Goodness is Magic (part 1)

After the defeat of Nightmare Moon by the Elements of Harmony a few years ago,  a new evil has arrived.  The new evil has been called "Midnight Rhyme".  There is no telling when she will arrive and begin her destruction on all of Equestria."Whoa, that's a lot of information of what may happen", said Sweet Candy. Sweet Candy was a young alicorn that was in Princess Sunny Sunset's castle, reading one of Equestria's history books. "I wonder if this truth, but it is in the history book, so it must be truth", said Sweet.

Sweet Candy walk through the castle to go and see Princess Sunny to ask her, herself.  It was an celebration today, called the Summer Sun to celebrate Princess Sunny Sunset and Queen Celestia on what they had did for Equestria. There were so many ponies working to get the celebration going. "Wow, so many ponies, oh well it is an important celebration today after all" said Sweet. "I know I can't talk to the queen right now, but I can still talk to the princess". Sweet Candy walk over to where the guards were at guarding Princess Sunny's room. "Hello guards can I talk to Princess Sunny for a while?" said Sweet. "Princess Sunny Sunset is busy right now preparing for the celebration today, we will assume that you will go and get ready as well." said the guards. “Okay then, I’ll try again later” said Sweet. As soon as Sweet Candy turn around, she heard a voice that she had knew. "Excuse me for a second, guards can you let her in for me? said Princess Sunny. Sweet Candy was happy to see that it was the princess. "Oh, yes a course, your highest." said the guards, letting Sweet Candy into the princess’s room.

"Princess Sunny, I am so glad to see you." said Sweet. "Sweet Candy, you are one of my sweetest ponies ever, what lets you in? said Sunny. "I'm here to ask you a question about Midnight Rhyme." said Sweet. "I would love to tell you, but in exchange for some of your candy."  said Sunny.  Sweet Candy use her magic to bring in some of her homemade candy to Sunny.  Sunny using her magic brought a book over while chewing some of the candy. "Princess, I already read what was in the history book." said Sweet. "Oh, then you think that I may have another answer to your question!". said Sunny in an anger tone.  "Oh no, it isn't like that your highest!" said Sweet. "Oh, sorry your candy is so good, and I have being in so much stress over this celebration." said Sunny. "I just feel that this celebration should just be... said Sunny when all of a sudden there was a mysterious sound or better yet music coming from around the castle. "Over with." said Sunny. "Where is that music coming from?"  "It sound like it's coming from the center of the caste, princess." said Sweet. The princess and Sweet Candy ran to the center of the castle where all of the other ponies were at. The queen came out to see that everypony including her daughter were wondering where the music was coming from.  "Whoever it is, show yourself!" said Queen Celestia. Soon, a darkness wave of musical notes came around and a revealed a pony.

The pony was an alicorn, but older like Princess Sunny Sunset size and age. She was purple, with black hair covered with spiders and their webs. She had a music note over a quarter moon as a cutie mark. "I am Midnight Rhyme, and I am here to bring destruction and music over Equestria." said Midnight. "I don't care leave now, or I will have to deal with you myself!" said Celestia.  "I wish not to fight you now, but later on, when the time is right." said Midnight. "Then what do you want then? " said Sunny. "Sunny, stay out of it, I agree with you, but still, Midnight what do you want?" said Celestia. "All I want is Equestria and for everyone to hear my music." said Midnight. "We can do the music, but not Equestria." said Celestia.  "Then I will return later to bring my vengeance, goodbye." said Midnight as she disappeared through the music notes.  "Sunny, Sweet Candy come with me. "said Celestia. Sweet Candy and Princess Sunny went with Queen Celestia to her room. "Sweet Candy, I have a very important mission to do for me." said Celestia.

After the appearance of Midnight Rhythm, during the making of the Summer Sun Celebration. And threatening with her music of destruction, Queen Celestia decided it is time to do something (mostly make Sweet Candy do it instead).

Queen, Princess, and Sweet went to the queen’s throne room, to talk about what had just happen. “So what are we going to do mom?, we need to find her, and and punish her.” said Sunny. “Wait, just a minute, Sunny, first we need to figure out who we are dealing with first.” said Celestia. “We’re dealing with an alicorn named Midnight Rhythm.” said Sweet. “Who is she so, that we can punish her?” said Sunny angrily. “Calm down Sunny,  I think I know who she is.” said Celestia. “Who is she?” said Sweet. “Midnight Rhythm is my sister Luna’s daughter.” said Celestia. “WHAT???!!!” said Sweet and Sunny. “Her name originally is Sky Rhyme, but she seems to be under an evil power that my sister use to have.” said Celestia. “What power is that, and why does the book that I read told of this happening? said Sweet. “First, that power is called Nightmarish, and it has the power to posses anybody and make them evil, along with making them stronger.” said Celestia. “Second, that power use to posses my sister and made her into Nightmare Moon, it came when she and I had a fight, and it changed her.” said Celestia. “Third, I believe that Sunny can tell you why about the book.” said Celestia. “You just get to point, without stopping don’t you mom?” said Sunny. “Yes, now tell her what happen between you and Sky.” said Celestia.

“Okay, me and Sky use to be friends, scratch that, best friends. We use to everything together until our moms decided to do something to improve our powers.” said Sunny. “Our moms decided that we could try to control the sun and the moon for a day, to see how we would like it when we become queens. So, I had to bring in the sun first, and see the looks of ponies waking up and enjoying the sun. It was a wonderful experience!” said Sunny. “So, what happen that made you guys fight?” said Sweet. “When it was her turn to bring in the night, she enjoy only a little bit of seeing the ponies enjoy the night, but was disappointed when she saw them fall asleep. So, she got really angry about it, I tried to calm her down, but it didn’t work. She end up saying that I will only get the attention, while she will get zero. I told her no, the ponies in ponyville enjoy her. She said only in a few hours after falling asleep. After that she flew away saying that we are no longer friends. I hadn’t seen or heard from her again.” said Sunny. “But I still do not believe that alicorn is my friend.” said Sunny sadly.
