Chapters "Don't you wish you had a double life?" said a voice, nearby me. I was too zoned out, staring blanker than blank at my lunch tray of an apple core and some half eaten pizza. I fiddled with some of the cheese that was loose with my plastic fork when I felt something prod my shoulder twice. It snapped me back in and my head snaps to see that it's my girlfriend Rey trying to grasp my attention. I smiled at her, as a notification that I'm "Back to Earth" as she calls it. One of her friends was doing another what if speech but it at least seemed interesting so I decided to let her roll since it seemed she was already on one.
"Like, what if in the day you're just some boring guy but then late at night you're some secret CIA agent hunting down terrorists that want to destroy America?" She inquired, eyes shining like it's the best idea she had though of yet in her life. We were only at lunch for an hour before we were to head back to classes. My girlfriend beside me, Rey as I mentioned earlier, has been in a relationship with me for about 2 years now. We didn't have any classes with each other this year, so lunch was our only way of being able to meet up.
"I'm pretty sure that'd suck really." Rem replied with, looking confident as if she knew the comment would spark a word war. What? Word war? Yeah, I said it....Fine, argument. Anyways, Rey was taking classes in law, so she knew what and how to say things in a way to spark something in your brain. Whether it be anger, remorse, or joy, she'd make you click.
"Huh, sorry what?" her friend said.
"I said, that'd suck. I mean, think about it Amy, what if something in either part of your "lives" super big happens? Then what? There goes saving the world or saving your paycheck! Maybe during a mission you got captured to getting stuck in agonizing traffic for about hours? There goes everything." Rey retorted with.
Rey: 1 Amy: Zeroooo
"Well, when you put it that way."
"I'm sorry are you going to argue against that?"
"One day I will and your law classes won't do dirt against it!" Amy sternly pledged, pointing a finger in Rey's face.
"That's what you mark on me every time, you have yet to do it." Rey countered with while moving Amy's finger from her face.
I swear she's the best sometimes.
Beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep! went the bell that echoed among the room, informing us that it's time to return to classes.
I stretched out. "Wheeeelp looks like it's back to Fessimers before I can catch some z's." I kiss and hug Rey.
"See you later Leon." Rey waves goodbye and leaves out the other way.
I pick up my bookbag, and head for my last class which was mainly Computer Sciences. We had a test today and was hoping my friend studied because what we had to learn for the test will be needed to be known for our next project, which we planned to do together and ace. On my way to the class though, something weird happened. Halfway to the class, it's as if everything slowed down for nearly a minute and I faintly say something zip straight past me. Once it has done that everything was back to normal but, I bumped into someone.
"Sorry!" I called.
The event must've literally been a minute because I had made it to class merely seconds before the bell rang again. I sat myself down and prepared for the test. Mr.Fessimer began to immediately hand out tests and I awaited mine.
Let's do this.
"Uhhhhhhhhhg" I signed as I fell onto my bed with a PLOMPH . Even no matter how much I had studied for that test, that had physically and mentally wore me out to the core. I turned the TV on so I could doze off because I fall asleep faster when there's something going on in the background. I closed my eyes and instantly went asleep. The dream I had, however was incredibly weird but it felt like a flashback. It went straight back to when I felt everything slow down in the hallway but this time it went for about an eternity.
"Hello?..Hello?...hello?" My voice echoed through the hallways abyss. I started to hear whispering, which became, muttering, which became talking. It was like a playback of my whole day but my vision started to get swirly. My body felt tingly, like when your foot goes asleep tingly. Next thing I know, I was in space. Or what I thought it was. I looked and spun around looking everywhere. It wasn't space, it was my mind! There were memories and visions from my early childhood to my first days in college. I even noticed what had recently happened at lunch.
"This is too damn surreal." I finally said. The words flew out of my mouth quickly, like if I was chocking on them.
Something began to appear over the memories. It was a constant playback of the lunch room with Amy constantly repeating the sentence.
"What if you lived a double life?"
This started scarring me to death. Why am I in my mind? Before I knew it, I started falling from the room, and into some other room. Except this time, it wasn't any room, it was an elevator. A certain song was in the middle of playing. I slowly got up and looked at the buttons I could press. There was only three options though. "Up" "Down" and "Exit".
