These Three Girls

  Applebloom woke up and looked over at he digital clock. It was Five o' clock. She got up and rubbed her eyes and looked over at Eren. He sat upright, staring out the window up at the sky. He turned to Applebloom who was standing behind him. He stood up and stretched with a yawn.

"What?" He asked.

"Oh, nothing, I just was coming to wake you up." Applebloom replied.

"For what?" Eren asked.

"Well, we gotta go to school." Applebloom answered.

"Oh, well I thought I started next Monday." Eren sighed.

"Well, that's what we thought until we got a paper in the mail saying that you start today." Applebloom replied.

  Eren sighed, then shrugged. He grabbed his duffle bag and headed for the bathroom. He closed the door shut and Applebloom heard the water running. A few minutes passed and Eren came out of the bathroom with his jeans and grey with white striped shirt on.

"Hey, have you seen my jacket laying around where I was sleeping?" He asked.

  Applebloom nodded and tossed his jacket to him. Eren nodded in thanks and put on the jacket quickly. Applebloom went for the bathroom. Eren closed his duffle bag and threw it around him before leaving the room. He sat at the bottom of the stairs waiting for Applebloom. He became slightly nervous and scratched at his neck, not knowing what would happened once they arrived at the school.

  Eren heard a door open behind him and he saw Applebloom coming down the staris. She was wearing blue jeans with a dark grey T-Shirt, she also had her red bow in her hair.

"Come on, let's go." She said grabbing her bag.

  Eren followed her on his board as they walked to school. Eren stopped as they arrived at a boutique.

"What're we doing here?" He asked.

"We're picking up the girls." Applebloom replied.

  Eren sighed before following Applebloom up the path. Applebloom knocked on the door then turned to talk to Eren. She giggled a bit when she saw him put a fair distance between him and the door. The door finally opened to reveal a tall pale white mare with a dark purple mane.

"Ah, hello Applebloom, you must be here for Sweetie Belle aren't you?" She asked.

"Yes, Ms.Rarity." Applebloom replied.

Rarity noticed Eren and smiled.

"Oh, who's that?" She asked.

"Hmm? Oh that's Eren," Applebloom said leaning close to Rarity's ear, "This is his sixth time being transferred and he's staying with me until he's able to get his own place." Applebloom whispered.

"Ah, I see." Rarity replied. "Well let me not keep you waiting." She sighed.

"Sweetie Belle! Your friends are here, hurry up darling!" Rarity shouted.

"Coming!" Sweetie Belle replied.

  Sweetie Belle came down the stairs and waved towards Applebloom and Eren. She wore tight blue skinny jeans with a black T-Shirt along with a pale blue jacket. She walked past Rarity and joined Applebloom and Eren. She waved goodbye to Rarity as they walked down the path on the way to school.

"So where does Scootaloo live?" Eren asked.

"She's always early to school, as in very early. So there's no need to go pick her up." Sweetie replied.

"Oh, okay. I just want us to stick together." Eren said looking off into space.

  Applebloom and Sweetie Belle exchanged looks for a minute before shrugging and continuing. The rest of the walk was very distant between Eren and the mares. They both saw the amount of sadness on his face, he always kept his eyes glued to the ground and he always seemed to be slouching. All the color, hope and happiness was drained from his eyes and it just looked like he needed a big hug from someone really important to him.

"Hey!" Scootaloo called.

  Everyone looked forward to see Scootaloo standing in front of the sign of the school. They quickly met up with her and began towards the school. Eren thought he saw something on the sign so he looked back and grimaced a bit. School prom was in a month. But he did come here after the first semester, but it's not like he was going in the first place, and he really didn't have anybody to force him to. They were there pretty early, because when they arrived they were the only ones there.

"Hey what time does school even start?" Eren asked.

"Six, but the first class doesn't start until seven." Scootaloo replied.

  Eren pulled out his phone and saw that it was five-forty-five. He sighed then glanced back at the girls.

