Three days had gone by.  For these days she had not eaten almost anything other than a box of crackers, which she often threw back up. She hadn't had a wink sleep, something deadfall possessed her. Everything she did... It all just served as a cold reminder her of the horrid crimes she had  committed. The guilt ate her inside, slowly driving her mad. She had no clue of what she could do, or at least she knew she had not a clue of what she should do. She just brutally murdered an innocent mare, who must have been about nineteen years of age. The scene constantly played over and over in her head, like a scene from a horror movie; not missing a single detail of her felony.

"Please! Stop!" The air in the candle-lit cabin smelled of the blood, so foul, so sickening the smell could drive almost anyone crazy.

Rarity laughed as the mare began to scream her lungs out. She knew no one could possibly hear her, because they were hundreds of feet away from any kind of civilization. And before Rarity had brought the mare out here she made sure to check the location for any bystanders, or creatures. Luckily she hadn't spotted a single living thing.. This desert area was desolate and empty.

"Haha.. Haha... HAHA!!!!" Rarity opened her cabinet and pulled out a long, thin pointed needle, one she had often used in sewing. She slowly brought it down to the mare's face and stabbed it directly inside her eye.

The blade slowly began to rip through her cornea along with her iris. Blood began to violently squirt out from her pupil and splashed all over the fashionistas' mane; transforming the beautiful royal purple color into a dark, twisted reddish color. The mare released a very disturbing bloodcurdling scream. Her loud screams gave Rarity goosebumps, but somehow she felt as though she loved the feeling of anxiety that slowly overtook her body along with her sanity.

"Tsk, tsk, tsk..." Rarity muttered as she shoved the needle deeper into the mare's eye. "This will teach you discipline, darling."

This mare was once an employee of Rarity's. She was a very clumsy employee, and she often ruined Rarity's beautiful clothing. But this hadn't fazed Rarity, it hadn't even bothered her. But deep down inside, a voice constantly told her this wasn't forgivable. That this mare needed discipline, this mare had to pay for her careless mistakes.

"Ah! Ahhh!" The purple-colored mare shrieked aloud, the pain so unbearable for the her to muster. "I... am... so... so.. s-sorry. Ms. Rarity. I promise I will never let it happen again..." She said choking on tears. Everytime a word came out from her mouth blood began to rise from her body, bubbling out from her mouth and onto Rarity's finest desktop; staining the top in crimson.

"Please... Ms. Rarity... Let me go. I'm begging you!" And with that Rarity plunged the rest of the needle into her eye socket. It tore right through her Macula, then slit the mare's optic nerve, and soon everything in her right eye became blurry. She stopped struggling against the ropes that held her down on the table. She closed her eyes, and everything weren't silent.... She never woke again after that, she couldn't take anymore of it.

Normal ponies don't kill someone over such a simple mistake. Do they?

All the mare had done was cause minor damages to Rarity's latest fashion line. It was a forgivable mistake, not to mention it was her first day after all. Rarity knew she could have repaired the small tears in a pinch.

After she had placed her new floral hat upon her head, everything seemed to change. Was Rarity really suggesting the idea that an object could be responsible for her actions?

"Humph! What a childish accusation." She thought to herself with a pure look of disgust on her face.

Her appearance itself luckily still looked the same, nothing had ever changed, but once someone looks into her dull, colorless blue eyes they can almost immediately notice something is a little off about her.

"I don't want to hurt a-anyone." She said as she hugged Opalescence's lifeless body. She softly stroke the cat's tail and watched the little figure crumble into chunks of bone and dust, she hugged the remains tightly, drenching the pieces of Opalescence in moist, salty tears. All that lay in her hooves now was merely a purple bow, some cat hairs, her bones, and a diamond-encrusted color. Rarity closed her eyes silently praying everything that had happened for the past three days had all just been a horrible nightmare.

She had killed her cat without a single memory of it. She knew Sweetie Belle couldn't have done it since her sister had gone camping with Scootaloo and Rainbow Dash for the weekend. Rarity wished she could have taken Sweetie Belle camping herself, but her work piled up quickly, and kept her tied down the entire weekend. Rarity never did complete Sapphire Shore's line of dresses for the backup dancers. But she didn't want to continue the outfits. Especially not after the monstrous things she's done to a young mare, and her beloved pet, Opalescence.

Now, the only one at the boutique was Rarity... How would she explain to her sister that she murdered a mare and her dearest pet.

What would Sweetie Belle say? Or most importantly, what would she do?

"Opal!!!!!!!!!" She sobbed and collapsed onto the ground still holding Opal's residue against her chest. The cat smelled of dust and blood. The horrendous scent attracted flies that began to circle around the mare and her dead cat, but Rarity didn't care... She focused all her attention on her now departed pet.

"What.. *sob* Have... I... *sob* Done! Opal!!!!!" Rarity sobbed loudly and shouted to the air. She then turned her body towards a shattered mirror. But there were enough pieces for Rarity to make out her reflection.

"This is your fault!" She screamed at the devilish reflection, throwing a ball of yarn at the mirror. It hadn't caused any damage to the mirror as she had intended.

"This is your fault..."

She had gone mad... She now was screaming at the hungry monster that lurked inside her. She knew this wasn't her. This was someone else. It was someone or something that wanted to hurt ponies. Whatever it was it had to be stopped at all costs, but Rarity had no power over it's actions. It forced her to sit back quietly, watching it kill guiltless ponies.

What would happen if one day she murders her little sister? Her own flesh and blood... What would happen then?

Right now it was clear that Rarity had to stop herself from hurting anyone else. She had to talk to someone right away... Before.... Before this killing spree could go any further.