"What could possibly go wrong?" I asked and pressed the up button, hoping I'd wake up by now. Once I did I hear an audible beep and I felt the elevator begin to rise upwards. Once it finally stopped it opened and there was a room. Little did I know though, there was a woman standing there in a dress. She had quite the looks, as she seemed like royalty in a sense. Her dress was a darker shade of blue that was a long length. I noticed a mark near he right thigh on her dress which was the crescent moon over a black splotch. It was quite the dress. Her physique on the other hand was throwing my mind left and right. She had very defined curves with a beautiful face. Upon her head donned a crown that had the same mark on her dress in the middle of it. It was like she was some moon goddess.
"We welcome you." She greeted. I nervously looked around. There was nobody else here.
"W-Uh...We?" I asked
"Yes, we have been meaning to contact you for the time being, did you not earlier reach our message?" The woman inquired.
It soon clicked. She was the one who did that weird thing in the hallway.
"I-I think I did, but I had to get to class. Sorry" I looked down at the ground.
"No need to be sorrowful, we simply are here to take a survey from thee. Then we shall leave you be."
Heh, that rhymed.
"It did?" She wondered.
"Woah, woah. You just read my mind!"
"Indeed I have, you see, I am a powerful deity." She explained, no matter how bs it seemed. Royalty maybe but, a deity is waaayyy over the line.
"What's the survey. Please tell me." I demanded. The woman raised her hand as if to tell me to calm down yet not be afraid at the same time.
"We are simply here to ask if thee would like to partake in duplicity." She conveyed.
"Wait are you asking me if I want a..." My jaw dropped beyond the floor.

The woman just stood there, vigilantly waiting for me to answer her. I mean, Rey gave an excellent explanation of why it'd suck to have a double life. Yet still, it would be pretty awesome to have one. I just needed to think a long, long time for this.
"We may take your answer when ready." said the woman.
"I have my answer." I replied.
"Oh, pray-tell."
"Look, that sounds cool and all but I think I'd need a while to think about this...If it's cool with you."
"It is agreed, we shall meet here again but, for now we will bid thee a goodbye, Mr.Gant. Just make sure that you find what you think is right, as your once choice you decide on will be final and that's it, do you understand?"
"Yes ma'am." I gulped.
"By the way miss, I didn't get your name." I remembered. The woman gave me a warming smile.
"You may call me Luna, Princess Luna." She answered.
What a nice name
"Now wake up, Mr.Gant, you have a message from your close one." She finalized. Once she finished that sentence, I felt everything whip back like some fast roller-coaster took a full on 180 degrees turn and took me back to real life. I quickly jumped up and looked at my phone, it had a text message from Rey, just like the princess said.
Hey, we're heading over to Shocks for a big meetup. You game? read the message.
"Sure" I replied.
I took a quick shower, put some new clothes on, grabbed my phone and headed out the door. Only thing was that my mind was clouded by the super trippy dream I just had.
It is agreed, we shall meet here again but, for now we will bid thee a goodbye, Leon. Just make sure that you find what you think is right, as your once choice you decide on will be final and that's it, do you understand? bounced around my head. I had to make a decision by tomorrow and it had to be final. I wonder what the others would think of this. Hell, they'd think I finally lost it. Minus well keep this just between me, myself, and I.
"Guess I have some actual thinking to do." I grumbled as I walked towards my car.

Hello there. This is probably my actual fist story to be posted and soon to be continued on this here website. It's technically my first time and I currently have no editor to overlook my stuff so if any are interested, then hit me up with a PM.
After an annoyingly loooong drive to Shocks (People just drive like their blinkers aren't in their car for some friggin' reason) I walk into the restaurant and tried to spot Rey and everyone else. They spotted me and waved me over to the back of the place which had this really big booth seat and let me sit down next to Rey.
"Sup guys?"
"Nothing much, why did it take you some long to get here Leon? It's like a 10 minute drive." Rey asked. Says for her, she didn't enter her own mind then wake to only encounter the lovely moments in life like rush hour.
