Pinkie Pie stashes items all over Ponyville in case of emergencies where they may be useful. Balls, whisks, the key to the lost city of Cantlantis, you name it.

After discovering this, Twilight Sparkle was compelled to investigate exactly what sort of things Pinkie was keeping all over Ponyville. The items that she discovered after going on a hunt for Pinkie's stashed items was frankly astonishing.

At least everything she found was labelled with a note telling whoever found them to use them as they liked, but please return them when they were done.
