shooting star and her best friend raindrop meet kyubey a weird rabbit-cat like creature that will grant them one wish in order to be a magical filly but they will have to fight nightmares. after being saved by glitter ribbon they are told they have a choice but glitter tells them not to rush it as what they wish for should be for their own need. but mysterious filly, time turner hopes to not have star become a magical filly for unknown reasons.