"Rush hour." Is all I had to reply with and everyone nodded in familiarity. The waitress came up to us for what we wanted so we ended up ordering two large pizzas except for Sean who got spaghetti because he has an issue with sharing...He's just like that. While we waited we just sat and talked the whole time. It was nothing though, only about what projects are incoming, and other jazz. There had seemed to be a long wait and we were just about to call it out when the waitress came up to our table with both pizzas. She gave us a sorry for the long wait and to enjoy the pizza. This pizza was layed out with everything I'd drool over! There was pepperoni, sausage, onions, diced tomatoes, and green peppers all combined to make the most delicious and best smelling pizza to ever exite my taste-buds.
"What are we waiting for? Let's dig in! I cheered while grabbing a big slice.
"Best...Pizza...Ever!" I groggily announced.
Jesus how many slices did I eat? Brain?

I was already back in my car after eating and Rey was with me. She looked like she about ready to pass out at any given moment, but I won't blame her if we ate a good amount of pizza after school. I asked her how many did she have and she said not to worry about it and that she'd feel it in the morning. Shrugging in reply to her's, I started up the car, turned up the volume on the radio, and drove off. In some coincidence one of my favorite "thinking songs" as I like to call it came on. Good thing for me I had thinking to do since Rey actually did pass out momentarily. She look peaceful at body and mind, but no not me. Not my mind at least.
That Princess woman deity Luna whatever she was of course expecting to met up with me again. Next time I hope she skips to the waiting room and not all the scary crap that went on or what felt like eternity. What is her world even like? Is it parallel? Is it being currently destroyed by three little girls with super powers? Hell, maybe it's more peaceful than ever! I won't ever know unless I say yes.

Even after being in for what felt like nearly an hour a state of mind I had already arrived back at Campus. I woke up Rey and told her we were back. She thanked me and I let her out the car.
"You have fun?" I asked
Rem smiled "Yeah, that was great!"
"Alright, see you later then."
"Yeah."
We hugged then we departed our ways. Rem stayed in the second dorm building considering the large amount of attendees at the college so we never really get to hang out near campus at times. On the way back though, I forgot something in my car and headed back. I opened my front door and opened the glove compartment to grab my wallet when I noticed a piece of paper. Not even a scroll? It was wrapped up in a red fabric with a special golden emblem on it.
"Huh? How the.." I ask bewildered as I open it. In it it read,
Dear Mr.Gant, We send you this from our home world with the little time we have. As you continue to decide unless you already have, We'll soon contact you immediately so make haste on your decision. Once we've met again, We'll be meeting with my older kin, Celestia as she'll be the one to help you blend in with our people to dissipate any suspicions between you and where you reside from if you accept. Decline, and all ties with you are broken.

I rolled it back up and placed it in my pocket. Wow, even they'd disguise me if I'd accept. I wouldn't find that at any way disturbing. But yet, she has a sister is what's baffling. By the name Celestia it sounds like a Sun goddess which would place Luna as some Moon goddess. If they actually are that is. No way, but I can still take the princess part. I quickly headed into my wing of the dorms, opening my wallet and taking our my ID. I gave a long, pensive look at my information. Another life? Would I become a girl or something? Maybe even some suddenly appearing royal prince. If not those two, then I'll just get the good old regular life. Yet on second though, what if they have completely different customs from here? I wouldn't fit in at all and my cover would be blown.
"Damn, I forgot about that didn't I?" I muttered to myself.
No matter what I still had to make a decision.
I open my door, set my car keys, wallet and the scroll on the top of my dresser and I just sit on my bed. It was about as silent as the vacuum of space. I just sat there, staring at my television. I'm going to have to actually think didn't I? I closed my eyes for what felt like years where quickly speeding past me. I was in a complete pensive state of mind where I was only blocked in with my consciousness. I attempted to imagine what this whole kingdom and whatnot this Princess, who turned out to have an older sister is like? I imagined it a bit more in the past like the age of the renaissance. You know, Laissez-fair and all that. I walked around within it, the place seemed peaceful for a change. I then found myself changing scenery into the main castle. It towered over me about 150 ft. tall! Everything began to fade away. I'm now back on that damned elevator.
Ahhh hell did I fall asleep again?
