"Listen Dear, I'm sure you'll understand that we forgot him accidentally..." Discord said.

"Accidentally? ACCIDENTALLY?!" Fluttershy asked.

"Okey, we forgot him for an unknown amount of time, but we can't simply go to the past to save him."

"I'm sure it's possible, we just have to ask the Doctor!"

Why was Fluttershy hysteric? The answer is the following: Spike was the first and only dragon she befriended due to her curiosity of dragons when seeing Spike for the first time. Considering the fact that she was also the Element of Kindness, she just had to know him better, but there was something that now made her feel even more guilty over Spikes's death: Fear. Of all the things, why did fear become one of the factors of her actual guilt? Fellow readers, fear is both a terrible obstacle and a powerful weapon. In the sense of a weapon, it's the fear of change ("Whites" in the times of the Civil Rights Movement), or also the fear of losing something you truly love (in the cases of those paperback romance stories of men crossing the world). Sadly in Fluttershy's case, it was the obstacle fear. Why didn't she witness the Dragon Migration? Why wasn't she there when Spike decided to go and know about the dragons' lifestyle? The answer was nothing less than fear itself. After answering her own mental questions with the answer being fear, Discord told her the following:

"The balance of time is delicate, and the alterations can bring great changes."

"It doesn't matter!" Fluttershy answered.

"My love, what if Twilight never existed?"

"Well, um..."

"The outcomes could be the following:

1. Alterations of the Bearers of the Elements.

2. Nightmare Moon conquering Equestria.

3. Chrysalis taking over Equestria.

4. Sombra taking over the Crystal Empire.

5. Tirek having total control over me and everypony else, but maybe the worst is the following:

6. I would be the one ruling over Equestria, which would prevent us from getting married."

Fluttershy began to cry until Discord said:

"One is insignificant compared to the fate of the world, which is another reason why we can't send the Doctor. He saves the lives of millions, and even galaxies risking his own life. Despite the amount of times he's been wanting to retire, he carries on in order to keep his wife Ditzy and his daughter Dinky safe. If he lost his life by simply trying to save Spike, many would be doomed. People like the Doctor sacrifice themselves in order to save the lives of many. This is the story of a Fiend that gave his own life in order to save the others from being attacked by the things he created:"

Fluttershy stared at the ground while Discord wrapped his arms around her, but from behind a tree, a mysterious being looked at her, thinking up an evil plan...

I just defeated Alexis Rhodes, and now, the only things I carry are my Slifer blazer, a Duel Disk, my deck, and the magicians.

It was an average morning for our green-haired protagonist...

ZAP!

... Well, if being awaken by the Dark Magician Girl then being zapped by the Dark Magician since Spike was feeling lazy on the day of the exam is considered a normal day.

"Come on Spike, you have to help Dorothy and her assistant make breakfast at the Cafeteria," our favorite female Spellcaster said.

"Alright alright, you know I need some coffee to begin these kind of days," Spike answered.

"So do I, I have to be prepared for your duel today," the Dark Magician said.

"Good morning Dorothy!"

"Good morning Spike!" answered a lady by the name of Dorothy.

"Spike, today you'll be helping my daughter with the Cafeteria, I have to bring the van," she said, before leaving. Time passed before her daughter, whose name we don't know, arrived.

"Hi, you must be Spike!" she said.

Man, she is attractive, I should know her better, Spike thought to himself.

"Yeah, that's me. Let's get to work!" Sadly, it was the day that Obelisks and Ras swarmed the Cafeteria due to test anxiety, and as average people know, a full stomach calms minds. To those who aren't familiar to Call of Duty's Zombies, here's an example so you can see how the situation was:

However, after a full hour, there was no sign of Ras nor Obelisks in the Cafeteria.

"Thank you Spike, I couldn't have done it without you," Dorothy's daughter said to him, ruffling his green hair.

"Your welcome, I enjoyed doing this," Spike answered.

"Since we're done here, I'll take you to the Shop, my mother wants to see you there." The two walked out of the Cafeteria and then walked until reaching the Card Shop, where Dorothy was waiting for them.

"Hello Spike, I heard you have a practical exam today, so I want you to wait a while, I'll be right back," she said, before entering the Shop. A couple of moments passed by until Dorothy returned with a booster pack with Yugi's face.

"These booster packs are really rare, for they were made for the kind of decks the King of Games himself uses. I want to give this to you as a token of my appreciation. If you want to keep on working with us, we'll be waiting here every morning at 7:00 A.M."

"I will keep on working here. Now if you'll excuse me, I have a couple of exams to apply," Spike said, before running to the classroom.

Later (sadly, Crowler bought all the other rare cards and gave them to Chazz so he could build a deck to beat Spike...)...

"I'm dueling an Obelisk, and it's Chazz?" Spike asked, at Obelisk Arena.

"Yes Spike, I arranged this duel so it can be here, right in front of the whole school!" Crowler answered.

Alexis thought to herself: Something's wrong here, I hope he doesn't accept...

"If I have to duel him to ascend, so be it!"Spike yelled.

"Let's end what we began here slacker!" Chazz exclaimed.

"DUEL!" they both exclaimed.

