I flew back to Ponyville. Tired, I started loosing altitude and before I could land on the hard pile of bricks, I used my magic to make a pile of soft pillows to cushion my landing. Even so, the impact was hard, very hard. I landed on the pillows, and winced. After laying on the pillows for 10 minutes or so, I got up and woozily trotted back to the tree house. Exhausted, I slumped into bed and fell asleep instantly. The fall to the ground wasn't as bad as the nightmare. The nightmare was, oh, far, far, worse. I dreamt I was in a cavern with no light. I tried to use my magic to conjure flames to light the torches I somehow knew were there. I couldn't Just then, the cavern, and I burst into flames, and slowly, the flames became a jelly-like black substance that rose over my legs. When it reached my chest, the pain was so much, I fell to my stomach. I began coughing. I looked at my fur, It was stained red and, wait, my fur wasn't it"s normal purplish-lavender color, but was deep, deep, deep, purple, so deep, it was almost black. Just then the voice spoke up. "Twilight Sparkle... " I cried out in fear," Who are you... wait, what are you?" "That's obvious." The voice replied."Nightmare Moon," I answered in disgust. "That's right." The voice replied in it's usual snarky way. "What do you want?" I replied. "That is simple. I want your body. Your sorrow has been feeding my darkness for a long time. I am nearly ready to consume you." "No! This isn't happening..." Then my body rose in height, my mane cut changed from smooth and flowing to demonically flowing and curving, and armor covered my hooves, legs, chest, and head. My eyes turned to the retinas and cornea's of a cats. Then awaking, I made a mirror and looked at myself. No change from the dream. Except that my armor was hanging in my closet. I staggered out to the day light. Then not used to it, fainted.