"It appears so." echoed a voice. The elevator beeped and the door opened. It's the lobby again. But now this time I notice Luna and whoever is standing by her. He radiance kinda added extra light to the room as if she herself was like a miniature sun...Speaking of hot by the way, WOW. She had hair about the same length or longer than Luna's as it waved different colors of the spectrum in a sense yet, violet wasn't there. The woman was almost two inches taller than Luna and had a very defined figure. Her curves were of course noticeable and was very beautiful in facial features. She noticed me checking her out and gives me a smile. I've been detected, abort mission eyes.
Yes, commander.
"Oh, where are my manners, this is our oldest sister, Celestia." Celestia, who it turned out to actually be, gave me a small bow and I returned with one back.
"Pleasure to meet you."
"As to you the same." I replied. Smooth is my middle name, you know.
"You of course, Mr.Gant are back here and you understand why, right?" Luna asked, she had a stern tone in her voice which mean she was ready for business. I silently nodded. "Good, we were hoping so. Now we must ask, do you accept the offer?" She inquired. There it was, that question . She gazed at me like if she was studying a foreign animal, attempting to understand my thoughts and what I was feeling. We sat for ages until I looked up, determination burning in my eyes.
"I accept your offer." swiftly flew out of my mouth. I had tied my soul into whatever will soon ensue. Luna peacefully get's up, eyes are shut.
"It has been heard. We thank you for accepting, Mr.Gant." She delivers. "Are we done here for now, dear sister?"
"Yes, I believe so." She replies. They walk up to a door and open it, before they exit Luna looks back at me.
"You will be receiving something once you wake up, Mr.Gant. We expect to se you tomorrow as that's when you will start. Have a good nights sleep." Was what she last said before exiting along with her sister before the door slams shut.

Everything fades away from me and I'm left floating before even it feels as if I disappear too. I immediately shot awake, sweating like I was just in the most intense sports game of my life. My clothes were still on and I stared at the clock as it read 11:30 PM on the dot. Thank god it was Friday or I'd have to jump off the 6th story floor. I took off my clothes, leaving me in just my boxers and I was going to head right to sleep, but I noticed something under my bed. It was this book, bigger than one of those weird Twilight ones or whatever that mess is. It was a fresh copy of what seemed to be "The History of Equestria Vol. 1"
"Sugar honey ice tea! Volume one?" I exasperated. I mean, I can read a book easily. but damn would I have a ways to go. How many volumes am I going to have to read? I opened it up to the very first page where a note was left by someone. It read

I'm going to probably hate initiation, aren't I? I flipped through the book, every page had some pictures and a million words on each. Whatever this Equestria place is, it has quite the deep history. Hopefully it isn't akin to ours and how things went down on our side of the multiverse or what not. I got into bed, checked my emails on my phone, then went to sleep. I had all Saturday to myself and then my first day at this new place. As long as I get my sleep, I'm happy, that is.
Leon Gant, you now have a double life and probably just sold your soul to two very beautiful princesses that can invade deep inside your brain. What have you done? Rey would probably chastise me with.
And my answer to that?
Same thing I do everyday, live life.

Hey guys, super duper mega ultrakill sorry for not updating in over a month. I've been super worked up with procrastinating homework AND this story so I'm super glad I pushed out this chapter tonight. Our main character, Leon has not accepted to live a double life over in Equestria. The question is, do you think he will e able to keep up with both?
I woke up groggily to the sound of my annoying, damned from hell alarm clock. I slam my palm on the snooze button for it to cease it's ongoing wails of toured souls from it's demonic presence that has reigned over humanity for too long with it's red, bloody hand of torment. The beast was silenced and equality and everlasting peace was brought upon the land....until I woke up. My head plopped back into the cold, pillow promptly afterwards.
"Saturday...." Flew out of my mouth in joy. I vaulted out of bed and headed right for my bathroom, passing by that book Luna decided to give me for the second life I just granted myself into. Once I remembered that, I realized I started tonight actually, but I'd rather just suppress the hype for now and focus on what's important like my hygiene. I hopped into the shower, brushed me teeth, made sure my hair didn't look like a tornado went through it multiple times got out. Once I did, my eyes again locked view onto that book. Only thing I could let out was a sigh as I reached out and grabbed the book.
