It turned out to be Soarin.

Twilight had only met Sorin once but she welcomed him all the same "hello welcome to ponyville library how may I help you?" Twilight said cheerfully.

"Yes" said Soarin "I was wondering if you had a book on metal works, Spitfire wanted me to find one cos she's working on a new way of flying or some thing and she wants a book on metals and the best ways to use them" the pale Pegasus said reading from a scrap of paper.

Rainbow calmed down, and trotted into the library trying to look as cool as possible. She went up to Twilight to ask her if she had the new Daring Do book, but she happened to notice a small puddle over where Twilight was standing. Geez. Rainbow smiled, and made her way back towards Twilight. But she stopped as her hoof stepped into the puddle. Rainbow Dash put on her best surprised look, as she looked down at the puddle. Twilight blushed, and she knew if she didn’t do something soon, Rainbow would figure it out.

“What’s this stuff? Icing?” Rainbow asked as she looked up.

Rainbow was upset by the hole Soarin and Twilight thing but she needed to talk to Twilight one more time before she decided to ignore her. "I do hope that she was just seeing Soarin as a friend last night" Rainbow thought as she flew to the library.

When she had arrived at the front door to the tower like building she knocked and waited until a much cheerier Twilight answered the door "come in Rainbow Dash" Twilight said warmly

"can we speak some where private?" Dash asked

" yes of course we will speak in my room" Twilight said completely forgetting that she hadn't changed the sheets from last night!