''Alright, I'll start off with Shining Angel in Defense Mode (800 DEF), then I'll activate Two-Man Cell Battle! I'll end my turn by setting a face-down and then activating my Spell Card's effect: during each End Phase, we can Special Summon a Level 4 or lower Normal monster, and I choose V-Tiger Jet, in Defense Mode! (1800 DEF)"

1. Spike

Alright, I drew Tornado Bird, and I have DMG, Burstinatrix, Waboku, Harpie 1 and Sage's Stone. I think it would be better if I raid the field. Spike thought.

"I'll summon Harpie Lady 1 (1600 ATK due to its effect), then I'll attack your Shining Angel!"

"You fool, you activated my Angel's effect: when it's destroyed, I can Special Summon a Light Monster with an ATK of 1500 or less in Attack Mode, and I choose Z-Metal Tank! (1500 ATK)." Chazz exclaimed.

"I'll end my turn with a face-down."

"I use my Spell Card's effect to summon X-Head Cannon, in Attack Mode! (1800 ATK)"

"I'll summon W-Wing Catapult in Attack Mode (1300), but I'll then activate my Trap, 'A Rival Appears!'! This lets me Special Summon a monster from my hand with a Level equal to the one of a monster on your side of the field, so come on out Y-Dragon Head! (1500 ATK) I'll fusion V and W to summon VW-Tiger Catapult! (2000 ATK) Then, I'll fusion X, Y and Z to bring forth XYZ-Dragon Cannon! (2800 ATK)!"

(Audience gasps)

"But wait, there's less!"

What is he talking about? Spike thought to himself.

"I'm fusing these two to summon the V-to-Z Dragon Catapult Cannon! (3000 ATK) Now, due to my Cannon's effect, I can remove from play one of the cards you control once per turn, so say goodbye to your featherbrain! Now V-to-Z, attack directly!"

"I activate Waboku!"

"Lucky punk, I end my turn."

Alright, now that I drew Harpie's Brother, I can do the following...

"I'll summon Tornado Bird in Defense Mode (1000 DEF), and I'll end my turn by using your Spell Card to summon Harpie's Brother in Defense Mode (600 DEF)!"

1. Chazz

"I will remove from play your Harpie's Brother, then I'll use V-to-Z's other effect. Now, attack and switch that bird to Attack Mode! (1100 ATK) (Note; VWXYZ's effect in this case consists on changing the battle position of the attack target)."

Spike: 2100 - Chazz: 4000

"I'll activate Dian Keto the Cure Master to end my turn," Spike said.

Spike: 3100 - Chazz: 4000

"V-to-Z, attack directly!" a white laser flew towards Spike, blasting him and tossing him due to the sudden impact. "I'll end my turn, to get you out of your misery."

"I'll use Twin-Man Cell Battle's effect to bring out Elemental Hero Burstinatrix, in Attack Mode, (1200 ATK)" Spike said, in a worn-out tone, while trying to get up.

"Get up, you Slifer Slime!" Chazz said, while laughing.

"I'm... up *pant*, and ready *pant* for my next turn," Spike answered, before beginning his turn.

"Let's see what I got." Pot of Greed, here we go...

"I'll activate Pot of Greed!" Spike drew his two cards and said: "and I couldn't have asked for a better draw right now. Hey Burstinatrix, mind if I sacrifice you? I'll bring you back in a while."

"Do what you have to do," Burstinatrix answered.

"It's show time. I'll sacrifice my Elemental Hero Burstinatrix  in order to bring, courtesy of the King of Games himself..."

Could this be? Alexis asked herself.

"... The Dark Magician Girl, in Attack Mode! (2000 ATK) Then, I'll use Monster Reborn to bring back my Elemental Hero Burstinatrix, in Attack Mode!"

"'How stupid, you can't take me down with those two!"

"Not yet Chazz, as you can see, my Spellcaster is missing her teacher, and I plan on bringing him forth, so I'll activate Sage's Stone (If there is a face-up "Dark Magician Girl" on your side of the field, you can Special Summon a "Dark Magician" from your hand or your Deck) Now Dark Magician, come on out!"

"I don't think we'll be able to take him down," the Dark Magician Girl said with worry.

"Remain calm my student, he still has a card left," the Dark Magician replied.

"You have him?!" Chazz asked, with a hint of surprise in his voice.

"But wait, there's more! The Dark Magician can't take your Megazord friend over there, so I'll use this card: Dark Magic Twin Burst! Now, since there's both a Dark Magician and a Dark Magician Girl on my side of the field, he gets his Attack increased equal to the Attack Points she has, giving him a total of 4500!"

"WHAT?!?!"

"Now Dark Magician, attack that robot!"

"Twin Dark Magic Attack!" the two Spellcasters exclaimed, while the blast went right through the attacked monster's chest, which would then fall right over Chazz. (Chazz: 4000-1500=2500)

"Now Dark Magician Girl and Elemental Hero Burstinatrix, attack!"  The female Spellcaster, along with the warrior, shot a blast towards Princeton, and along with Spike yelled:

"DARK FLARE COMET!!!"

"Ahh!" Chazz exclaimed, while losing the rest of his Life Points. The audience cheered Spike, and with a smile on his face, the Dragon-Blood received a Ra Yellow blazer from Chancellor Sheppard.

"Congratulations Spike, not only have you given your best today, but you've also proven what hard work and perseverance can bring!" the Chancellor said.

This was it, Spike was now a Ra Yellow. On the other hand, Crowler looked at Spike, forming a plan in his mind in order to seek revenge...