As I continued reading, I finished up everything else I could possible need to do in order to finish up starting my morning. This was was really good! Some of this stuff was amazingly interesting. There was this quite long chapter about some "Chaotic War" Seems as if Luna and her sister Celestia were in it against some dude named Discord. The man was..specific in the way he handled things. Chocolate milk rain, rainbow colored land-forms, potato launchers ? Wow, they dealt with something alright. Too bad they won and turned him into a stone statue. I wonder if he ever began eroding. I turned on my TV but, only to have something in the background as I read my book. My eyes won't leave a page it's too enticing!
Halfway through a page, I heard my phone start ringing. Once I answered, it hung up immediately. What the hell? I look at the caller ID, it read Unknown with a weird area code.
"Probably the wrong number." I reassured myself. Doesn't usually happen to me often but this was just out of the blue. Yet again, when is a wrong number dial not? I set it aside as I continued reading the book until I got another phone call. I pick it up and check it again, it read with Unknown with that weird area code.
Dude, are you kidding?
I set my phone down again until I felt something rumble. It wasn't an earthquake so it has to be that I'm hungry. REALLY hungry to put it at that. Walking into the kitchen still reading my book, I open my pantry and look for something to eat. Oh, boy, I have nothing to eat. Isn't that wonderful?
Christ, I just really roasted myself. My stomach rumbles again at the thought of roast.
I continue rummaging through my inventory or food until there's a loud knock at my door. I stop what I'm doing and decide to go open it, at the expense of putting my hunt for food to a skidding halt.
"Coming!" I exclaimed. Walking up to the door it knocks again but this time in a rhythm only two people in the whole universe should know. One of those where me. I open up the door and to no surprise it's my close friend Vitoly, who was holding food in his hand. My stomach seemed like it was cheering once I spotted it.
"Vitoly! How's it rollin'?" I asked him as we did our usual greeting. A handshake that then goes into a shoulder bump, then snap. It's nothing special but it is to us.
"Like a BMW. You?" He was smiling like he always does.
"I need some fuel, oh and look!" I pointed at his big bag of food. "There's the gas station!" We both laughed like idiots before letting him into my dorm. He sat the food down on my table and grabbed something from my fridge while I grabbed my book to read while I ate. Vitoly was already checking it out, looking at it with confusion.
"Yo what book is this?" Waving it around to grab my attention.
Busted
"Uhhh..I..I found it in the library and decided to read it. It's friggin' good!" I horribly lied. If he falls for that then I'm completely screwed. Telling them that I got this from some amazingly hot moon goddess and her almost twin sister would have me taken to the mental ward in a heartbeat.
"Oh, mind if I check it out?"
"Eh, whateves." I replied. Vitoly seemed really ecstatic.
He began reading while we ate, he had brought a big breakfast from a local joint not to far from where we live, and it was friggin' godly in taste. I swear, it's like local or family places make more delicious food than the big ones do. I look over to Vitoly who's really into the book like I was, until he swallowed some of what he was eating and looked at me like he had some crazy idea to steal the Declaration of Independence or something.
"H-Holy What!?" Came a scream. I asked him what part he was at.
"The part about that Discord guy. Who the hell can make anything they want from their own imagination and NOT make some hot chicks to be with!? If I were him, we'rd literally would be swimming in chicks!"
"Dude, I'm dating Rey, come on you know this already." I reminded him.
"Your girlfriend is hot, by the way."
"I know that"
"Like, seriously hot."
"Just eat , Vitoly..."
"Okay, Okay!.....sorry."
We continued to slaughter the breakfast he had brought until it was all gone. I felt as if I never ate in days, well, compared to what I usually get, this took the cake. We sat and talked until Vitoly got a phone call from one of his cousins who was in town today and wanted to know if he wanted to meet up. I asked if I could tag along and Vitoly said that his cousin wouldn't mind. I grabbed my phone and my wallet, then we left to head downstairs to meet up with his cousin. We were waiting outside, looking both ways to see where his cousin will drive in from until Vitoly broke the silence.
"Hey man, how's it going with you and your girl?" He asked
"Great, actually." My mouth was half full of syrup drowned pancakes.
"You sure?"
"W-What's that supposed to mean?"