"You do realize that it's five-forty-five right? So we have time to run somewhere nearby." Eren said.

"Well, there is a coffee shop nearby--"

"I'll be right back." Eren interrupted  Sweetie.

"Are you serious?" Sweetie asked.

"Won't be long." Eren replied quickly.

  Eren hopped on his board and took off immediately. Leaving the girls looking at each other confused. They walked over to the nearest bench and sat down.

  Eren walked into the coffee shop and went up to the counter with his wallet in hand. he gave his order (which was a Extra Large Vanilla Bean Coffee) and put his money on the counter. The cashier nodded before placing the money in the register and going into the back. A few minutes later the cashier came back with Eren coffee. Eren took it and nodded to the cashier who nodded in response.

  Eren looked at his phone, it was just now six. He rode back to the school quickly. He turned the corner and saw a couple of other kids arriving. Sweetie Belle, who was sitting on the bench, waved him over. He walked over taking a sip of his coffee. Sweetie smiled brightly at him and scooted over and patted the spot beside her. Eren sat down beside her with a quizzical look on his face.

"Why are you smiling so much...?" Eren asked.

"I don't know, I just had the thought of having another friend apart of the group." Sweetie replied, who's smile faded.

  Eren sighed and looked forward before slouching back in his seat. Sweetie Belle slouched back with him before crossing her legs. She stared forward deciding whether or not she wanted to say what she was thinking.

"Y-you know..." She began, "Um, other people, m-might not think this, but I think you're pretty cute. Just wanna get that off my chest." She said with a slight blush on her cheeks.

  Eren stopped sipping on his coffee and looked over at Sweetie Belle with a blush of his own. The two stared at each other, trapped in each other's gazes.

"Sweetie Belle--" Eren managed to muster before he was interrupted.

"Well, look who it is." A snooty voice said.

  Eren looked over and saw two mares standing together. One had a light pink coat with a white and pink striped mane and a tiara. The other one had a light grey coat with silver hair that was braided into a ponytail with a purple bow. Eren could already tell he wasn't going to like these girls. They moved in on Sweetie Belle and Eren.

"Hey, where'd you get that coffee?" The grey mare asked.

"I'm sure you've been here longer than I, so I sure hope you can already tell." Eren replied. "Let's go Sweetie Belle, there's no time for this." Eren said taking Sweetie Belle's hand and taking her inside.

  Sweetie Belle's blush intensified as Eren's hand warmed hers. She didn't wanna let go of his hand. They were almost to the doors of the school before they were stopped by the two mares.

"Hey! I don't think I've seen you here before!" The pink mare shouted.

"Well then I'm sure you can tell you don't know me." Eren replied before opening the doors and dragging Sweetie Belle inside.

  They sat down in the cafeteria together silently.

"By the way, where are the others?" Eren asked.

"They went into the gym." Sweetie replied.

"Wanna go join them?" Eren asked.

"Nah, not really. What were you going to say to me before Diamond and Silver interrupted us?" Sweetie asked.

Eren's blush returned and he looked into Sweetie's eyes and they found each other trapped in a never ending gaze.

"C-could we go somewhere else about this?" Eren asked.

"Sure." Sweetie replied.

  They both looked outside and saw no sign of the two mares. They sat down in their original bench and slouched back with a sigh. They looked at each other again with their blushes still intact.

"Sweetie Belle, uh. I honestly don't know, how to reply to that. But... thanks. I never really had anyone compliment me other than my..." Eren's gaze fell.

  Eren leaned forward with his elbows on his knees. He sighed heavily and shook his head. Sweetie crouched down in front of him and looked at him.

"Don't worry, the girls and I won't let anyone hurt you just by talking about your parents, and we won't mention em', alright?" Sweetie asked.

  Eren nodded and sat up. A teacher came up and told them that they had to go inside. Eren and Sweetie Belle went inside together to begin school. Eren felt something tingly that he never felt in a while. He didn't feel afraid or nervous of this day anymore, he felt like he was going to be okay.