"Look, I'm just saying that you two aren't really that close yet and it's been nearly 2 years" Wait, what is this dude going on about? He's not the one dating Rey, I'm pretty sure I am.
"You two don't hug, don't kiss. She has her space, and then there's yours."
"Vitoly, I'm pretty sure I know what I'm doing. Remind me who's dating Rey again!" I was off my pedal right now, hoping this unnecessary conversation would end.
"You are...." He said, sounding defeated. Thank lord, I though that'd lead to something it shouldn't. What's been up with Violy lately, he's been trying to dig past my comfort zone, something I don't ever think of doing. We waited the rest of the time in silence before we spotted his cousin pulling up to us. My friend takes shotgun and I get in the back of the car. I give my greetings to him and he returns them back.
"So, where to Vi?" His cousin asks. I was still buckling in my seat-belt.
"The Boneyeard!"
"Sounds good to me." And we pulled off towards there. I kinda like the Boneyard since it's a food place but also an arcade.
While Vitoly and his cousin were catching up, I was just in the back staring out the window and thinking about what's going to be happening tonight. Which is my initiation for the "Double Life" I had accepted from the night before. I felt really reluctant but I also was filled with tons of curiosity about what I just got myself into. As long as it's not dangerous and I can get my sleep, it's cool. Doing something other than College is a blessing in my eyes really, with all this work they throw at me, which I can understand why but all to do in one day seems like that's probable to finish without my staying awake until the next sun rise. I draw the line there, really.
On the other end, I like this life I'm living and I don't want to entirely loose it.
We all entered into the Boneyard, got our stamps and then found a table to post at while we were here. Vitoly and his cousin went to go play the cooperative games like House of the Dead 2 and whatnot. I choose to walk around and scan for what I might want to do while we were here. Card in hand, I noticed a machine with a big screen on it called "Speed Dial" and it seemed to be one of those games where you have to press the button quickly enough to earn the best amount of tickets. And if there's one thing about these games and I.
I really...really have a history with these games. And I won't leave until I claim victory. I swipe my card and gave the game 5 points before it came to life. A light appeared and started moving around in a big circle, which would fly past a 300 ticket bonus. It was the waiting game, and oh, did I wait. Once I felt it was time, I slammed down on the button and it stopped disappointingly at the mark before the 300 goal!
"Only three tickets, wooptey friggin' hoo hah doo." I deadpanned. I continued swiping my card and playing this game, with only the goal to win, I didn't want to give up on this. I wanted to win so badly. I almost swiped my card again for around the tenth time before getting a text message from Vitoly saying that him and his cousin are at the table ordering food and wanted to know what I wanted. I told him to just get me a pizza but, I had to use the bathroom really quick. Putting my phone away, I looked around to see if I could find the bathrooms anywhere.
This place is a labyrinth.
Luckily I found a person who worked there and she kindly told me that they were just right behind me. I embarrassingly told her thanks and walked in to take a leak. While I was using it thought I saw some shady looking guy walk in to use a stall. I made sure to keep a mental tab on him while I'm here right now. While drying my hands off after washing them, the door opened again, except it was that guy again but with his eyes on me. I tried moving around him to get out but he pushed me back.
"Dude, sorry about that I just need to go and eat." He only made some creepy chuckle at me and took out a switchblade. Was I seriously about to get jumped at an arcade around this time of night?
"Nah man," He answered, "You're staying here with me." Whelp, that answered my question at the very least.
He had both his hands out ready to strike and I tried to find some way to slide past him and get out the door but, to no avail his slightly larger frame was blocking any chances of that happening. This guy must mean some serious business because that sly smirk on his face was all I was staring at. It's almost like it read "I'm going to enjoy this!" written all over it. There is no telling what I might have to do, but it's either me on him that's leaving this bathroom.
Whatever this is, this isn't fun. Not one bit.

I'm super duper sorry I didn't update on May 28th like I should have. Blame it on my intensive procrastination and the fact that I ever so slowly worked on this while I did nothing over the summer and now that I'm in school it was put onto a halt.
Since I don't want many to think I have died I'm going to post this then release the second half later once I get to work on it.
Take it as a hiatus, and again. I'm so sorry.
